Service was great! Food was meh. We were seated upstairs, which was nice and spacious for a group of 6.

Green Mix salad is absolutely delicious

Initially, we planned to dine somewhere else, but ended up passing by Jacinta Cuisine and seeing some better offerings. So glad we did! We wanted something on the lighter side so we decided to share a salad, entree, and dessert. We ordered the Green Mix which was absolutely refreshing, perfectly tart, and delicious. My husband is still adjusting to salad life and he very much enjoyed this, even with it being a honey Dijon vinaigrette. It was right up my alley though. We also split the Mediterranean Chicken and it was phenomenal. Root mashed veggies, a tapenade, and sauce I could put over everything. We absolutely devoured the plate. Which, by the way, I very much appreciated our server refreshing after every meal. Such a nice touch to keep getting clean plates and silverware. Our server was honestly top notch and best service in PR, hands down. To finish the wonderful meal, we decided to splurge and get the Manchego Flan. Do not pass! It is a different texture than your typical flan but it is beyond tasty. Not too sweet with a hint of cheesiness knocked this dessert out of the park. It was unique and fresh and probably a top 15 dessert, maybe 10 honestly. Jacinta Cuisine is most definitely worth a stop and you can enjoy a nightcap at the cigar shop next door and a walk around a party district afterwards.

10/10 Visiting from California and everywhere we went it was hard to find English speakers (we speak some Spanish but ordering food with a language barrier and difficult). This was one of the places where we were able to communicate despite the barriers, we spoke in English and they spoke in Spanish and everyone was able to understand ! Love that they are open at noon, looks like it's a recent thing. We came in exactly at 12:00pm on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy . Great service. Gave us clean plates for every course, clean new set of utensils and napkins, asked us how everything went and tasted as well. I recommend getting the Cod as an entree because the potatoes were so yummy and the fish itself was fresh. Forgot to take pics of the tuna crudo cause we just dug in and that was amazing as well. Very light, refreshing. The flan was a bit different texture for me since I'm used to East LA abuela flan but it was still super yummy . Looking forward to coming again on our next visit !

Good elevated take on Italian and PR food. I was surprised that this place didn't have more diners because I thought the food was really good. It is on the small side, but two small plates were enough for me.

I enjoyed the food selection and the service. It's really nicely decorated as well. The inside seating is very limited but it's very intimate and would be great for a date night. It's in a busy area of the city though so expect a crowd. The meatballs were my fav! Have them if you go :).

Food was amazing. The service was great. The area is a bit nosy but worth the inconvenience.

We came in here while looking for something to eat around the placita and were seated upstairs without a reservation. Best decision ever because the food was so good. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the hummus. It was so good with a hint of lime, literally the best. Chicken was delicious and I really want the root mash recipe! The drizzle of soy sauce on the plate gave it a different dynamic. Not to mention the restaurant is dimly lit and makes for a lovely dinner date.

The decor in this restaurant was so on point. I really did enjoy looking at the art work. There were paintings everywhere. My bartender Denzel was the man. He did an awesome job. The only reason it didn't get a 5 was because of the food. Everything was pretty underwhelming but not bad either. They plate really well!! The drinks were good as well. I would definitely come again to try other food options.

Came into Jacinta recommended by the owner of Tasca el pescador near La Placita and we did not have a reservation. Wilson, the owner, welcomed us with open arms. The place is beautifully decorated, very cozy and artsy. The food is delicious and nice presentation. We ordered the wagyu beef sliders, the pear and gorgonzola ravioli and the boar meatballs and for dessert the pudding. All very tasty. We arrived around 8PM on a Sunday. We were the second table and by 9PM the whole place got packed, including a dining room on the second floor. Can't wait to come back!

This place is the real deal. It's a new spot as of writing this so I wanted to give them a shout, even though the prices at first remind me of New York City prices (where I live) but boy do they deliver. I'm a picky eater. The octopus escabeche is 5/5 ($19). Boar meatballs a 4/5 ($15). The prices are right. Absolutely a worthy drop-in where the value is bang-on. And the people working here care. Enjoy.

