We visited on a beautiful Friday afternoon and enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the vineyard. We did a tasting and charcuterie board with cheeses, meats & fruits that blended well with the wine varieties on the menu. Dawn's warm and welcoming personality as well as her knowledge of the wines made our visit even more wonderful. If your in the area this vineyard should definitely be added to your stops

I'm leaving a review for J Wrigley because the wines and the conversation were so good on Saturday (4th AUG) at WineKraft. Rebecca, owner of WineKraft in Astoria, was hosting a wine tasting with J Wrigley. I do enjoy a good glass of wine and (this is my opinion and usually doesn't happen) I actually enjoyed ALL 5 wines that John was sampling: "Mac" Cuvée Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and a special sparkling wine called "Jubilation". My guy and I went home with a bottle of each. I highly recommend a visit to the vineyards and enjoy some delicious wines. John and Jody have a real gem in the Willamette Valley and they deserve your business!

Lovely place lovely people, not my favorite Wines. My husband and I went up last minute and the people were extremely nice and accommodating. We followed google maps DO NOT DO THAT! Get directions from them first if you go! (Google Maps takes you to a dead end miles away!) we arrived and they had BBQ that day. The BBQ was delicious (only draw back was due to Covid since we had to sit outside, the wind was crazy and the bees were extremely attracted to our meal!) we had 5 samples (a Pinot Gris, Riesling, Rose bubbles, and two Pinot Noirs). After reading about the vineyard and the fact that you can't buy most of their wine in stores, we didn't want to miss out on this exclusive opportunity. In the end, my husband who is a huge Pinot Gris fan and me, a huge Pinot Noir fan - struggled hard to enjoy a single glass. We really wanted to like it we did! And the people were lovely. But depending on the glass , the front end or the back end of the wine left unpleasant tastes. Every glass had a great nose though! So that in itself was pleasant. We did buy 1 bottle of the 2015 Pinot because this bottle had a soft vanilla backend that would put nicely with a charcuterie board, but the front end was sharp. Our hope is that when we get it home and let it breath more that will help? (Like I said we really want to like it).

This is my new favorite place. It's completely off the beaten path, but once you drive up the dirt road you'll be rewarded with incredible views and great wine. They have a great tasting room and outdoor patio. If the weather is nice I can imagine sitting outside with a glass of wine would be absolutely perfect. The woman working was friendly and knowledgeable. John, the winemaker, was working in the area and stopped in to say hi. Super nice guy. For the most part the wine was really delicious. I particularly liked the pinot made from the Coleman vineyard grapes (right across the valley). It's a limited release so go and grab some while they still have it! Their signature pinots are quite tasty as well and I expect will improve with age. This place a hidden gem but I HIGHLY recommend making the detour!

This place is truly a beautiful place to experience with someone you love. Their homemade soup is perfect on a cold night. And the white is the perfect way to end a hot summer night.

Fantastic views, very passionate and welcoming host (who happens to be the owner of the winery), cute welcoming dog and the best part was the wine. Fantastic Pinot Noir's from the region, great prices and just overall a great experience!

Charcuterie plate prepared by Jody's Mom - perfect compliment to the wines. :)

We enjoyed a lovely anniversary outing mid-week at J Wrigley Vineyards. The wines are amazing and having the opportunity to chat with Jody, her Mom, and Jeff about the vineyard history and wines was a special treat. We will definitely be returing to share the views, wines, and wonderful owners with our friends and family.

What a gem! Went to this hidden treasure in Sheridan, OR for a friends wedding and had an amazing evening. The view and service was excellent. The wine selection of this boutique winery was delicious. Will for sure go back again to taste some more wines and enjoy the beautiful view.

We had never heard about this winery nor did we plan…read moreto visit this space while in the Willamette Valley; but fortunately, we randomly found out about it and were so glad to check it out on a Sunday afternoon. There are so many different wineries around the Willamette Valley, so it's difficult to choose where to go. And of course, the most popular ones will likely be booked up. But my partner found Coeur de Terre and made a reservation for us to visit this winery in the late afternoon, which ended up being a delightful experience. The vineyard is located far from the city, up on a hill, surrounded by other vineyards and orchards. Just the setting itself is worth visiting. The winery with its own vineyard is spacious, with a large, open building that's open for the public. However, where you want to sit is outside on the patio, which overlooks the hills and vineyard. We had a reservation for 4PM on a Sunday, which was the last hour before closing. We tried six different wines: a chardonnay, pinot gris, rose, syrah and two pinot noirs. Now, we came to Oregon wine country because we wanted to explore pinot noirs, which is king in this part of the country. And I can say that the pinot noirs at Coeur de Terre were solid. I normally would not choose a pinot noir, but Coeur de Terre made me a believer. They grow all of their grapes here at the vineyard, and what I liked most about the pinot noirs is that they were more robust than other pinot noirs I've had. I like my reds more bold and heavy, and these pinot noirs were heavier. We had a wonderful experience here, exploring the pinot noirs and taking in the views and setting. The employee who helped us out was friendly, too. I recommend visiting if you're in the area. Tasting is $25 per person, and is waived with a $75 bottle purchase per person.

I generally am not a huge fan of Pinot Noir but that all changes if it's from Oregon's Willamette Valley, which has the perfect climate and soil for it. Coleman is located up a dirt road and the unpretentious tasting room is located within their barrel room, the perfect laid-back, down-to-earth place to enjoy a tasting flight. Their vineyard is just outside, and on a nice day you can sit and enjoy some wine while gazing at the grapes. After being invited to take a seat at the bar, Krystal was informative, friendly, engaging, and conversational as she poured the wine. Water and crackers were provided to cleanse our palates between wines. Our flight consisted of six wines, three of which were Pinots and were the ones I found most pleasing. My favorites were a 2019 and a 2020 Pinot Noir Estate Reserve, both of which I purchased a bottle of to take home. I also had the pleasure of talking with one of the owners, Kim, who was a joy to speak with and learn about the back story of Coleman Vineyard. It's a small production wine and not found in stores in my area so my future purchases will be made via their website.

As you enter the driveway, there is a beautiful iron gate which welcomes you to the long driveway past the pond and up to the gorgeous stone building that houses the tasting room and event space.
