Last Monday the low oil light came on. I didn't see any oil leaking, and called Midway to get an appointment to find out why the light was on. To my surprise I had a leak at the oil filter. The place that changed my oil, failed to properly install the oil filter. Midway properly installed a new oil filter and had to add two quarts of oil to fill the engine. Fortunately my van is old, and holds five quarts of oil, so the engine never suffered due to the low oil volume. This is the third time Midway saved me. It was the third time they fixed issues that others created. Midway is always super busy. They don't advertise, or have display signs. They "earn" their business, by doing good work. They prosper doing business the old fashioned way.

Upon inspection they found so many things wrong with this vehicle that was not brought to my attention by the salesman at this dealership. Initially the cost was about $100 mainly due to the cost of the Toyota recommended synthetic oil. The staff were friendly and the wait was not long. Once the oil change was completed the cost was almost HALF of the amount quoted!!! We appreciate the friendly service and honesty of K & R. We called a month or so later to get an estimate on adding a hitch receiver and K & R referred us to U-Haul because the cost is cheaper there than what K & R would charge. The main rear seal, which is what I told them was the problem from the beginning, so in short they're just worried about the money, definitely not the customer service. And as far as I'm concerned they're backwoods machanics, definitely not worth the money they pry from your hands, and to top it all off no courtesy calls or nothing you have to physically call them to get an update or to even find out if your vehicle is ready, plus I had a quarter of a tank when I brought it in and when I got it back my light was on.
