I've been a J&J customer for several years. Last October they called to tell me they were coming on a certain date. Not ASKED if they could come, TOLD me they would be there. I cancelled that service because I would be out of town. I called back to ask if they could come in November. Earliest date was three weeks away, again when I would be gone. Now I've called to ask for the service (March) They say OK, but they will still come again in April because that is what I signed up for those years ago. I'll get service Jan, April, July, Oct This is not customer oriented. This is a company that tells me when I'll get service, like it or not. read more

I reached out to J&J Exterminators today, need some exterminating at my house, was told I would get a call later today, Received a call, was told I would get an email, sign and return, I told him (Lance) that i didn't want a contract, he told me it wasn't a contract, that i can cancel at any time. I opened email and it said it is a contract and I was supposed to agree to service exclusions that meant all the pests I need taken care of were exclusions, which meant I would have to pay extra for what I needed, so my husband called Lance back just to ask basic questions, and he rudely said we were asking too many questions, that he was going to have to walk away from helping us. He was very rude. Its pretty bad when you can't ask any questions!!! What happened to customer service???? read more

We were a customer for 5-6 years. We had monthly mosquito service. This company decided to change our service from mosquito to a different plan that was $30 more and did not notify me. They said "I got more done like fire ants mosquitos etc", but my yard was still filled with ants. I still had to pay the bill, the customer service lady didn't even offer to take that money off. I'm unsure how you can change something after 5-6 years, much less not notifying the customer. The lady at customer service said something about a contract.... that I signed 5-6 years ago. The customer service is terrible. The mosquito service was good, but whatever plan they put us on that was more expensive definitely didn't help with the fire ants. read more

I signed a quarterly contract with J&J Exterminating for insect control of my home. My service started out fine, but then my service tech started no-showing when I requested service. After the third no-show, I called and cancelled my quarterly service arrangement. Despite this, I received a bill from them for the next month's quarterly service. I called them back and was told to disregard the bill. The bills kept coming. I called a third time and asked that they stop sending me bills for services that were never rendered. Once again, I was told to just disregard the bills. Five months later, J&J turned me over to a collection agency, with no explanation. My service was out of Tyler, but the corporate office is out of Shreveport, hence the disconnect. I will shop around for a small, local provider. read more

SAVE your MONEY & time !!!! I booked this company because they were cheapest around !!! but you literally get what you pay for ! Save your money !!! I feel like i've been ripped off !!!! A month after service i'm still experiencing big problems after several visit out to respray !!!!!!! At this point I just want a refund because whatever products they use DO NOT WORK ! First visit they did not come with all their stuff to do full treatment.. staff was friendly & good customer service far as coming back out multiple times !!!!!!! This is the MOST professional and attentive pest control company I've ever worked with. I got ripped off and lied to by one of the most used, well known local and easily found pest control companies and ran upon this company in the phone book after no results from the other company and I couldn't be more glad that I did. It's nothing worse than feeling like you are throwing away money. Everyone I've encountered from the understanding friendly ladies on the phone that helped hook me to my SO Awesome, attentive, friendly and professional tech AJ are super great people to work with and have in your home. He is the best! Everyone is respectful and my tech is helpful and truthful and not pushy and not just concerned with how to get your money!! I've had Mickey Mouse and friends bothering me and AJ is doing all he can to help which I appreciate. Also the bug spray WORKS!!! No bugs in sight!! This company is affordable and not pocket draining. So if you start to have issues look past the most well known companies that are concerned with setting you up with the most visits to charge for and try this company.
