My tenants reported a problem with the kitchen sink faucet -- it fell apart. I was on vacation so called J Cor as they were usually on site at my condo complex. The price was disclosed over the phone and agreed to. As it turns out, the spray head separated from the hose. A simple fix I have done in the past, just need to screw it back in; a ten minute job. J Cor billed me the agreed upon $200.25 for the 10 minute non- emergency Monday visit PLUS a $10 fee for using a credit card. and they were on site so no travel time involved. A price decrease to reflect the time and effort for the job seems to have been in order. This company might be great for big, complicated jobs, I can't say but do not use them for simple jobs or basic plumbing. read more

I would never recommend J-cor. they have been doing work in our complex so I asked them to look at my Bathroom. I had them take a look at my shower hot water and drain in my unit. They turned on the faucets and found there was no hot water Issue. They did not snake the drain and took some hair out of the drain cap. They charged me 325 dollars. I used Jared to replace 2 lights in my apartment. Now, that may seem like an easy job but I have 20 foot ceilings with absolutely no access for a ladder of that size, plus the lights I was replacing were switched out with honkin 60 pound crystal chandeliers. All the other quotes I received never came through or laughed at me/wanted to charge $600 or more. He made it happen. He also re-positioned my spotlights onto the artwork on my walls rather than just random directions like they were before. He's also going to do some custom loft work for me, and I know it will turn out great! I was looking for a backyard landscaping quote and Jared responded to my post on a Facebook community post. We scheduled a time for him to come out but he called to push back the time with only an hour notice. After finally coming out, measuring areas of the yards, taking photos, and talking to us about plans he never followed through with an estimate or plan (it's been a month). I texted him and my husband called him, he never returned our calls, my text or got back to us. It's one thing if you're busy and can't get to it, it's another thing to completely ignore a potential client. Jared is a life saver. After yesterday's torrential rains, my roof sprung a leak. I made many phone calls and left many messages with other companies. The best I got was "we might be able to put a tarp on next week".
