The vibe was good the wings are amazing! The service was above average and pleasantly surprised with the friendly atmosphere. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is the music!!! The ppl working here are barely 21 and the music surely reflects that. Everyone drinking was older generation for sure so the music needs to match. I don't want to come to a bar and listen to soft music I want ying yang twins to the windows to the walls! But I'd come back just for the wings best in the Pacific Northwest!

Been driving past this place for 2 years thinking it looked like a really cool spot to grab a drink. And boy was I right. The place feels a lot bigger inside than it looks on the outside. The parking seems small but fits a good amount of cars. The bar had great lighting, and when you walk in- to your right there's 2 pool tables and to your left there's another room with electric darts all along the wall. We ordered mac & cheese, 12pc honey chipotle wings and don julio w/ grapefruit juice. Mac & cheese came in fried bites form and it was crunchy and cheesy. The wings were a great size, large and covered in sauce. I'd definitely come back for the wings! Bartender was a sweetheart, and made sure we had everything we needed before we digged in. Large space, bathrooms are clean, a lot of tables and chairs. Great spot to grab a drink, some food and enjoy the vibe! They have TouchTune Jukebox- download the app on your phone for easy music choosing.

Only here you can experience this vodka!

The drinks were great, not overly strong, but by no means weak. I had two martinis and my husband had a whiskey and coke. Our server was so kind and checked in regularly. He seemed really knowledgeable about the food and there was no lag time. My baked potato was amazing with all the fixings- cheese, sour cream, green onions. I appreciated he mashed it up a little before serving (little things I notice). Steak was easy to cut and went down smooth. Would definitely come again!

I really liked the painting on the wall! The bathrooms were super clean. My Shirley Temple was amazing. My fish and chips we're so crisp and crunchy. The steak cooked medium rare was amazing. I couldn't believe it. For dessert we had cheesecake and lava cake and they even gave us kids a small ice cream with chocolate syrup. I loved it so much here I would definitely come back and would recommend it to everyone. 5 stars.

These are the best cheese curds ever bc the batter isn't heavy like other cheese curds I've had. It's tempura battered so it's light and you can taste the cheese more. The jalapeño strawberry dip and ranch are good dips, but try them together and it will blow your mind. The fried green beans were okay. They did have a heavier batter on them and I wish they had the same batter the cheese curds had. The spicy dip was good! The rosemary popcorn was delicious! It had just enough butter and the perfect amount of rosemary where it's not overpowering. Once you get to the bottom, there's tons of butter and you just dip and soak it up with the popcorn. Also, PATTI was AMAZING!!!! She checked in on us throughout the evening. She's very sweet and I will be back bc of Patti!

Parking was free and plenty of it on the streets. I visited on Super Bowl Sunday, about 2-3hrs before the game to get seats. This was a good idea because there was only a handful of seats available. We were lucky enough to get a table for 4 of us. The hosts were very welcoming and go us seated at the bar when it was only two of us. When we informed them about an hour prior to kick off that we needed two more seats, they did their best to get us seated. It was very kind of them to even look around, let alone actually find us space. This was very much appreciated. The first hour or so, when there was only two of us, we had a few beers, the cheese curds and the chicken fried steak with potatoes. The beers were exactly what you think they would taste like and they weren't terribly expensive which was nice. The cheese curds were a great shareable item, good flavor and a fair amount of them. The chicken fried steak was good, nothing crazy, but not below average. Portion was good sand it was cooked right to have that nice crips on the outside with the gravy poured over top. I think the only thing I wasn't that big of a fan of was the potatoes, I should've opted for the tots or hash potatoes instead, but I'll have to try it again. Yes, I would recommend this place. Seems like a good place to meet with friends for a game and meet friends. I almost forgot to mention they have an outside area in the back was is covered so there's more than enough space to maneuver and enjoy your time.

Our incredible server Trey soon came over and helped us decide on some drinks, as we were debating between a few. The menu has so many options, it was hard to just choose one! We soon put our appetizer orders in, as well as our entrees. The calamari tasted fresh and crispy, what's not to like? The oysters I was recommended, tasted sooo fresh! The smoked salmon deviled egg was something I've never thought would work, but it tasted amazing. You can never go wrong with fish and chips, which tasted great! Our server was so sweet and was very attentive throughout the whole night. Dessert time came around and Trey recommended this Washington berry pie, we were sold! It came out deliciously warm with some ice cream on top, which was the cherry on top for our night!! In my book - the staff of Duke's of south Lake Union are a solid 5 stars rating. And, the food is a 3'ish rating. Put together- it's a place that is worth visiting if for nothing else than the amazing staff. Oh, and the view on Lake Union is also really great, especially if you can grab a table near one of the patio heaters.

There were 15 people on the list to sing, but if you tip the karaoke handler, you get moved up in the order. Our friend gave him $20 and suddenly we were up next! We got some T Swift going with a little Our Song and all of a sudden the bar was vibing. Karaoke with good friends and the right song is chef's kiss- perfection. I loved that people were getting into each other's songs and having a fun time. The thing about karaoke though is that the vibes can change real fast! Great song and everyone is in. Painfully song and it is real painful. A lot of the karaoke mics weren't working which also added to making it a little awkward, but people made do. Haven't been to karaoke in a bar in a long time, but it seems like a might be a thing on a Ballard weekend given we walked past a few bars doing it. Overall, fun time made most memorable with friends!

I made a reservation ahead of time, but when we got there around 8 pm we realized we probably didn't need one because it was seat yourself and still pretty open. No complaints though, it made it easy to grab a table and settle in. The vibe was cool. Definitely a sports bar feel with TVs around, and as the night went on the DJ started getting set up which I can imagine makes it a fun spot on a Friday night for people meeting up after work or hanging out with friends. We decided to share a few things so we could try a little bit of everything. We ordered the catfish bites, lemon pepper wings, garlic parmesan wings, and macaroni and cheese. I'll start with the positives because the service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. Food-wise, it just didn't totally hit for me. The catfish bites had a really tasty batter, but the texture threw me off a little. I personally like my catfish cooked a little harder, and these were a bit soft for my liking. The lemon pepper wings were a little too salty for me, and the wings themselves weren't cooked quite the way I like them. I tend to like my wings cooked a little harder, so these felt a bit soft and bulky to me (if that makes sense). The garlic parmesan wings were okay flavor-wise, but still similar in texture. The macaroni and cheese was okay. Nothing bad, just pretty standard. The menu itself has a good mix of comfort food and bar favorites like chicken and waffles, shrimp & grits, burger & fries....so there are definitely options to try. Overall, the service were great, the vibe was cool and I can definitely see this being a fun spot once the DJ gets going and the place fills up. The food just didn't quite land for me personally this time. I gave it 3 stars, but if Yelp allowed half stars it would probably be closer to a 3.5 for me. I'd still be open to coming back and trying a few other things on the menu.
