Although it'll take a while to be able to afford the cost of fixing the house's foundation, I was able to have them fix the front porch since it is connected to the roof. They did a great job with leveling it, and even explaining to me what they are doing. All in all, I am quite impressed with Groundworks, and will look forward to figuring out a way to be able to afford to get the house's foundation fixed.

I had a sagging driveway apron that was two inches below the curb. I asked a local concrete repairman to assess it, and he told me it would require permits, a few days of digging and ultimately lifting the apron. It was not a cheap job. After looking online, I decided to give Concrete Chiropractor a call, expecting an expensive quote, given their well-known name. Kris got back to me promptly, asked me to send him some photos, and he quoted me online. The quote was less than half of the other guys. They came, and a few hours later were gone. The two inch sagging was gone, and the apron was flush with the curb. My car no longer scrapes against the concrete, and if you didn't know, you wouldn't be able to tell anything was repaired. If you have sagging concrete issues, don't waste your time...call them! I wish I could find professionals like them for other things around the house!

I explained to them the water is coming from the cracked foundation on the outside into the ceiling of the basement. My basement never flooded from the bottom up. It didn't even flood from the floor up during Hurricane Sandy! So, Brandon, the co-owner, told me they would install a system that would keep the basement dry. I'm a recent widow and not knowledgeable about waterproofing systems so I let them put it in. Before they installed the system I had 7 buckets to collect water and after they put in the system, I had 9 buckets. The system they installed did nothing. The leaks got worse. I called them and they came back to seal the outside with a sealant but the leaking continued. When I reached out again I got no response. I contracted a handyman and he sealed up the outside foundation for less than $300.00. I paid $6,000.00 to Schneck Waterproofing and the problem was repaired by someone else for far less.
