DON'T GO-You're ignored Me and my mother grow our natural nails so for years we would get manicures. We were satisfied customers until recently. We arrived for our appointments 10 minutes before our scheduled time yet we had to wait 1 1/2 before receiving service because our male manicurist decided to take a walk in wanting acrylics right before we arrived. We know this to be true because he was just getting started with this lady's nails when we arrived! We had a special affair to go to or else we would not have waited that long to get service when we had appointments. So, we received our gel manicures in which we noticed he rushed through but we tipped him well. Two days later, our metallic nail polish was peeling off! I immediately called the salon and they didn't make any apologies or offer anyway to correct the situation until I insisted! We were offered a walk-in appointment for them to redo our polish only but we did not have any time before our important event to go and wait all day for someone to be free to do it for the both of us. So then they were closed on Sunday. I called again to see if they had time in the schedule for us to have appointments in order to correct the situation because we were not going to wait all day for them to have an opening for us as walk-ins. I was then told that I took too long to come to the salon to have them redo our polish and that I should've came within 3 days after we had them done. So they just pocketed our money, $50 for my mom and $60 for me. Polish should not come off that soon and that has never happened to us before. So they will not get our money ever again and we will not recommend them to anyone. We have been loyal customers for at least 7 years. This situation shows how they can care less about keeping you as a satisfied customer. They don't value you as a customer. They value your money! This is ridiculous and unacceptable and now I'm demanding a refund for us because we care not to go back there for any service! Also, we're making a complaint to Better Business Bureau to show that it's not acceptable to treat paying customers this way coming there for service. Also, we don't want them doing this to anyone else. read more

I am so disappointed with this nail salon as it was my first time here. I made an appointment 3 days prior for 12pm with a pedicure and full set. I got there about 15 mins before and they started my pedicure about 10 mins later. The pedicure was great, I got the deluxe and an older gentleman did them. No issues with the pedicure at all.. the issue is.. once I finished and walked to the front, the woman told me it would be a few moments to wait for my full set. No problem..I ended up waiting for an hour, while seeing other people who had appointments after me.. get their pedicure and nails started. I asked how much longer the wait would be and she tells me another 30 mins! How? I said well I've been waiting for an hour and I had an appointment, I was not a walk in. They shrugged me off and I paid and kept it moving. It honestly seemed better to do a walk in vs an appointment.. but to leave a nail salon after waiting for what would have been an hour and half from having an appointment set, absolutely not. I've been going here since I was 15 and unfortunately I'd have to say it went downhill a bit. In terms of techs, they're all very nice, I've never had an issue regarding attitudes even if they were agitated. However nice doesn't always mean the work is great. The first photo is Nancy's work. She does amazing and is very talented this set ended up lasting me three weeks and I got a fill which, brings me to the second set. The green, gold and white set is Dylan's. I actually ended up tipping him a great amount because he did a great job (so I thought) and was interacting and catering to my every need. But unfortunately, a nail broke two days later and the gel peeled completely off the thumb within a week. The last time I went, I went to John and I got a short black set, my nail peeled before I left the salon. He attempted to fix it but unfortunately he could not and he's getting older so I didn't throw a hissy fit considering I've known him for 6 years now. This place is the worst! My wife and I came in to get pedicures and my wife also got a manicure as well as we were attending a wedding later that weekend. Once we were taken to the back to start our pedicures we were seated in the massage chairs and put our feet in the water to soak them. My water was luke warm to begin with. We then did not see the nail tech again for almost an hour and a half! By that time the water that my feet were soaking in was ice cold. Once they finally started on our feet they rushed right through it. Not to mention, the nail tech was very rough while doing my feet. She cut way to close to my cuticles and my feet were still sore for over a week later. Making it very difficult to walk and dance in dress shoes at the wedding reception. Once she was finished I paid and left while my wife stayed to get her manicure done. The pedicure I received was mediocre at best. It was not worth the price at all. When I came back to picked her up once she was finished she was beyond pissed as the nail tech completely misshaped her real finger names while attaching the fake nails on top. She even drilled down too far and into her real nail! Her nail now breaks in that area every time she has tried to grow them out since! NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! read more

