Our garage door always seemed to have issues opening during cold mornings. Technician came by, found no issues, greased everything and gave us a bill for $100. This weekend was cold and we began to have problems again. This morning I called Auburn Door. Their technician, by the name of Chance, arrived at 3pm. Of course, by then the weather had warmed up, and the door opened relatively easily. But Chance knew what he was doing. He looked at the door go up and I assume he saw no issues with the tracks, so he got a ladder and checked the motor. Lo and behold, the motor was set on its lowest power setting for raising the door!!! I felt stupid for not having checked that out myself since I had the manual. In any case, Chance increased the setting to five and even when he put some pressure against the door rising, it still came up. Problem solved. Thank you Chance and Auburn Door. Oh, and he charged me only $75 compared to $100 by Overhead Door.
