I turned in two button-down dress shirts, both needing the body and arms altered. The alterations were 5-stars. Both my shirts fit perfect now. Also, the turnaround time was about 5-6 days. Now, the issue and reason for the 2-stars is twofold. First, for two shirts to be altered is was an even $100! That's $50 a shirt, $25 for the body and $25 for the sleeves. Wow! Second, the establishment "lost" my shirts! We went back two different times to ask again and again. Finally, somehow, they found them. Not only did they lose them and tell us that they had no record of the shirts, even though we had a ticket, but they also didn't offer any type of compensation or anything. This experience has truly made me gun shy about ever going back.

He is extremely rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately this happened right before our PCS date. They outsource their dry cleaning so my coat could be anywhere. I have received $0 in reimbursement and can't even get the owner/manager to call me back. It wasn't just me because shortly after my incident another customer brought a 44R that was not his either. Aside from this the Marine Shop employees have endless reports of shrinkage caused by them.

But again, when I came by the store he/she was not there. I have now had to reorder the suit pants and vest from the tailor who created the suit prior, so am out the $100 he has graciously agreed to charge me to remake the 2 pieces to match. During the fitting, she pinned the dresses while I was wearing them, quoted the prices, and told me they would be ready within five days. When I returned to pick them up, the seamstress was not working that day--she is only there three days a week. I assumed the alterations had been completed correctly and took the dresses home without trying them on, since there would have been no one available to address any issues at that time. Once home, I tried on both dresses and found that neither had been taken in enough. They were still noticeably loose in multiple areas. I returned with both dresses on the seamstress's next scheduled workday and showed her the excess material. At first, she insisted that she had completed the work as requested. However, after I demonstrated how loose the dresses still were, she agreed that they needed additional alterations. Despite acknowledging that more work was needed, she wanted to charge me an additional fee to correct the incomplete alterations. The original alteration prices were already higher than what the dresses themselves had cost, so I was extremely disappointed that I was being asked to pay even more for work that should have been done correctly the first time. She consulted with her manager, but the process took a long time and ultimately no solution, refund, adjustment, or goodwill offer was provided. I left very disappointed. My family and I have used this dry cleaner for years, but this was our first experience with the seamstress--and it will be our last.

I received notice that my suit was ready for pick up and went to pick up my suit. When I got there I found that it had not been dry cleaned, but instead had a rejection label on it. When I asked what happened, the clerk stated that it had pet hair on it. In looking at the suit, there was no pet hair on it, only fabric lint. I then noticed that the back of the suit was covered in thick dryer lint. It looked as though they had dropped it on the floor in dryer lint and then rejected it because it was too much work to clean. I now still have a funeral to go to with no suit and not enough time to take it to a real dry cleaner. Also their machines are down frequently and so using this location has been unreliable. Go somewhere else that takes care of their machines and your clothes, because this location does neither.