Called yesterday (Wednesday) to make an appointment for Saturday with the owner. I was told she was booked full Saturday, Friday and Thursday. I asked if they happened to have anything available that evening as I was off work early and able to get over there before they closed at the very inconvenient time for someone who works an 8-530 job; at 7pm (hours all over the internet are incorrect for this place). They told me to come in at 630 for a fill and toe polish change with Ann. I showed up at 625 and after picking a polish color, a male technician shuffled off his current client and sat me down. He started working on my nails so quickly and rushed that his hands were shaking. I am currently typing this in absolute agony because of how many slits and cuts and sores I now have on my fingers. I told him a couple times it hurt. He did not ease up his hand or slow down at all whatsoever. He was rushing to get me in an out as quickly as possible. My nails ended up uneven, razor sharp and with paint slopped all over them (see photo attached). As he started to paint my toes, he realized the polish he was using was dripping completely off of my nails - called another tech over and started yelling at her in Vietnamese. This lets me know they try to preserve their polishes by adding a thinner to them instead of throwing them out and replacing them. I asked if I was able to tip on my card and was told yes. Turns out that was not an option. When I got home, I spent a very painful hour trying to fix the mess that was my nails. It's such a shame I cant find a good nail place around here. read more

I went to J&J to get my nails done for vacation. I spent 38 dollars and had an appointment for 4 o'clock and didn't get out of there til 6. I showed up for my appointment in time and didn't get taken by a nail tech until 5. I was getting a fill and gel polish, while they were doing my nails the gel bubbled up in the UV light machine and I asked them to fix it. They did not. I can't believe I paid for them just to have the polish completely ripped off a day later. read more

My acrylics are chipping within a day and so is my gel polish. I spent 80 and I was there from 2 until 530. You would think with the amount of time it took and the amount of money I spent you would think my nails would be looking beautiful. Instead they look cheap and I like I did them at home. My nails are lumpy and have bubbles and the polish is streaky. They also didn't even have flip flops for after your pedicure. Honestly the worst nail experience I have had. read more

Terrible customer service Ann who is usually the nicest person there besides her husband, she will however talk about you or join in when the other workers are speaking their native tongue right in front of your face, she gives it away by laughing and looking up at you very sheepishly. I changed my mind about a color she became so upset with me they were very busy, I was a walk in she showed so much anger in her face I apologized she had only did 1 nail the color was soooo ugly on, she changed the color but then filed them so thin they broke off 1 by 1 in 3 days, I never went back and never will, they aren't satisfied that they are 7 yrs tax exempt they keep changing ownership so the tax exempt continues. Not much to say about their manicure service but I've gotten my acrylics filled here once because the salon I usually go to were closed for a week. The nail shape was perfect but the paint job was messy. Nothing too bad though that I couldn't fix myself. BUT they are the only salon I trust with my pedicures. They always do a great job and I can never complain. read more

The lady who did my nails is nice and friendly. It's a Vietnamese family own nail saloon. The downside is this place smells like nail polish. They should ventilate it out since its harmful to health. I notice besides OPI nail polish brand they have some unheard of cheap quality brand nail polish. The nail polish quality wasn't good either, took awhile to dry up and some of my nail polish got smudge after I got home. At that price I'm paying I expect the nail polish quality to be better. read more

I used to go here faithfully then I had started to go elsewhere because my nail tech left. I recently went back to get my nails done for Easter (Wed before Easter). I got a gel nail set. My polish on my middle finger was chipped on Friday and my thumb was chipped on Saturday. That is when I noticed tenderness in my index finger by the nail. By the following Wednesday, my index finger was swollen with sharp throbbing pain centered at my nail bed. My finger was painful to the touch and very warm as well. I had no idea what was going on and used ice and an inflammatory (I thought maybe a bug bit me). By Friday, I went to Med Express because the pain was too much. The first thing the doctor asked was if I had gotten my nails done and said I had Cellulitis. (Bacteria under my nail). She said when your cuticles are pushed back, bacteria can be pushed under as well. Well, I washed my hands so where could it have come from? It is now Monday and my finger is still swollen and painful after starting antibiotics on Friday. I am now afraid to get my nails done anywhere because of sterilization concerns. Oh, my ring finger has chipped off as well. My gel set usually last 2+ weeks before any problems. read more
