I have tried J.Co before in the Philippines, but do not recall how I felt about it, so I had to give them another try. Donuts are SUPER rare in Hong Kong (actually proper donuts DO NO EXIST in this town) and one of my favorite treats so I was looking forward to this visit. There is a line out the door because this is still a pretty new store, but be patient, it will move pretty fast. And yes, there will be some donut flavors that are sold out but some of them will be filled back in -- the staff is constantly refilling the shelves with select flavors (assuming with bestselling flavors). You can actually see the team behind the display preparing and decorating the donuts, so they are fresh. While they are fresh, I think their donuts are too sweet and pretty flat. I was hoping for plush, fluffy, soft yeast donuts. They do have some fun flavors that may be worth trying since you can't get them anywhere else, like the Avocado Dicaprio. What is good here is their coffee! I ordered the Avocado Coffee Frappe, where else in the world can you order this? It was actually really delicious. It was smooth and tasted like a coffee ice cream milk shake. I'm thankful to have a donut shop in HK, while I wish the donuts were fluffier and less sweet, I will be back for a rare treat and a coffee frappe.

The quirky, designer donuts look great. I got the "White Desert" donut (with coconut on top and cream filling) which was delicious; quite sweet enough but not disgusting-diabetes-bomb sweet. Also, the Americano coffee was better than average. I think the one-star review here was left by a person with food or emotional problems...

    Absolutely beautiful and adorable donuts!

Is this place real? Coz' the donuts are out of this world amazing! Walked past this cozy cafe and just can't help but to try one of their enticing donuts. All the donuts have super cute and funny names; definitely worth reading. I got the cookies and cream donut and it was so fluffy and soft. I almost teared up with that first bite. Not to mention the staff at the cafe were super sweet and patient. Love it!

Missing Hong Kong and My Cup of Tea was definitely one of the spots that I will remember. It is a…read moreplace I kept recommending to friends to try and will definitely go back to one day. The two photos are from different trips, but I have tried a few things here. I have had the tomato beef macaroni, curry fish balls, French toast, and pineapple butter buns. Everything was amazing, and I think their tomato beef macaroni is my favorite here. Their Hong Kong milk tea is also perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. It is not too bitter or too sweet, just perfect (I like sweet things but not too sweet). The restaurant is a bit tight, but they do offer takeout. Even when it gets busy, customers are usually friendly and quick, especially if they see a long line and they are finishing up soon.

There's only about 20 seats, most of which are either bar seating or tiny tables), and it's incredibly cramped, but there's a quick turnaround. You can order to go for a faster line too. We ordered the milk tea, satay beef sandwich, bbq pork macaroni soup, truffle egg sandwich, and egg pineapple bao. The sandwiches were decidedly average, but we really enjoyed the egg pineapple bun! And you definitely need to get the milk tea here. The hot one is smaller and comes with condensed milk, while the cold version is larger but comes without condensed milk. Both are extremely concentrated, but delicious. If you're sensitive to caffeine though, it'll keep you up. Best of all, everything was so cheap - 160 HKD (about $20 USD). Highly recommend checking this place out!
