We didn't want to be in direct sunlight and it was a little windy. The wall and roof helped with the wind. Part of the hotel has glass floors. A little trippy and cool at the same time. We started off with cocktails. The hibiscus guava margarita was beautiful and delicious. Overall, all the cocktails were great. For starters, we got the crab donuts. Literally, the best of both worlds. Who doesn't love a sweet donut with savory crab. That was one of my favorites. The tuna starter was so good too. So fresh with nice size pieces of tuna, watermelon, red onion, and jalapeño. The tuna came with a corn chip and smashed avocado too. For my entree, I ordered the trio of taquitos. Most of the menu is tapas style so I wasn't sure how hungry I was. The taquitos were so good and fresh. They were small so I ordered more! I forgot to take a picture of the shrimp lettuce wraps but my stomach was so happy. My husband ordered the crab fried rice. You have to work for it, but they make it easy. The flavors were delicious. Our friends ordered the crab fried rice and the catch of the day, which was grouper. Me and my boyfriend decided to split the chillo frito and we were beyond impressed. First off the fish was massive! It was so light and flavorful and not greasy at all. She said the meat was cooked perfectly and she loved the beans.
