Nice, clean, well kept, and fun. What more do you need? The staff is friendly and helpful.

This is a well maintained and fun family course. The grandkids lover the pirate theme with the cannonball splashes in the water.

One of the best, cleanest, and fun mini golf courses at the beach. The course is so much fun and all the special features...the cave, waterfall, pretend cannons with splashes in the water, the boat...make it an amazing night of fun! read more

Spy Glass Golf - Mini Golf Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

We've been to over 10 mini golf courses at Myrtle Beach, and this is the best in terms of theming and condition. With sounds, fountains, and caves, it really exceeds our expectations. The holes are also easy enough for the kids to play. read more

The grounds are kept pristine. We had a good time. So many to choose from, this one was big and looked busy. A couple of challenging holes. Keep watch for the skeletons, setting off the cannons and the "balls" booming into the water. read more

After showing up to a different course to find out it was closed, I gave Spyglass a call and headed over. We checked in ($12 per person), grabbed our clubs and our ball and headed to hole #1. When we arrived (around 11:00am) there was only one other group on the course, but within 15 minutes there were a few other groups behind us. The holes were easy to moderate and I think it's a fun course for players of all ages, as long as you don't take yourself to seriously. It's meant to be fun after all, not a professional game of golf. I will note there were a decent amount of steps, so if that's some that that if difficult for anyone in your party, this may not be the best place for you. But if you can handle the steps, it's definitely worth the trip, because there are some pretty cool effects and holes. read more

This was a very fun putt putt course. My whole family loved it. Well maintained, easy enough for young children but still challenging for older children to adults. read more

Fun, clean, easy to navigate, perfect amount of puts. Lady at the front had a bit of attitude, but other than that it was a good experience. Hope she has a better day soo read more

Great course. Out of the 5 courses I played in Myrtle Beach, this is by far the best designed and most fun to play. Even has roughs on the course. 10/10 recommend. They also include tax in their prices. So the price you see is what you pay! Make sure you play this course when you come to the beach! read more

Fun place for the family. It appeared that they recently updated the place, it looked almost new. The cannons ball splashing periodically was a fun touch to their pirate theme. Only thing that could make this place better is more shaded areas when you're waiting to play. read more

Really a 4.5 Star Review. Most holes were above average but some seemed a little repetitive.

My wife went here in the evening and had a pleasant time. The course was reasonably priced and played well. I would recommend this for couples or families. read more

Great fun and well maintained mini golf . Layout is good , the pirate theme is interesting , only complain and reason why I took a star away is the difficulty of the course. Too easy and less challenging in my opinion , somehow I think mini golf should be more 'unpredictable' and be creative hitting the hole , this place is easy , my 10 ur girl and hit par with most of the holes read more

(There are two Yelp pages for this course. This page is claimed, the other page is not. I'm reposting my review from 2016 on the unclaimed page to this one.) My parents and I played this course on an early Friday morning. We were the only people on the course for about 5 holes and then a couple of groups came to play after us. The weather was nice but it got hotter the longer we played. We hadn't played the course in a couple of years. The course is well maintained. I do want to note that there are a lot of steps. If there is someone in your party who has trouble with steps, especially steep ones, this probably isn't the course for you. The wooden steps are taller than normal, and some of the handrails need tightening because they're loose and shaky. The steps going into the cave were the worst. They are very long, wide, and steep in random places. There are no handrails to hold on to, so you're pretty much grasping at the sides of the cave to steady yourself. Also, it can get very hot and muggy and steamy in the cave, which makes it easy to slip. Once you got inside, there were a plethora of holes and divots in the concrete. You really have to watch your step so you don't twist an ankle. There were several places where heavy duty non-slip mats were put down (especially when you're walking behind the waterfall) which I appreciated. There's a cute little gift shop inside the building where you pay. The woman behind the counter (I assume the owner?) was very polite and cheerful. Don't forget to ask about the secret hole-in-one hole! read more

Coming from one of the absolute worst mini golf players ever, I found this course to be both challenging yet still easy enough to not get overly frustrated. Every hole was intended to be a par 2 however as others have pointed out, they each pose a challenge and aren't just straight shots. While reading other yelper's reviews I was surprised to find out that this place has been open for over 20 years! I couldn't believe it because the course was so well kept that it looked brand new and the special effects were impressive. This place is great for families and non-pro style mini golf players (my BF didn't think it was very challenging). One thing to keep in mind is that there are a lot of steps which does not make it friendly to those with limited mobility read more

Super nice course! A tad bit pricey but the quality is definitely worth it. All the holes were clean and well maintained and they had a ton of cool props and decorations set up! Also they have "canons" that go off periodically! Super cool effects. We will definitely be back to play another round! read more

I love mini gulf and this was a fun course. The obstacles were a fun challenge, the grounds were beautiful, clean and well manicured. Spy Glass Golf - Mini Golf Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

