We made an appointment, and he even came by the house in advance to take a look. Day of, they arrived right on time and he walked me through their plan. They spent most of the day under and around the house setting up the traps and digging a trench to deal with the Formosan termites (much to the confusion of my dog who heard them under the house). They also discovered that we have dry wood termites, which will require tenting. Boo. They will be coming back to take care of that in the next month. He explained the pricing for everything, and we're now on a plan so this shouldn't happen again. He was professional and kind, and I knew I was in good hands. I am very confident that my termite problems are a thing of the past, and looking forward to working with him to make this a reality.

I can't recommend her enough. My apartment had opossums or some sort of flea-source underneath the building. I had fleas coming up through the floorboards. Whereas the previous service sprayed generously, the fleas stayed strong. When Torrie came, the fleas vanished. Torrie does two services, all covered under one price. Note: you will need to leave your home for four hours following her visit (at least this was the case with my treatment). Torrie sprayed both in my apartment and underneath. She is kind, friendly, informative and she gets the job done! She deserves your business where others in her profession may mean well but aren't delivering. An added bonus is that hers is a woman-owned business. Thank you, Torrie, from a very grateful customer.

At first treatment pass over by Billiot, it seemed things were okay until we started seeing a spider here, and a roach there. Living in the south, you expect it once in a while, but you don't want it all up in your home! Billiot sends out surveys for once it's been a couple weeks after service. I wasn't initially going to mention the bugs still being alive because I knew had had to have brought some with us in moving boxes, but since they sent a survey I thought I'd throw it in there. WHOA DID THEY GET ON IT! They sent a person out same day to make it better. It happened to be the same guy, who is ALWAYS pleasant and INCREDIBLY professional and wonderful! I've been using Brans Pest Control, and no one else, since I moved into my current apartment 10…read moreyears ago. About 8 months into my first year living here, I was gifted with a disgusting, rapidly growing roach problem courtesy of my upstairs neighbours. Let me set up this nightmare fuel for y'all: at about 1AM on a Thursday night, I hear a crash from the room above my bed... And then another... And then a few more. Just when I'm about to set my book aside and roll out to see what's going on, I hear a shrill, muffled "OH MY **CKING GOD THEY'RE IN EVERYTHING" from above. I've been on this planet living amongst nasty twenty-somethings, who never do dishes and don't know what a broom is for, long enough to know EXACTLY what was happening. Sure enough, about 2 minutes later the crashes migrate outside where they are catapolting everything they presumably own out the front door. I spent the rest of my flashing life into the wee dawn hours staring red-eyed at my ceiling, as if the bugs were going to phase through the drywall to rain (or reign) upon my head. The next morning, as I lumbered into my kitchen, I entered my first staring match with the recently displaced occupants of unit 3123B. After months of waiting for adequate response from my landlord - low expectations from the start I assure you- and several failed attempts to negotiate rent or a cease fire out of the colony of refugees making use of my amenities, I just stepped right over that line and went searching for myself. I wanted a local company a) to support local business, b) because I don't trust the service of corporate brands and don't want to deal with their "customer service", and c) don't want to be locked into a contract. I landed on Brans, and from day 1 they were professional, very fairly priced, and guaranteed their work. No lie, it took a few visits and about a month to erradicate the roach problem, which did not surprise me, but they kept on the ball and resolved the issue within my original agreement. I took over property management for the landlord and have been using Brans quarterly for the entire house. They are very honest people, and have worked within my budget. I have used them to take care of bugs and rodents and have yet to be disappointed.

**WARNING TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS -- PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS CAREFULLY AND EXPECT A REBUTTAL BELOW THIS…read morePOST. In my opinion, do NOT automatically believe the company's response without reviewing the actual facts and documentation yourself.** My experience with LaJaunie's Pest Control was extremely disappointing and financially stressful. I was sold a very expensive rodent package, including approximately **$18,000 in exclusion work** that was supposed to help prevent rats from entering the home, in addition to attic cleaning and ongoing pest services. Despite all of this work and money spent, I STILL had rodent activity afterward and was repeatedly told to "just wait, it takes a while." **PLEASE READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY.** From my understanding, the cancellation terms heavily favored the company and included major financial penalties tied to the remaining balance of the agreement. The billing issues became even more concerning: * After already making **11 out of 12 payments**, I was told I could cancel and would not owe additional payments. * I later continued receiving charge notifications and attempted charges to my card. * I spoke with **Shelly twice** and was specifically told there would NOT be an additional **$49 charge** because they were "just picking up bait boxes." * Another charge was still processed anyway. * When I called back, management stated I still needed to pay. I was also told the company "records everything," yet the information later being described as part of my alleged agreement was NOT what I stated during the conversations. I requested copies of the recordings they referenced and am still waiting. Fortunately, I also keep my own records of conversations. When I raised concerns, I was told the employee involved "no longer works for the company." Again: PLEASE document everything in writing, save screenshots, review every clause carefully, and get multiple opinions before committing to any large pest-control contract.

We started looking into companies that treat small areas of dry wood termites since we didn't need the house to be tented and found Lajaunie's. It's pricey but the peace of mind that we won't be chasing the termites around the house is worth it. They treated the underneath of our house, the attic and drilled holes on both sides of each door and window to treat.
