Throwing sharp objects has never been this much fun! Axes, knives, ninja stars, and even sharp edged cards! First time at an axe throwing place, but Jack Axe has got me wanting to go back again. It's BYOB so bring your favorite brew and get ready for some fun. Steve showed us the basics and then let us throw. It's was a fun filled hour of challenging each other and playing some games. After it was done Steve gave us a demo of some pretty awesome trick throws. Definitely recommend Jack Axe!

What an amazing time took my work team for get together and an absolute blast had by all. You can bring snacks and food to set up in bar area ... and then they serve alcohol so that was a plus for those that drink. And pool tables for those who wanted to do something extra.

Very helpful when throwing and I honestly loved that I got better throughout my throws. I really enjoyed that they allow you to drink while throwing axes ( they will cut you off if they notice you're not fully able to throw ) and it's been a great experience, especially adding three more items to throw, such as a small shovel head, two thin axes and a saw blade (remember they will instruct you how to properly handle them so avoid you getting hurt) Also enjoy they have electronic pages to sign wavers (such as on tablet or scan code) so it was very easy to use other than paper. They also have pool tables in case after your time is over you can play, and the arcade punching scale. Thank you S for being such a wonderful teacher to show us how to properly throw and how to be safe, I loved your bubbly attitude and sweet smile!!

It was a rainy Sunday in Charleston, so my friend and I spent a good long time trying to brainstorm…read moreindoor activities to do. We settled on Chucktown and drove up to North Charleston to check it out. We reserved the mini golf in advance on their website, though honestly the axe throwing looked much more fun. There was a little wait to check in and then we were given our clubs and balls. It was a small course and not what you'd typically expect from indoor mini golf. The sets looked pretty old, like they could use a refresh, but we had a good time overall. Other people had the same idea as us, so it was very crowded in there. It's connected to a brewery too, so we tried some samples on our way out.

I was really excited to visit this place and make some memories before heading back home, but…read moreunfortunately, it ended up being a disappointing experience and a complete waste of money. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but there were several issues. When we arrived, the guy at the front counter told us there would be a 20-minute wait for axe throwing. To pass the time, we bought the all-activities pass and asked how we'd know when it was our turn. He said he would come find us, but after waiting over 30 minutes, two groups went ahead of us--one had a reservation, which we understand, but the other group purchased their pass after we did. It also seemed like they didn't have enough staff to manage everything. The front counter employee left in the middle of our transaction to go over safety protocols with another group. About five minutes later, another employee came up and rather rudely asked us to move so another group could fill out forms. Eventually, someone else completed our transaction, but almost handed our purchase to the wrong group. There was no system in place--no wristbands or any clear way to track what you paid for or when it was your turn. The space was overcrowded, and there was little to no guidance on what to do after purchasing. In the end, we only managed to play a bit of Tetris and didn't get to enjoy any of the activities we paid for. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and the online presentation of this place is misleading compared to what it's actually like in person.
