He listens to all the requests and has great solutions for every problem. When I started the project all I wanted was a clean nice bathroom, but as we proceeded many structural needs were addressed - my dryer didn't work properly for longest time and it was fixed; when the floor tiles were changed, more insulation was put in place to prevent odors and noise coming from apartment below; the exhaust fan was replaced to the one that nearly makes any noise, etc. I'm very happy with Steven's work and will definitely come back!

Stan came over, saw my situation and right away knew exactly what I want. He saw that it was very narrow and said he can make it a little wider. While he was there, I mentioned that I want to have my foundation wall finished with stucco. He told me he has a guy who can do that too. Well, I got a couple of other quotes from others and I knew after that Stan was the right guy for the job. His numbers are very reasonable and I can tell he knew what he was doing. Stan has a great crew who showed up early and worked professionally. Good guys! The stairs, landing and the masonry work came out perfect!

We recently had our deck completely rebuilt by Boston Framers and we couldn't be happier with how…read moreit came out. We actually got their name directly from the deck manufacturer, who told us Boston Framers was excellent and highly recommended them. After working with them, I can see why. They started exactly when they said they would and showed up every day to keep the job moving. They even worked some weekends to get everything completed, which we really appreciated. Their carpenters were excellent. The workmanship was meticulous, the materials were all top quality, and you could tell they really cared about doing the job right. The price was very competitive, especially for the quality of work we received. I also made a few minor changes along the way, and they were very easy to work with and accommodated the changes without adding extra charges. It's not easy to find a contractor that is reliable, fairly priced, uses quality materials, and takes this much pride in their work. Boston Framers checked all those boxes for us. We're extremely happy with our new deck and would absolutely recommend Boston Framers to anyone considering a deck or other construction project. Five stars without hesitation.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS…read more I would suggest not hiring these guys it would be a big mistake. Hired for some condo renovations (750 sqft): Remove/Install flooring throughout Remove/Install kitchen cabinets Remove/Install bathroom vanity, medicine cabinet, and lights Remove a wall cabinet and prep the wall for paint Well, they started on 10/16/24, and as of today, nothing is completely finished. I had pointed out a few issues that needed addressing - flooring bumps/planks popping, cabinetary filler looks like a toddler installed, gaps between adjacent cabinets and a huge problem being the drawers on the cabinet couldn't open all the way because they hit the wall.. That issue was blamed on me because I purchased the cabinets and the walls not straight(isn't this something you check before the countertops are installed?)...and he wanted more money to fix it. Another interesting tidbit is he wanted more money to put on the cabinet hardware.. What? The list of items that weren't completed up to today was lengthy. Anyway, it came down to poor craftsmanship, lack of accountability, and everything that needed addressing was going to cost me more money. Will need to get someone in here to fix the mess he made.

We were very concerned that so many contractors would not be experienced enough to deal with the challenges that a house, built in 1753 would naturally have. Dave and Mike came into an absolute mess with our post and beam construction since the damage to the fieldstone foundation impacted the entire house. They did a fabulous job, better than any of our expectations. Whenever they encountered a problem we thought would be insurmountable, they calmly figured it out; even as our house was then effected by the Columbia gas explosion, right in the middle of construction. Dave gave us good advice, made solid suggestions on how to maximize our insurance money and was calm even when we were not. The communication was quick and clear even with the other contractors. This was an unbearable situation made bearable only because of Dave and Mike's professionalism, honesty and patience. Highest recommendation for HRH Construction