I've been coming to Spy Glass for over 20 years now - as a kid and now with my kids every time we visit Myrtle Beach. It is always immaculately maintained and great way to spend an afternoon away from the beach. I believe all the holes are par 2, and a mix of traditional golf hazards with pirate themed obsticals. There is some elevation and stairs, but nothing too intense. With the exception of 3 holes that are in a "cave" the course is uncovered and offers little shade so be sure to bring a hat / wear sunscreen if you are visiting on a sunny day. Course fees are $11 for adults and slightly less for kids. Well worth the fee for a very memorable time and one that you will repeat again on future visits to MB. read more

Spy Glass Golf - Beautiful course and exceptionally well maintained. - Mini Golf Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

We had such a fun time here. It really wasn't busy at all and the people they were very friendly. It was a little while the main path which made it nice. It was very clean and well kept.. there is a part where you go in a little cave which makes it really fun. They do let you know upfront that there are some cannons going off so if that's an issue this may not be for you but I didn't notice it was that loud or startling. But you should definitely give it a try! read more

Need to do better job of limiting group sizes. 10 is too many for one group. Mini golf in Myrtle Beach is always packed and slow, but this place needs to do a better job. There is no one there to manage, just on older lady that sits behind the counter that takes money and one young boy who does nothing to help move people along. Place is well maintained and very clean. read more

I never give a mini golf place 5 stars, because all mini golf places are about the same; unless they're just complete shit, then I would rate low. But I was actually impressed with Spy Glass. For being so close to the beach, and being in the center of the tourist area, it was a decent course to play on. It's right on the corner of business 17 and 38th ave. The course was clean, a good amount of the holes were challenging, and not just a straight shot into the holes like most tourist courses. ***!!! One thing to consider, there are a lot of stairs throughout all 18 holes. So keep that in mind if you are in a party where someone has a harder time with stairs. Two of the holes were in the cave, which I thought was dangerous even for us 20 something year olds. There's a walkway that goes right behind the waterfall inside the cave, on a downhill, that gets soaked!! We were considered we were going to slip. Never mind anyone older than us.. read more

Spy Glass is a really great miniature golf course. I have been there many times, most recently earlier this month with my sister and brother-in-law. It is mostly surrounded by water and features a large ship and waterfall. The course is moderately challenging with a few tricky holes. It generally gets very busy after 8pm. Expect to wait awhile especially if they are a lot of larger groups. It is a lot of fun and one of the better courses in Myrtle Beach! Definitely recommend. read more

We tried going to a couple of different putt putt courses first, but they were all crazy busy and backed up. We arrived here and were able to golf right away. It was decently busy, but we didn't feel rushed. There is only one course here. Some courses in myrtle beach have 2 sides to choose from this one doesn't. This wasn't a big deal to us but just wanted to make sure others know. The course is challenging, but not crazy difficult. There's really good affects such as water cannons that go off randomly as you're golfing which make things fun. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for something fun to do. This course gets the official McConaughey alright alright alright! read more

Was here during my vacation at Myrtle Beach and stopped by on our way back to the hotel. The course is well laid out and is very nicely themed. Each hole is fun to play without being too much of a challenge. I would recommend this mini golf. read more

The kid they call kermit that god and his queen moosey the myrtle beach mini golf pros found this course and wow. this was hands down the nicest course maybe in myrtle beach. the green is absolutely amazing and true. soft, firm, all green turf makes the ball have a true roll which no bs. the holes are fun and challenging. love the cave to make me howl my moose fever. the boat holes makes me have my hoes out. love the painting and watch the pirates argggg!! occasional bombing from the ships make the kerm do the dance. read more

There are so many choices for putt putt in the area and this one looked the coolest out of a bunch in the general vicinity. 2 adults $21, they had a coupon they let us use. We got to play 2 rounds! Hole 18 takes your ball but if you go inside the nice lady will give you any other one to play an additional round. The course is really nice too. The landscaping is beautiful. There are stairs just FYI in case you can't navigate them well. There are 2 holes that are inside this cave & behind the big waterfall. Overall it was very enjoyable! We went on a Tuesday morning and there was no one else there for most of the time. read more

Been coming to Myrtle Beach for years and finally got around to playing Spyglass. I have played just about every course in North Myrtle & Myrtle Beach and this would be one of the better ones I have played at, but lost in the shuffle because of the newer courses. The course is well taken care of and the holes are simple to moderate, but entertaining enough for a child to enjoy. The course carries you through a broken ship and through a cave on the backside on 16 & 17. It's worth a visit and has some great spots for photos if your into doing that. read more

Went here a few years ago. Car was broken into and purse was stolen. Heed the signs about not leaving anything of value in view...I didn't realize purse was not tucked away, so that's on me. Management was not even remotely apologetic or helpful in calling police. My review is based not on the car being broken into, but the response from management. We will not return there. read more
