After they ruined several pairs of suit pants and dress shirts I went down the street. Would not recommend using these folks

I don't want to give this place any stars but you have to in order to write a review!! NEVERV TAKE…read moreYOUR SHOES TO THIS PLACE!! I took a pair of shoes to have the elastic remove from the strap because it kept slipping off my heel, a simple task right?? It was on July 25, 2026 & had to pay upfront $30 which was excessive but I needed it done! The woman who works there her name is Cynthia has the personality of a Rattlesnake! She rude & just plain nasty & unpleasant! Tells me that it will take approximately 60 days? Right away I thought it was a joke!! This is at the most a half hour job & I told her I needed them before that so she said around 45 days which is still crazy. I waited went back twice hoping they would be there early NOPE! Finally I go back after the 45 days & was told they were not ready! I was pleasant but insisted I needed the shoes immediately!! I get the shoes 2 days after the promised date, no apology & then she tries to imitate me & we had a few choice words! The repair is the worst job I have ever, ever seen! I have never met people like this & am shocked that they remain in business!! This place needs to be investigated because there has to be something else going on there!! Don't use this place because they have absolutely no clue how to repair shoes or run a business!!!!!!

I had heel covers replaced on two pairs of leather boots and added sole pads to one pair. They were…read morepolite and upfront about cost and time. It took several weeks and it was expensive but I get it that it's done by hand and takes time. When I went to pick up (they did call to let me know the boots were ready) they were closed due to illness. When I picked up it was clear the sole employee there was still sick so I stayed as far away as possible as they weren't masked and neither was I. The work looked okay - one pair had a tear in the heel leather. In the old days when shoes were repaired they would give a basic polish after the work but it wasn't the case here. The work has extended the life of both pairs and that's the point as they are well made boots expensive to replace, so consider the return on investment if you want work done.

Every fashion-maven knows that finding the perfect shoe at the right price is a Cinderella moment…read more Once this match made in heaven occurs, savoring your designer shoes requires researching the best cobbler who will take care of your red-soled babies like his own. Well, I've found the best cobbler on the 2nd floor, over the McDonald's in Tyson's Corner Mall. This place can repair, protect and revitalize your shoes. From giving your designer digs a rubber or their interesting shiny red sole to new welting for your cowboy kickers to stain protecting. They do it all and quickly.

I stopped by The Shoe Shoppe in Tysons because I have a pair of slingback heels that I love, but…read morethe back strap constantly slips off my foot and makes them almost impossible to walk in. I really wanted to wear them to my cousins wedding and this shop came recommended. I originally thought the strap needed to be shortened, but the staff suggested a different fix. They told me that adding a pad under my foot and a non-slip band on the strap would solve the issue. It helped a little, but not completely leaving me somewhat disappointed. In addition to not receiving a complete fix, what really disappointed me was the service or lack thereof. The man working there barely looked up from what he was doing and never asked me to try on the shoe to see the problem for himself. He gave short, vague suggestions and seemed uninterested in actually helping. I had to walk back and forth to the shelves three separate times to find the products he mentioned, rather than him taking a moment to show me where they were. The whole interaction felt dismissive and rushed. The shop itself is tucked away inside Tysons Mall, so it is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. While it is convenient if you are already nearby, I would not make a special trip back. For a store that specializes in shoes, I expected more attention and care. The experience left me unimpressed and still struggling with the same pair of shoes.
