They repaired my Brother printer promptly (1 day) and completely. Price was fair. Personal service too. I recommend.

Great customer service. Jab Solutions has saved my expensive printer twice. Price was extremely reasonable and turnaround was 24 hours.

Chipheads Computer Repair Shop - Before repair - lots of not-so-cute dust bunnies and sticky spill on the touchpad. Not sure how considering no one else sees this laptop.

A while back, I contacted Chipheads for a comparison quote on the replacement of a laptop keyboard and frame after a water spill fried a touchpad. The first place I had visited for a quote was a lovely one-man shop that quoted me $300 minimum for the repair - and that was with full awareness that I'd already purchased my own replacement parts and therefore all cost on his part was purely labor. He also communicated clearly that accessing the keyboard area required moving multiple parts he was not entirely familiar with and laughed that he would have to give me the $2000+ laptop he'd tried to sell me if the repair didn't go well. I left the establishment unconvinced of his capability to fix my also $2000+ design powerhouse that had not left my side since I got her. Enter Chipheads. I contacted via the general email address on the website, outlining the general situation and requesting a quote. Chipheads teammate Scott responded, and the quote he gave was comparable. I then emailed to confirm that I'd ordered the right parts before making the decision to put my laptop basically in the hospital right before I was going to be gone for a full two weeks, so I wouldn't be able to get her back even if the parts were wrong and repairs could not be done. Scott never responded to that email, and I had to leave for my out-of-town event. When I'm home, I rely on my laptop heavily, so dropping off when I'm not occupied with an event is not ideal. When another long event came up on my schedule, I contacted Chipheads again, this time creating a new email thread directing back to the general email address - the previous thread had directed to Scott's email address after we connected. I admit that I was hoping that I would connect with Jarret this time, and I did. He responded not only quickly but also giving me the option of a two-week repair period for less than $200. I'd be occupied with my event for exactly that amount of time anyway, so this was perfect. When I arrived the day before my event started, Jarret was with another guest. Both the impression that the first shop had given me about the delicate nature of my repair and my own experience in tinkering with laptops and electronics in general added to why I specifically waited to speak directly with Jarret given the impression of reliability he gave me in our correspondence. I dropped my laptop off with Jarret the day before my event started. Less than 48 hours later, he called to let me know that my laptop was ready for pickup. That was back in August. I specifically waited to ensure that the laptop was in perfect working order before leaving a review. It's now October. Safe to say, my laptop is in good health. Dropping one star for Scott dropping the ball on communication. Regardless, I'd wholeheartedly recommend Chipheads for your repair and upgrade needs.

I can't even begin to explain our company's 5 years of IT nightmares (with 3 previous providers)…read morebefore we chose Tech Guru: we have lost thousands of hours of productivity & a ridiculous amount of money to bad IT services. We were very hesitant & afraid to even try Tech Guru because we'd been burned so many ways previously. When we decided to give Tech Guru a try, our company had 2 brand new servers hooked into a network so badly built that we literally could not work for 2 hours without some kind of massive failure that would take hours to fix, only to break down again soon. We had a choice between Tech Guru & 2 other companies. Right up front, Tech Guru's costs were much more reasonable, their description of what was wrong & what needed to be done was honest, they addressed our fears, & gave us a realistic timeframe & plan of attack (one company wanted $250/hr to starts & said it would take a minimum 50 hours to even diagnose our trouble!). We chose Dan & his guys over the other companies not just for cost reasons; it mainly had to do with how Dan approached our bad situation: with confidence, clarity & a clear resolution. Fast-forward to us today, 5 months later: we have a real live working network, workstations, backup & remote access we can depend on for the 1st time in years! It has been a pleasure for everyone in our company to work with Tech Guru; their customer service has exceeded all expectations. They patiently & expertly rebuilt everything from the ground up, while teaching us & answering all of our questions along the way - all at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Tech Guru to anyone, business or personal, but especially to businesses that've had difficulty in the past.

While it took some time to get to a final resolution, the staff was persistent, honest, and professional. In summary, the experience was good and communication was excellent. I can't directly compare the service to sending back directly to Lenovo (they might have automatically known about the BIOS problem), but when you use someone local, you get a name and face to deal with directly. My impression is that this business really wants to provide personal customer service. I would use them again.
