With over 40 years in business, their experience really shows. The work was done quickly without any mess left behind, and the pricing was fair and transparent. Six months later, both properties are completely bone dry. It's rare to find a contractor who can handle both a residential and commercial job with the same level of professionalism and efficiency. Highly recommend AJ Waterproofing to anyone dealing with water intrusion problems.

can't say enough good things about my experience with JustDryBasement. From the very first phone…read morecall, everything was top-notch. I had contacted several companies before, and honestly, most made me feel like I was bothering them. But when I called JustDryBasement, Susan answered--and she was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. That first impression already set them apart. She connected me with the owner, Elliot, who has been amazing from start to finish. We worked together on three separate projects, and in every one, his quality of work and professionalism truly stood out. First project: Elliot installed a French drain in my basement and noticed damage to the walls, so he recommended and installed a special polyester wall barrier. He walked me through the entire process with patience and clarity. I waited a full year before writing this review, just to make sure everything held up--and I can confidently say, even through heavy rains here in Medford, NJ, my basement has remained dry. His work speaks for itself: solid, clean, and reliable. Second project: I still had high humidity in the basement, so Elliot suggested and installed a whole-house dehumidifier (AprilAire E100). He connected it directly to the French drain system, so I no longer have to worry about emptying water or dealing with moisture. It runs efficiently and quietly--even when I'm traveling, I have peace of mind. Third issue: Recently, I had water flooding in the finished part of my basement. I thought it was the water heater, but Elliot offered to stop by just to help figure it out. And he did--within two days, exactly as he promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue: it was actually the AC pump, not the water heater. Thanks to his advice, I was able to get the original installer (under warranty) to fix the problem. Elliot didn't have to help with that, but he did anyway--because that's the kind of person he is. Beyond his technical skills, Elliot is honest, communicative, punctual, and just a genuinely good person. He always followed through on his word, showed up on time, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Even when I had concerns, he didn't brush them off--instead of just talking over the phone, he came in person to give me peace of mind. I also want to give a shoutout to his partner Phillip, who was also fantastic to work with, and again, to Susan, for being so welcoming and helpful from the start. After working with this company three times, I can honestly say: I highly recommend JustDryBasement to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and peace of mind. Their prices are more than fair for the level of service they deliver. It's rare to find people in this field who truly care--and I'm so glad I found them. Thank you, Elliot and team!

From start to finish, I could tell I was dealing with a hardworking, honest, business owner, Jamie. He didn't try to upsell me things I didn't need. You know how some people you just *know* are good people? This business owner is one of them. On the administrative side of things, Erin handled all my scheduling and thousands of questions patiently and thoroughly. Viking Waterproofing installed a French Drain in the whole perimeter of my basement at a reasonable cost. He showed me where my water was coming in from and addressed each area so I wouldn't have an issue. They completed the job in two days, were respectful of my space, and kept it clean after they left. They even had flooring protectors so my floors wouldn't get damaged as they worked. A few storms later; I can report I've had a dry basement once again and I'm so grateful for Viking Waterproofing.

Extremely disappointed with Basement 11 Solutions…read more We purchased additional service and a warranty from Basement 11 Solutions and expected that warranty to mean something. About a year and a half later, we contacted the company because we needed to have the warranty serviced due to ongoing basement water issues. It has now been six months since we first reached out, and no one has shown up to our home to address the problem. Despite repeatedly trying to get service, we have been left waiting. During this time, the basement has continued to deteriorate, and we have now discovered a significant amount of mold in the basement as a result of the ongoing moisture issue. We trusted this company to stand behind its work and its warranty. Instead, we have spent six months trying to get someone to simply show up, while the condition of our basement has gotten substantially worse.

When someone did call me back, I was driving and set up a time for an appointment and asked that she call me or email the appointment date and time. Never happened. Called several more times and nothing. I wasn't even living in the property in question and it was sheer coincidence that when a guy showed up to give an estimate, I happened to be at the property. It was for a crack in a poured concrete foundation wall. The guys solution was to address the crack, but then also break the poured concrete pad and basically put in a drainage pit. If you're at all familiar with Radon remediation - WORST IDEA EVER. And, totally unnecessary if you fix the crack properly. And to boot, the price was outrageous. Given the effort of just getting them through the door and their "fix one problem, but worsen another" approach (the radon), we found someone else who fixed the crack without disturbing the floor and it was perfectly repaired with no leaks in the heavy rains since that would've normally caused the crack to pass water. About 2 weeks after their estimator was there, the owner (I imagine) of the company called and asked if they could set up an appointment to come out and give a quote. Seriously? I gave him an earful. Would never use them. My recommendation: find a mason like I did.
