I turned in two button-down dress shirts, both needing the body and arms altered. The alterations were 5-stars. Both my shirts fit perfect now. Also, the turnaround time was about 5-6 days. Now, the issue and reason for the 2-stars is twofold. First, for two shirts to be altered is was an even $100! That's $50 a shirt, $25 for the body and $25 for the sleeves. Wow! Second, the establishment "lost" my shirts! We went back two different times to ask again and again. Finally, somehow, they found them. Not only did they lose them and tell us that they had no record of the shirts, even though we had a ticket, but they also didn't offer any type of compensation or anything. This experience has truly made me gun shy about ever going back.

Jenny's - Same day service for alterations, dry cleaning, name tapes, wash-n-fold. On Saturday: I bought a suit at the MCEX and needed to have it tailored for an event the next day. Purchasing the suit a little after noon, I asked my salesperson where I could get same-day alterations. She suggested Jenny's in Q-Town. I took the suit directly to Jenny's. They marked it for alterations and promised to have it ready before they closed for the day. Sure enough, I called ahead and they said it was ready. I stopped by, tried it on and it fit fine! Their rate was a bit pricey, but perhaps not for same day rush service. While there, I saw dozens and dozens of military (Marine) uniforms being tailored by the 4 employees working at the time. Obviously this is one of the better tailoring shops in Q-Town. Cash only. Located about a block from the train station. Curbside parking meters - 25¢ for 30 minutes.

So, that was a waste of time and I never got my skirt altered as it was too late to try another place in town. Dishonest service is the worst kind of non-service. The woman there was very nice and took the time to properly measure me. She tapered and hemmed my suit pants so they no longer looked baggy, and the fit came out perfect. Turnaround time was about a week, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of work. I also had several shirts dry cleaned, and they came out excellent. Crisp, clean, and ready to wear.
