First time going here with my daughter and I'm definitely coming back, my nail tech was Jenny, she was so nice and helpful. Pretty much she put me on a new favorite! I usually get gel sets with a rounded square tip, and this time i went with a soft pink and white hombre dip. She suggested a rounded coffin tip and I absolutely love it! I have big hands and have always been afraid of them looking so ugly but this finish makes my hands look dainty and pretty! My daughter wanted some nail art but the tech didn't do it, (that's the reason for the 4 stars.) and she felt bad to let him know, she told me after the fact. She is 12, i told her to take this as a learning experience and to say something next time

***Update from 1 star to 3 ***Sam apologized for the miscommunication, credited $20, and personally re-did my mothers pedicure. She's happy and loving her fuchsia pink toe nails! Unfortunately the experience left too much of a bitter taste to return for future services but wish them well in their business. Thank you.*** *Today I came in for an appt @ 3:45 w my mom for two pedicures...they had us choose our polish, and sat us down...both nail techs then proceeded to sell us on the "deluxe pedi" a $45 ea. charge... We agreed sure.... Problem- So my mom unknowingly chose a "gel" polish that's supposedly last longer and is no chip per the receptionist. Funny enough the nail tech didn't mention or make my mom aware of the up charge for choosing a "gel polish" that again is suppose to last longer and be a no chip. It would've been nice to make us aware instead of taking advantage from our lack of knowledge of which section was the regular polish versus which was the no chip...it wasn't until it was time to pay that to our surprise the receptionist drops an unexpected total...the receptionist explains, and my mom and I looked at each with confusion. But still paid no mind and paid anyway...WITH THE ADDITION OF THE TIP! -Shortly after we arrive back home, my mom is getting ready and she lets me know somehow during her shower that one of her toes has already chipped!! I see her disappointment as she has plans tonight and therefore the only reason why she went and got a pedi....Seeing how upset and disappointed she is I'll be calling tomorrow for a refund, or an exchange to redo my mothers pedicure completely with a different and honest nail tech. This is unprofessional and the nail tech and receptionist completely took advantage of us this afternoon. We'll see you tomorrow morning to rectify this problem.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I'm honestly so upset at the fact that I just paid $40 for a full set acrylic nails to look like trash. I asked for all matte nails even the sparkly one on my ring finger (which I did the time before) and she kept saying no it'll look bad but isn't it always what the customer wants? Like they look bad all together! Asked for a somewhat long length with square but more rounded edges and they look like little boxes. Not worth my time or money here and super disappointed. The manager Sam did an amazing job on my sisters nails and they lady who did mine didn't seem to care one bit, she just wanted me out the door. I just paid to get a full set to have them taken off after thanksgiving. I don't recommend this place to anyone. 11/21/19 the photo on the left is what I got done and the photo on the right was what it was suppose to look like

lady who did my nails was very nice but she made me bleed multiple times. nails are also different lengths and i spent 2 hours in this salon. i was supposed to get my nails done at 1;45 but i got into the chair at 2:20. my nail tech kept getting up and waxing people and doing other peoples nails and not putting me first. i've gone her many times before with my sister and this same nail tech made her bleed. although there are some very good nail techs i would not recommend this place.

I love this salon! I popped in on Saturday last minute but it's now going to be my new go-to. I have very poor nails, they're flat so getting acrylic tips is a challenge for some nail techs but Jen (I think was her name) went the extra mile and made them perfect for me. 10/10 recommend. Amazing customer service.

Please take your time and money else where! My sister and I were in a time crunch and had little time to get our nails and toes done! Usually we would go to Cali Nails in Gurnee, but since I had to be at work, we opted for this place! I've been here before, the previous time, I got my nails done, and they turned out fantastic! But my sisters nails turned out HORRIBLE! Uneven, short, disgusting! So this time, I decided to get my nails done, and my sister decided to get her toes done! My sister opted for a clear coat on her toes. The lady didn't even take her previous nail polish off (as shown) LIKE COME ON! My nails... uneven, and streaked. The lady got upset at me for wanting acrylic and not gel. Like the color I wanted, I only wanted for a week so I thought acrylic was best! She charged me $45 for a acrylic set.. LETS SAY IT TOGETHER!! I GOT SCAMMED !!! Streaks on my nails, uneven nails. My sister got a disgusting pedicure. + they reuse nail files.. I do not reccomend this place! I ended up getting my acrylic nails taken off a few hours later to avoid infection!

I've been to J Nails a few times and had good pedicure experiences with Nancy. On June 15, a different person did my pedicure and I cannot be more disappointed. She grated my skin to the point of drawing blood. I had a one inch gash on my toe that was very painful and bled for hours. The girl did not even apologize. I did say something when paying for my pedicure (yes, I was still charged) about what to do to keep from getting an infection and the girl semi-rolled her eyes and said "use hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin" It still is not completely healed three months later--the girl butchered my toe!

This is my place! I always get my nails done with Tim. I have been going to this salon for years. I moved to Milwaukee and I still wouldn't change my nail salon for the world! Tim knows exactly how I like my nails and the staff is all super friendly! Their receptionist Daisy, is the best as well! She's my go to when I don't know what color to get! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

They were nice, but my mani massage was literally 30 seconds each hand and as you can see, my polish is nearly all off after 4 days.
