What a nightmare company! Of course all is great until you attempt to cancel your contract after your contract commitment is reached. Even after I sent a written note on their quarterly statement and sent back in a timely manor they still continue to call and harass me while at work and home. I've called three different times reminding them I cancelled due to lack of problem solving and they still are calling me. Now, finally I was told I do not owe the last bill since I received no service, only to receive a letter from their collection service, again for services I NEVER received. I would not recommend J & J. They're like the Hotel California, you can check-in but can never leave. read more

We needed to get our house under a termite contract. I called 6 different exterminating companies to get quotes. Pricing, warranties, and treatment methods varied, but Mr. John Prior with J & J Exterminating stood out from all the others. Mr. Prior excelled out carefully explaining the treatment options available and how each worked to best protect my property. Of course John touted J & J's service as superior to the competition and that remains to be seen as my termite treatment is scheduled for next week. I called the company one Friday afternoon to get information about their services since they had the contract with the previous home owner. I was told that someone would call me back the following Monday, never got the call, so I called back on Monday, both times I was told to just go ahead and send them a check for the renewal. Wait a minute! I just don't dish $ out without you coming to my home talk to me about all my options. I am disappointed because I read some of the good reviews but I for God's sake, don't treat your potential customers like we are cash cows, whatever happened to customer service? I ended up calling other companies and one already came out to look at my home, talk about my options, any potential problems, etc. Is that too much to ask if you want my business? read more
