American Hearth & Door was recommended by a customer, so I called the office and spoke with Liz who was super sweet. Liz had Jason Gonzalez give me a call about servicing our 4 warehouse doors. Jason was on site within the hour. Jason serviced all 4 doors and even went the extra mile to explain why we were having some of the issues. He also explained very clearly on how he was able to fix everything. This is a TOP NOTCH company in my opinion! It only cost $250!!

Our garage door always seemed to have issues opening during cold mornings. Technician came by, found no issues, greased everything and gave us a bill for $100. This weekend was cold and we began to have problems again. This morning I called Auburn Door. Their technician, by the name of Chance, arrived at 3pm. Of course, by then the weather had warmed up, and the door opened relatively easily. But Chance knew what he was doing. He looked at the door go up and I assume he saw no issues with the tracks, so he got a ladder and checked the motor. Lo and behold, the motor was set on its lowest power setting for raising the door!!! I felt stupid for not having checked that out myself since I had the manual. In any case, Chance increased the setting to five and even when he put some pressure against the door rising, it still came up. Problem solved. Thank you Chance and Auburn Door. Oh, and he charged me only $75 compared to $100 by Overhead Door.

As a retired senior citizen, I was treated very disrespectfully because I did not want to accept a damaged garage door. I inspected their product and installation and found that it was damaged, and I did not want to accept their installation! This company does not provide customer service after the job is installed. I had to file a complaint to the corporate office to get another company to replace the damaged garage door that River City Door refused to resolve. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

River City Door Company did a fantastic job fixing my garage door. My existing door had two major…read moreissues. The first was noise - it was so loud, even though I had used grease on all the hinges, springs, and wheels. The second was staying closed. I would hit the remote button to close the door, and it would go down half-way, then suddenly reverse and open again. It got to the point where I would have to push the button three times, and still watch the door to make sure it closed. The reviews for River City wer overwhelmingly positive, so I went to their website and completed the service request form. I submitted the form on a Wednesday and expected a return call the following week. That didn't happen - they called me back the same day, in 15 minutes. I spoke to Heather who assured me that they could fix my door. She was able to schedule a tech for the following Monday, from 10 to noon (aside - she could have scheduled it for the next day. The only reason she didn't was because I wasn't available until Monday.) On Monday, Wes (the technician) showed up right at 10. I immediately took that as a good sign. He was able to diagnose the problem immediately, then he fixed the issues. What he did next was the best thing, though. He explained to me what I needed to do to make sure the door remained in tip-top order. He also told me that the opener itself was fine and didn't need to be replaced, even though it was 18 years old. He finished in 30 minutes and was on his way. The total cost for the service appointment was $129, which was a bargain to me. I now have a garage door that opens and closes quietly, which is exactly what I need. If you have garage door issues and your own maintenance work isn't doing the trick, call River City Door Company. They will get your door in perfect working order, for a lot less than you think it will cost.
