I would never recommend J-cor. they have been doing work in our complex so I asked them to look at my Bathroom. I had them take a look at my shower hot water and drain in my unit. They turned on the faucets and found there was no hot water Issue. They did not snake the drain and took some hair out of the drain cap. They charged me 325 dollars. And considering they are at our compleex every week it was not to make a service call read more

J Cor - General Contractors Near Me

My tenants reported a problem with the kitchen sink faucet -- it fell apart. I was on vacation so called J Cor as they were usually on site at my condo complex. The price was disclosed over the phone and agreed to. As it turns out, the spray head separated from the hose. A simple fix I have done in the past, just need to screw it back in; a ten minute job. J Cor billed me the agreed upon $200.25 for the 10 minute non- emergency Monday visit PLUS a $10 fee for using a credit card. and they were on site so no travel time involved. A price decrease to reflect the time and effort for the job seems to have been in order. This company might be great for big, complicated jobs, I can't say but do not use them for simple jobs or basic plumbing. read more

I recently completed a bedroom/bathroom remodel with J Cor Construction and I am thrilled with the results. I met with Jared to discuss the project and I received a quote from him in a few days that was incredibly detailed. He was always available to answer questions throughout the project. The workers who came to my home were great. All of them professional and talented in their respective work. Luis, in particular, was a pleasure to have in my home and I was so impressed by everything he did. I would highly recommend J Cor Construction and would definitely use this company for future projects. Thank you, Jared. read more

It's never nice to know your project isn't "worth it"for someone to take on. It is worth to other companies though. Thanks for nothing

Met with Jerad to build our patio cover. Showed up on time for the quote. Looking forward to the final quote so we can get started.

We hired Jared after receiving numerous bids for our kitchen remodel and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From the beginning Jared was professional and a pleasure to be around. He did an excellent job at communicating through the process and definitely gave us complete confidence that he had our best interests in mind. We are so happy with our beautiful kitchen and have definitely found our go to GC. Thanks for everything! read more

I used Jared to replace 2 lights in my apartment. Now, that may seem like an easy job but I have 20 foot ceilings with absolutely no access for a ladder of that size, plus the lights I was replacing were switched out with honkin 60 pound crystal chandeliers. All the other quotes I received never came through or laughed at me/wanted to charge $600 or more. He made it happen. He also re-positioned my spotlights onto the artwork on my walls rather than just random directions like they were before. He's also going to do some custom loft work for me, and I know it will turn out great! I recommend him to everyone who asks for handyman work all the way up to custom projects. 10-Star rating! read more

Branden was great, pleasant and professional. I would ask him again to fix a few more things in the house soon.

Jared and his team (including Luis!) are so professional and responsive. I am so pleased with my new shower. They were able to install a new, much more complicated fixture set-up and it works perfectly. Unexpected Issues always come up during construction and they helped us work through it seamlessly. I also valued and appreciated their aesthetic recommendations (Luis helped me select nicer shower shelves and Luis and Jared helped me upgrade my bathtub, too). The best endorsement I can give is that I am and will continue to give J Cor my business. read more

As most projects do, our project started out small and snowballed into a much bigger complete master bath remodel, based on our request. Jared and his crew coordinated everything ( demo, electrical, plumbing, tile, molding, etc.), provided guidance, and the final project was better than we imagined. Crew was awesome and cleaned up when finished.Jared was just a text away to answer questions. Highly recommend J Cor! read more

I was looking for a backyard landscaping quote and Jared responded to my post on a Facebook community post. We scheduled a time for him to come out but he called to push back the time with only an hour notice. After finally coming out, measuring areas of the yards, taking photos, and talking to us about plans he never followed through with an estimate or plan (it's been a month). I texted him and my husband called him, he never returned our calls, my text or got back to us. It's one thing if you're busy and can't get to it, it's another thing to completely ignore a potential client. The least he could do is at least tell us he wasn't available or couldn't do the job instead of leaving us hanging for a month. Really unprofessional and a waste of our time. Not happy about this experience at all. read more

See Christine S review below. Completely agree. HORRIBLE communication, lots of excuses. Very unprofessional. Cannot comment on work, as we could never get them to communicate clearly. If communication this bad, can only imagine bad "customer service" if under contract. My opinion of course, but beyond bad at return conversations. Seems to be a selective pattern. read more

J Cor Construction did a tremendous job on my bathroom. They worked fast, produced beautiful results, and were great to work with. We hired Jared and his crew for a redesign of our upstairs loft area and they did an AMAZING job. Their pricing was fair, they were always on time and finished the job within the time frame promised. Jared was great communicating with us about when different things would be completed (paint, construction, etc) and made sure to address any concerns we had. We highly recommend J Cor construction and plan to use them in the future for a kitchen remodel. read more

So I had a pretty huge decision to make- who do I hire for the remodeling at my new office? It was my first time embarking on this kind of a project and I was pretty worried. Thank God I hired Jared and his crew, they were EVERYTHING I had hoped for when hiring a GC he truly is my dream come true. Jared always stayed in touch he returned my calls the same day and explained the project's ins and outs. They delivered on time- the walls was built beautifully and below what we had budgeted. When we needed carpeting pulled up he and his guys squeezed the project into their busy schedule and once again delivered beyond my expectations Jared and all of his employees are very courteous and honestly a pleasure to work with. They were best, clean and organized I was left extremely satisfied with their work and since they remained on schedule, the rest of the remodel went smoothly. I cannot recommend J COR CONSTRUCTION enough. They have become my go to guys for future jobs and all my GC referrals go to these guys. My office looks beautiful thanks to them! Thank you Jared my heart is happy and I appreciate your commitment to excellence. read more

Jared is a life saver. After yesterday's torrential rains, my roof sprung a leak. I made many phone calls and left many messages with other companies. The best I got was "we might be able to put a tarp on next week". Today I found Jared's number and he was able to fit me into his schedule even though it meant coming late in the evening and far from his usual area. When he got here he had the job done extremely fast and he was friendly while he did the work needed (my 7 year old was thoroughly entertained). I'll definitely keep him in mind for future work, I know this house needs it. read more
