    Italian Cold Cut Sandwich. Fabulous
    Joseph P.

It was a snowy day was out in the north shore of Boston visiting my mother on the way home I said to my wife let's go to jpace &sons and get a Italian sandwich. Well like always it was great. Braided seeded bread fresh cold cuts. Balsamic and fresh veggies and friendly service.

    Heaven.

I did a quick 180 turn around to finally visit this holy place. Was not disappointed and the food all looked delicious. Can't go wrong getting a sandwich here. Always a win.

Just bought a cake for my daughter's birthday. Cake was completely dry and the frosting was hard as hell. Couldn't eat it. Sadly will be throwing it away since it's inedible.

Stale pastry! Prices are on the high side which, you wouldn't mind if the pastry was fresh! Disgraceful

I just come if I'm in the area and need to pick up a few things. Staff is ok that I've encountered. There's obviously grocery stores that are cheaper as well. My mother who is 90 years old has been shopping at Stop and Shop for at least 30-40 years. To this day she still spends $175-$200 per week. We put in her order every week online for delivery. Stop and Shop asks for specific instructions for the driver, we fill it out every week to be delivered to her door, 2nd floor in an apartment. She also includes the tip online and the 1 time in the last 7 weeks the driver followed the instructions and my mother gave him an additional cash tip. Yes, you read that right once out of the last 7 times. Drivers have been rude and have blatantly ignored her request a couple of them just said no, but still got their online tip. Today was the last straw not only did the driver drop them in the lobby and then ignore her call. The bags were ripped and damaged. She had to go down 3 times with her small cart take the groceries out of the damaged bags an take the up with the cart. Like I said shes 90 years old with 2 bad knees., its just not right. Tomorrow, I will call again for the 8th time, I dont want a gift card, I want them to refund her $15 tip is all. We will move on from Stop and Shop. I know they really dont care, because they have enough sheep that go in there on a weekly basis. Pay their high prices to get treated in this way. I dont Shop there for my family as I said prices are high and selections are low. I have tried to convince my mother to stop shopping there and today she finally sees why. They dont care. Dont put driver instructions online if they aren't going to follow them. I am going to put this information everywhere I can. So if you have elderly parent(s) or a disabled family member. Take my advice Look elsewhere! Or do what I'm going to do, just Shop for her (NOT AT STOP AND SHOP). Dont believe what they tell you on the phone, all the fake niceties, they dont mean it its all BS.

I don't get all the nasty reviews...this place is just a normal Whole Foods. I happened to be in…read morethe area and swung by for a quick snack and some laptop time before a meeting, and it was fine. The reviews made me fear it was going to be some really tiny cramped WF like the one in Cambridge on Prospect Street which doesn't even have public bathrooms or tables to eat at, but no this is just a run-of-the-mill small/medium WF similar to the ones in Arlington, Medford, Winchester or Somerville. Not a great big nice one like at Fresh Pond or on River Street but nothing I'd particularly complain about either. Puh-leez. Caveat: I am not rich/dumb enough to do ALL my grocery shopping here, just a handful of specific things that I can't find anywhere else, e.g. Highlawn Farms grassfed milk. That's what Market Basket is for, folks---stop whining about the prices here, doh it's called "Whole Paycheck" for a reason.

I came in mainly to drop off an Amazon return. A man walked in right before me with his two children and headed toward the line. There was an employee working near that section, but she was busy scanning items on the other side. I went straight to the return machine and started doing my return when, all of a sudden, another employee came storming out and yelled at the customer and his two kids. From what I could tell, the kids had apparently walked behind the counter, but I honestly wasn't sure exactly what had happened. What made me uncomfortable was the level of hostility from the employee. Thankfully, the customer stayed calm and didn't get loud in return. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this location now. It really reminded me how important acknowledging customers is. If one employee is too busy to the point where they can't keep an eye on the area or communicate with customers, there should be someone else available as backup. I'm not saying the customer or the kids were necessarily in the right, because I don't know the full situation. I just think the situation could have been handled in a way that felt less hostile. It definitely left an uncomfortable impression on me.

This Wegmans is located right next to Kohl's…read more I just love Wegmans and wished there was one back home. This store reminds me of a cross between Whole Foods and Sprouts. And I have always been lucky to visit when the rooster would come out and crow. The rooster by the entrance is like a cuckoo clock and pop out of the barn and crow 3 minutes to the hour. But I did read online that not every Wegmans has a rooster in their store (but all the ones I have visited around the US all have one). I really find that rooster crowing to be funny and enjoyable and always feel like it's official when we hear the rooster crow. My husband and I stopped by this store yesterday evening. We ended up purchasing some vegetables to make at our Airbnb while visiting the greater Boston area. We also purchased some fruit but decided to purchase our protein at another market because the prices seemed a bit more expensive for such a small selection of seafood and and poultry. We ended up going through the self check out line but found that the price for the red onion was more than the price I saw on the sign when I bagging one in one of the produce bags. The employee had to call over another employee to help us. Which this other employee came over right away and changed the price for us right away. He apologized and thanked us for waiting. Service was friendly and we had a positive shopping experience. So I am really surprised to see such an overall poor rating (2.7 stars with over 85+ reviews at the time of this review). If I wasn't being as picky about my current diet, I would have most likely picked up one of their delicious desserts from the bakery section (as I used to on my previous visits to Wegmans). If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regular.
