However, Im sorry to say that my hair was a disaster. I was so upset all day because as soon as I got back to my hotel, all of my curls looked like I just woke up. I had no curls at all! I had guest traveling over an hour and their hair stayed and looked better then mine. My hair was extremely frizzy and looked like my 8 year old niece did it. I'm hoping that my pictures do not come out bad. Im just glad that I had my veil on for at least half of the pictures because it hid my hair. = (

Oh, the wonder that is Ore Makeup Design! The makeup business is an undoubtedly competitive one,…read moreand the business of makeup artistry has become ubiquitous in the already overwhelming internet and social media spaces. Then, there is the business of planning a wedding- from a bride's perspective, the what, where, who and how in the planning process could very easily make her feel as if she's approaching the brink of insanity. Because what bride doesn't want to look absolutely breathtaking on the biggest day of her life? Sure, she breathes that sigh of relief once she's chosen the perfect dress, and it seems that she has all of her pretty little ducks in an equally pretty row (venue- check, flowers, check, bridesmaid dresses, check...), when suddenly it dawns on her...what in the heck am I going to do about.........my MAKEUP and HAIR?! Who, in this ocean of choices, is the right choice? The anxiety can be enough to make a girl down a bottle of wine in 60 seconds. The above in mind, though there may be a plethora of names in the makeup artistry business, there is only ONE NAME that outshines them all...ORE MAKEUP DESIGN. Karen and her dedicated team of hair and makeup artists are the real deal. Their down-to-earth approach to creating customized "looks" for any occasion is backed by years of experience and creative ingenuity. They know what works for any complexion, taste, and affair, and they know how and what to use to make certain you feel and look your absolute best. One of the many things that set Ore Makeup Design apart from others in the industry is their ability to capture each client's unique beauty in a way that is captivatingly timeless- it is their goal to blend cutting edge industry knowledge with an innovative approach to creating looks that are unforgettable. The tireless ORE pro team worked with my sister (the bride) and the entire wedding party to ensure that we were all ecstatic about our hair and makeup. My sister happens to lean towards a more subtle makeup look- during the trial session, Karen asked questions and carefully assessed what would work best in terms of a color palette and products. We all knew from the get go once we saw my sister's trial makeup reveal and "up do" that Ore was the right choice...no doubt. Rose, the hair artist, created a couple different stunning and elegant low bun styles and again, we were all in agreement that these ladies were/are the REAL MCCOYS. I prefer a more dramatic, sultry look for formal affairs and of course, this was executed to sheer perfection by Karen and Rose. They spent a great deal of time at the trial sessions and on the big day to ensure we all looked flawless and felt "wedding ready." I must mention that the products they use stay put! Your hair and makeup will look just as fresh and beautiful at the end of the night that it did at the beginning of the affair. How they manage to accomplish this so effortlessly is nothing short of magic! The ladies are true artists and the proof is in their results and the compliments we all continue to get from that very special day. When we look at the wedding photos, we are always blown away at how Ore was able to make us look and feel so incredible- a true fairytale, as my sister described it. Any anxieties you have will be swiftly diffused by these ladies' amazing sense of humor and zest for life. From the hair and makeup trials to the big day, we had what is probably the best time in the world with them laughing and dancing (they brought music to the pre-sessions and to the bridal suite on the wedding day, and we sang and busted moves and hugged each other as if we'd known each other all our lives). Rose even took the time to lace up my sister's wedding gown corset! That's right- while I was being pulled in a few directions as maid-of-honor; she without hesitation, stepped in and painstakingly laced the entire back of the gown up. Folks, if this isn't enough to make you choose Ore Makeup Design, then I don't know what is. They are simply exquisite, insanely talented and dedicated professionals. Stop your search for hair and makeup artists and go with ORE MAKEUP AND DESIGN. I GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE WOWED BEYOND YOUR GREATEST EXPECTATIONS. KAREN AND ROSE, WE THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THE MAGIC YOU MADE FOR AUDREY'S WEDDING. YOU ARE TRULY THE BEST AROUND! With love and gratitude, Lauren, Audrey, and Cindy
