Their communication regarding the project and the expense was clear and direct. They were responsive, on time, professional, courteous, fairly priced, and very knowledgeable. The job was completed efficiently and exactly as discussed with no surprises. They even left the work area cleaner than they found it, and they answered all of our questions at a level that we (non-electricians!) could understand. A reliable electrician is hard to find, and we highly recommend Mid Atlantic Wiring--we will definitely use their services again when the need arises.

Extremely satisfied, and I'll be using them again if the need ever arises.

I went with their option to install the ones that came with the extras that I knew I would appreciate down the road such as floodlights, audio, night vision etc. It's been almost a full week and I love the cameras. I'm actually having fun watching the deer, foxes and other night-time wildlife that wander the neighborhood. Autumn Electric was punctual, efficient. They even encouraged me to call-back should I want the camera angles shifted to provide different coverage. These guys are book-smart and street-smart when it comes to anything electric. Darrell (the dispatcher) is easy to deal with & always reconfirms things via email or phone call. One reason I chose Autumn Electric is because Dave (the owner) provided 3 different estimates each of which had different capabilities. I was very at-ease with Dave's electrical knowledge as well as his familiarity with various brands. I especially liked the way he trouble-shot issues along the way such as giving me the option to replace a rusty electric pipe that had been powering the motion sensor in the back yard. I would easily trust Autumn Electric for any other electrical needs.

I have always been very happy with the quality of their work. If you are a Property or Facilities Manager, Wilcox is an excellent partner that will leave you looking good! My experience is that they do high quality work, offer appropriate pricing, easy scheduling and are staffed by professionals in both the field and in the office. This review is because I recently had them do work at my own home and I am beyond happy. I've used them for small personal projects in the past but this time I brought them in to do larger work including a 200 amp heavy up and adding a dedicated circuit for a new stove. They knocked it out of the park! When our home was inspected for purchase 12 years ago, the inspector mentioned that our panel could be a concern. It took me this long to address it. A few months ago Dale performed panel maintenance and helped me understand so much about the power in my home that I decided to have Wilcox come back to do a 200 amp heavy up. Jermaine and Daniel did that work and did a fantastic job. I am so happy with the outcome. Lastly, Nick W came out and installed a dedicated circuit to install a new stove and did a wonderful job. Since I'm a curious customer who asks a lot of questions, he showed me all the components inside the panel and explained what they did. Now, for the first time since we bought the place, I feel absolutely confident in the safety of the power in my home. Based on my recent experiences, I'm planning to have them come back later this year to add some outlets to the exterior of the home and also run power out to my shed. Everyone I have dealt with from scheduling with the office to communicating about estimates and the onsite visits have been top notch. Their staff is professional, knowledgeable and have helped me understand the process at every step. You can rest easy if you choose Wilcox Electric for your project. They're great!

The complex project was accomplished successfully, on the other hand. More recently, I called them up about troubleshooting a couple flaky GFCI breakers. The owner came out immediately (an hour later!) and I learned a lot from him about breakers. On the other hand, he came out without any spare breakers and had to make a run to Home Depot, so I ended up being charged 1.5 hours at $237 an hour (usually time past the first hour is something like $70 extra), so much more expensive than alternatives. So a solid outfit, but not my first choice.

The Tech took a picture insisted he had to speak with his boss, Matt Long. He had to go outside hide behind his van and spoke for over for like 20 minutes. Finally came back in and said it would be $415 to connect this cable because oh they were also gonna do some cleanup in the panel which wasn't required wasn't needed and it was just nonsense to increase the price so of course I'm not gonna pay $415 for 10 minute job therefore I just lost a $99 and ended up just doing it myself - don't ever hire AJ Long - It's such a rip off.

Do you need a new water heater? This is the company to get if you don't want to wait!…read more Luckily my hot water heater finally decided to die in the middle of the summer. However, cold showers get old after the first one. Anyways, I assumed it was repairable due to clogged valves or needed replacement as it was over 10 years old and maybe much older. I called this company up because of the reviews and anything veteran owned is usually legit. Nassim was my technician and he can right in the middle of the service window scheduled. He immediately found the issue and gave me two options - repair or replace. I decided to replace because I know the water supply in this community tends to have a lot of minerals buildup. I'm glad I did. Upon removing the old hot water heater, a ton of deposits was found. I may have been missing out on full powered showers for years. Not anymore! Highly recommended. No BS. No upsell. Time to shower and be clean again!
