We loved this place! Our drinks were so good and such unique flavors. We took our drinks to the roof to enjoy the stars. Stop in for a drink!

Came here last weekend for the first time to celebrate my sister-in-law's 40th birthday. We had a good time. The ambiance was cool, dimly lit. This wasn't one of those bars where the music is loud and you can't talk, which was good. Service was friendly. The Old Fashioned was excellent. Unfortunately my wife and I had to leave before the food showed up, but it looked good. I would return. No parking, no valet. Street parking only or better yet, Uber. The bar itself is located on the 2nd floor, indoors. The rooftop has no bar. The roof does have plenty of space, seating, and a nice view. They also have speakers with music. The downside is no rooftop bar.

I am really happy we stopped here. Really beautiful restaurant. While we didn't sit inside, the interior on the second floor looked really beautifully designed. We sat on the rooftop! It was spacious with great views of the cityscape and string lights. There was live music - and I really enjoyed the music. My friend and I ordered some apps and an entree to share. The roasted garlic hummus was especially tasty. Our servers were great.

Great ambience you can sit on the rooftop, which is more casual or inside is a fancier vibe. The food was so tasty that drinks were good. Wish they had a more extensive menu, but it was OK. I will definitely go back. Service was nice and attentive.

I came with a group of friends on a Sunday night on Mother's Day, and it was fairly empty. However, the ambience of the place was very chic. It gives more of a lounge/bar vibe, but since we had been so busy all day, we decided to get some food. The food did not disappoint! I had Montaditos Ropa Vieja and Momposteao, which was really quite good! I shared the parmesan truffle fries with a friend, and grabbed our go-to drink, Don Q Parcha. Overall this is a great spot to meet with others and have a chill chat with sipping on great drinks and fantastic food! That ropa vieja I'm still dreaming about

Amazing food and location. We were pleasantly surprised and they were also able to accommodate a large group on a Friday night.

Service was good and the rooftop is fun, wide open space with music and yard games.

AMBIANCE You're in the city so it's an eventful area. There's street parking and nearby lots but your best to carpool or rideshare. As for the vibes, I'm told in the daytime it's a local marketplace that's filled with vendors and other fresh produce booths. It's pretty chill with a nice neighborhood feel. As for the evening, this is where to turn up and get a pulse of Puerto Rico parties. EXPERIENCE Go to your bar, pick your vibe from community, club excessive, lounge feel, live music or etc. Drink choices rangeThey have it here! Plenty of photo op spots and good energy. I was here peak of the #DTMF era so it was magical to see people come together with a speaker and a cowbell. A local put into perspective how this was way better than paying for an expensive hotel party. It was truly a 1 of 1 experience. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. It doesn't get any better. There's a reason why this space is dropped in lyrics and people's recommendations because this is the heart of the people. So don't be shy! Grab a drink, walk around, catch a dance, and be safe! TIPS: * Don't just settle for one spot. Be sure to explore around to experience the entire Santurce experience!

Review #1,047 Posted on 4.26.26…read more We came to La Placita on Thursday the 23rd, when in town to celebrate my buddies 50th birthday. I guess this was purposefully done as I've heard it's nuts here on Fridays & Saturdays. When you get dropped off at the main road when you walk down it takes you to all the action in a few hundred feet. This place was still packed, but it was popping, the place to be at night I'd guess. They've got all JJ da of restaurants, bars, & clubs here. Tons of music, & a good time.

You won't get that in the tourist areas. I went on a Friday night and there were people everywhere. On the sidewalk and on the streets. I don't even know how cars managed to make it through, there were so many people. There was loud music but I don't remember if it was coming from this club or the open air club across the street... It all bleeds together after a while. This spot is less of a club and more of a local hangout spot. Not really much dancing going on... Just drinking, talking, laughing, and catching up with friends. Not quite a "chill" vibe, but much more chill than some of the surrounding venues. Perfect for enjoying a few beers or cocktails, people watching, and unwinding after a long week, or a long flight.

This whole area is basically a party in the streets, with dozens of people hanging out with loud music blasting. It is almost like La Placita-lite. It's a fun time, and Watusi seems to be the epicenter of the action. We had a reasonably price Don Q Coconut and a beer and wandered around to enjoy the tropical weather and fun vibes. Bonus points for the wutang logo above the door.