Kept seeing a bunch of reviews on how amazing this place was and honestly it's up there…read more To start off, I'm not really a sweets guy so my take is going to be a little off from the general public. We were able to snag a reservation but for a late time which was about an hour and a half before close. The service was super great but one thing I wished they mentioned that the bottled water was going to be a $40 charge lol. Makes sense for any upscale restaurant though. Should've mentioned we wanted tap so fair warning, ask cause you WILL get charged haha. We had a group of 10 and for how big the group was, the food came out pretty fast. I don't think we ever had a time between drinks to entrees where we were waiting for food to come out. We got the watermelons mojito for drinks since it was the most raved about. It was good but personally nothing crazy for me. 8/10 score on that. We also curry popcorn chicken, the ahi tuna lollipops, the empanadillas and the goat cheese quesadillas for apps and honestly overall 9/10. This is where I don't like the sweetness part of this meal. The empanadillas were what I was most excited for but it was more sweet then savory which sort of lose my appetite a little. I think if you like that kind of taste then it's going to be good. It wasn't a bad taste at all. Just too sweet for my liking. The curry popcorn chicken was good and the lollipops were great. Again, nothing crazy. The goat cheese quesadillas was good as well but again, too sweet for my liking. Now on to the entree, they didn't have the porkchop since we came late so I ended up getting the porkchop belly dish. When it came out, it looked amazing but then I got a whiff of it and smelled cinnamon. That's when I was sort of disappointed. It was like eating pork but tasting Cinnamon Toast Crunch and as said before, it tasted great but too sweet for me. This one was way too sweet to where it seemed like a dessert item. I just had poor luck and got one of the one items that were sweet. This doesn't tank the rating down whatsoever because I also should've read it had cinnamon. It would've been great if they made a dipping sauce or something to pair it with and not have it on the pork belly itself. I got to try other dishes my friends got which were good as well but I wish I got to try something else. If I came back I would try the sold out item which was the pork shank or the sea bass. I know for a fact the sea bass was amazing. Had a bite of it and thought "I'll come back for that" Overall, 10/10 experience and nothing bad about the place but gotta try different items when I go next time. I understand the hype now

Out of all the restaurants I visited in Puerto Rico, my friends and I came to the agreement that this was definitely the best one, and I can't believe we almost didn't come! To start off, the staff is super nice and made us feel welcome. I may be biased because one of them complimented my "gracias" (lol) but they were accommodating and patient as we had a hard time deciding what we wanted to order, since everything looked so good! The pinchos de atun was a must-try since everyone online was talking about that dish in particular, and it was AMAZING. The tuna is so fresh and complimented so well by the sauce and the rice cracker. The ceasar salad was flavorful and a great addition, since we didn't have much veggies at that point in our trip. And the sea bass!! SO tender and delicious. We also got the perfect lady cocktail and the guava & cheese bread pudding, and both were perfectly sweet and balanced out the rest of the meal. Everything about this place was amazing. The inside of the restaurant is very pretty and it's located near La Placita, so easily accessible to the nightlife if you want to party afterward. I will definitely be recommending Santaella to all my friends and coming back if I visit San Juan again.

Wepa wepa! From Groceries to turning up, this is your spot! I was researching spots to celebrate…read morefor New Year's, this was one of the spots that showed up. AMBIANCE You're in the city so it's an eventful area. There's street parking and nearby lots but your best to carpool or rideshare. As for the vibes, I'm told in the daytime it's a local marketplace that's filled with vendors and other fresh produce booths. It's pretty chill with a nice neighborhood feel. As for the evening, this is where to turn up and get a pulse of Puerto Rico parties. EXPERIENCE Go to your bar, pick your vibe from community, club excessive, lounge feel, live music or etc. Drink choices rangeThey have it here! Plenty of photo op spots and good energy. I was here peak of the #DTMF era so it was magical to see people come together with a speaker and a cowbell. A local put into perspective how this was way better than paying for an expensive hotel party. It was truly a 1 of 1 experience. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. It doesn't get any better. There's a reason why this space is dropped in lyrics and people's recommendations because this is the heart of the people. So don't be shy! Grab a drink, walk around, catch a dance, and be safe! TIPS: * Don't just settle for one spot. Be sure to explore around to experience the entire Santurce experience!

Review #1,047 Posted on 4.26.26…read more We came to La Placita on Thursday the 23rd, when in town to celebrate my buddies 50th birthday. I guess this was purposefully done as I've heard it's nuts here on Fridays & Saturdays. When you get dropped off at the main road when you walk down it takes you to all the action in a few hundred feet. This place was still packed, but it was popping, the place to be at night I'd guess. They've got all JJ da of restaurants, bars, & clubs here. Tons of music, & a good time.
