The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with. We have a home warranty with AHS, and Bye Door Installs was the selected service provider. The technician came out on Friday and instead of focusing on the problem, he criticized the builders, saying things like, "These builders just throw these houses together and they don't put the doors on correctly" and "You see where this light is coming in, they didn't do that right." He mentioned something about the tensions, ordering parts, and said he would return on Monday or Tuesday to fix it. Imagine my shock when we received an estimate from them through AHS of $8,723, claiming the door looked like it had been hit by a car, wasn't installed correctly, and needed to be replaced. I was flabbergasted. I called the company and spoke to someone who said they didn't understand how it could be that much and promised a technician would call me back. Of course, no one did. I tried calling several times yesterday and this morning, but no one answered. I called AHS and requested a second opinion, but they needed to find a new service provider, which would take another 48 hours. We found a local company yesterday that came out this morning. They tightened the spring, added a new coil, and completed the job in 20 minutes for $199. The only explanation for this discrepancy in price is that Bye Door Installs was trying to scam AHS and us as consumers. I'm sure they thought we would fall for anything because my car was trapped in the garage. I urge you not to use this company. If you are in the Auburn/Opelika area, I highly recommend Up Down Garage Door. Excellent service with integrity.

This summer we had Steve, the owner, come back again and advise us regarding issues we had with our sunroom. Rather than demolition of the structure and and starting from scratch, Steve advised us to have new doors and gutters installed and the roof resurfaced with a rubber membrane which ended up saving us thousands of dollars since there was little demo involved and the original structure was utilized effectively. The project went so well that we asked him to replace the windows, as well. Our room looks fantastic, and we are getting compliments from everyone who sees it. We are so pleased with his workmanship, his crew, and all the products that we are having him come back to install a new Seamless Steel Roof!! 5 star work all the way around.

At the first visit , when I had my windshield checked, I was told I would need a replacement. I made an appointment and returned only to find that a mistake had been made and windshield had not been ordered. I rescheduled and returned for now my third visit only to find that another mistake had been made and my windshield could not be replaced yet again!! I even called the morning of my appointment to confirm. I will not return here ever again I will drive even further if I have to. Their shop is a complete disaster. It looks like every financial record they've ever had is stacked all over their waiting area and entire shop. Shame on me for giving them a second chance and a third chance.
