Special shout out to STACY from J.Crew Factory, Northborough location! I am not sure if you will see this Stacy, but you are one of the most helpful people I have come across in a while! I went in to the store with 2 asks - 1. Return/ exchange a specific belt (children section) with a bigger size. Stacy was kind and professional enough to help me with the process - nothing exceptional on her part in terms of addressing the request, right? But what makes it special is how she made me feel! She is an absolute star!! 2. Exchanging a kid's dress (NWT, still on the hanger) that was out of the return window and probably a discontinued style. I wasn't too optimistic about my options but Stacy went out of her way to not just help me look for a similar style in the right size, but also got the required approvals to initiate my return, which I was totally not expecting tbh! I hope the management knows they have found the right staff and should do everything to keep you! Thank you Stacy - you are amazing!! read more

I went to this store for the first time the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the entire store was 50% off plus they were handing out coupons for an additional 20% off your purchase. I ended up getting a nice pencil skirt. , sweater and statement necklace and my fiance got a few things, all for $130. We went in again over the weekend and it was terrible. I know it's after Christmas, so the pickings were slim, but I literally couldn't find ANYTHING in my size. It was so frustrating. J Crew is ridiculous w their "vanity sizing." read more

Went to this J.Crew Factory store today, Memorial Day, probably one of the busiest days post COVID restrictions. The place was packed, but the cashiers were incredible. They were pushing people through with speed and grace. I only had an exchange and was out in about 10 minutes. Couldn't be more impressed with their service. read more

Okay inventory, but too tiny to accommodate the crowds. Every time I walk in here, the lines are so long, and it's difficult to maneuver around the hoards of people. The men's and women's sides are separated by more merchandise down the middle, so it can be a pain to walk down the aisles with people looking and aren't paying attention to what's going on around them. Also, there is virtually no space for a line, so people are often waiting around the merchandise in the center of the space, blocking those who want to look. I think J.Crew Factory needs to get more space and perhaps trade places with the LOFT outlet. read more

When I went to the front for an exchange, I was told I owed money now in order to pay for the price change, even though I had received mine in the mail the day before. The cashier asked for a price adjustment, not an exchange, to which the manager said no, and that I still owed money. When my mom started explaining the situation that we wanted a size exchange to an Asian manager, he rudely stuck his hand in my mom's face to silence her. **Future piece of advice: Do not stick your hand in a woman's face.** Additionally, the workers were rude and never even greeted us, they just watched us shop. I love Assembly Row, but will not be returning to this Jcrew. Staff is incredibly rude and made me not want to shop the sales. Manager needs more training. read more

This store needs a new manager to fire everyone and start over. 99.9% of my closet is from J.Crew. Not the factory, though, so I wanted to see it in person before trying anything online. Big mistake... when I stopped into this store to check it out--- I don't even care about the clothing. The worst customer service. This is sad- how do you mess up an OUTLET store. This isn't expensive stuff, this is OUTLET MERCHANDISE. This isn't the real deal, so get off your high-horses, associates. They all are snobby and rude and loudly "over it" (the crowds? the mess?). As other folks have mentioned, the quality is pretty terrible here. Whatever I tried on puckered in the wrong places, or bothered my skin because of the cheap fabric; the shoes smelled so chemically that I couldn't imagine wearing them, and I felt really sad about whoever had to make them. Prices are jacked up-- $65 for a super thin, unflattering button down shirt, $100 for uncomfortable shoes that seem like they'll last a month-- but then the whole store is suddenly 50% off for Labor Day and you think-- yeah! Look at the deal I'm getting! The tactics feel transparent. I walked out without a single thing, and won't be going back. read more

Unbelievable. There's over 15 people in line and there are two out of the four registers in use. While salespeople walk around the he store arranging clothes. If you can avoid this store go to the one in Cambridgeside or Wrentham. Terrible experience every time. I don't know why I come back. read more

Just what you'd expect from a factory store--the sale section is a mess, the staff is helpful and slightly overwhelmed and often arranges clothes rather than mans the checkout. (It's the JV team here) The items otherwise are well laid out, the prices are reasonable, the clothes are lesser quality than regular J Crew, but that's to be expected these days. They always have jewelry, socks, shoes, men's and women's clothing and accessories. I got great stocking stuffers there! read more

I buy all my fast casual, casual, and business casual pants here because the selection and fit are always excellent. I've almost never walked in here and not walked out with something. They pack a lot into a small store, and you'll typically be charmed either with a color you hadn't considered before (pants) or something just quirky enough to lend a dash of personality to even the most routine clothing item (like the solar system blue tie I snagged off a mannequin). Spend your money here, you won't regret it. read more

How is it that there are so few reviews? This place is packed! They need more dressing rooms and the checkout line is WAY too long. I wouldn't mind except the clothes aren't up to par as the regular stores. You can tell this stuff was made directly for the outlets. The quality isn't even close. Super rude, condescending sales staff. I visited the store to return an item purchased online and was asked no less than five times if I was sure it was never worn. Finally after my proclamation, "I swear it has never been worn" the two women working the counter exchanged doubting looks and then begrudgingly processed my return. read more

I had a necklace from JCrew Factory that broke. I was super disappointed because I really loved it. I went to the factory store and they looked and looked for a replacement, but it was a no go. I guess other people love it too and they were completely sold out. Of course I didn't keep my receipt! No problem though, they gave me a full refund and I bought a necklace I actually like even better. Great customer service! read more

I went in around 2 pm and the store was pretty much empty. There were store associates all over and not one person greeted me, all they did was give me odd looks as I walked around the store. I was a guy looking for at women clothes. Retail 101 ... he probably is looking for a gift and needs help. (Hence guys are dumb so anything you recommend I would of probably purchased) instead I left the store with no purchase and you gained a 1 star review on yelp. 80% of the staff there doesn't give a crap about this review and the 20% (management) only cares because they might get a slap on the wrist by the DM (if he/she cares) Oh retail world how you have changed!
