I had a really frustrating experience with J&D Auto Dismantling. We called ahead and were told they had a specific bumper in stock, confirmed the price, and even got their hours before making the trip. After driving nearly 3 hours through traffic, we arrived only to be told the part was NOT available. What made it worse was the complete lack of accountability or concern. No apology, no attempt to help find a solution, nothing. They didn't even bother to call us back when they supposedly realized it wasn't in stock. We were completely misled and wasted an entire day for nothing. If you're thinking about making a trip out there, I'd strongly recommend confirming multiple times or considering another place altogether. read more

I Had a Amazing Experience at this place. Friendly help. Great prices. They seem to have turned it around.

I wish i could give them a zero, my boyfriend and i went in to this business today, prior to going in we called and were quoted one price for a used engine but then when we arrived we were quoted something more and when we asked why the change, the lady was beyond rude for no reason at all and threatened to call the police for simply asking why they changed the price smh. I absolutely do not recommend them and they have other reviews saying how rude they are. Hopefully they read these and get their act together. read more

Bought a motor that was told it was compression tested. They lied and when I asked for some type of compensation they refused even thought I had called and told them. TERRIBLE RUN BUSINESS DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. read more

last yr when they replaced engine in my RV $2800.. when I mentioned it ticked.. they said "they all tick".. (90 days guarantee but didn't back it up) and when I got my core they kept the manifold & all the sensors on it.. I recently had to pay $410. to get 2 modules (that were ok on my original manifold) replaced and timing re-set to pass smog... Buyer Beware... read more

If you're looking for parts this is the place to go! Great selection of parts and excellent prices!

If it was possible for me to rate this company zero stars or negative stars or no stars at all I certainly would. They're not an honest business with their warranty or their parts and they refused to give you your money back even if they've given you three fucking broken parts they won't give you your money back and they'll just try and give you more broken parts or they won't give you anything at all. The guy who runs the place is seriously the rudest person I think I've ever met in my whole life. He Doesn't care about the customer is always right policy. He will sit there and argue with you . After I had gotten two broken transmissions from this place they offered to let me keep the broken transmission or give me another one without warranty. If you want broken parts and and I get your money back that sure go to this place. I'll be filing a small courts claim against him as well as contacting OSHA. read more

I came to purchase a driveshaft they show me the truck I had a visual from the outside of the truck couldn't get under since the track wasn't safe since it was a wreck track I just checked to see if there was a right shaft and I gave them the OK so then I pay for the part they call somebody to come pull the part out they never called me back up to get a better visual when the truck was up in the air they brought me the part a notice where in tear which is very common on these trucks. it was so bad that I told them that I didn't want to take the part because it was going to break very soon as well The lady that owns the place he told me I was not going to get my money back I asked her why since I never walked out of the office with the part and I told her It was not fair for them to do that since I couldn't see that from the outside of the truck where she respond it was my problem that I could get store credit and I said no I didn't want my money to be retained for a part that I can't use I ask her can I get warranty at least 30 days if this breaks to bring it back where she decline again and say there is no warranty at all if it last one day or year it was my problem at this point another man that work there got into the conversation and I told him I wasn't trying to be rude I was being nice didn't want to ruin anybody's day just wanted to be fair with the purchase I was making where he was fine he was being rude and he was going to kick me out of the office if I keep taking pictures of their license for me to call the better business At this point I just grab the part and walked out since I knew I wasn't getting anywhere with them it was the worst experience I've ever had well never recommend anybody to come and make a purchase with these people that all they care is to take the money once they received your money they stop being nice and they treat you like the worst person ever I told him I was taking pictures of the license so I can call Better Business which the owner lady that was there respond that she didn't care that she have deal with people like me all the time I told them I own a business as well been in business for more than five years and never had an issue my concern was to make sure I take good care of my customer and to put them safe back in the row where this guy responds that, that was my problem how I take care of my customers they didn't care i'll never be back ever again read more

STAY AWAY from this place. Trust the reviews. Thats what I did wrong and I'm an auto repair shop owner myself. If I can give them a zero I would. These guys will rob your money first and give you the wrong part and tell you no refund only store credit. I called them to see if they have an engine for my car and the lady named Gladys said yes. So I sent my helper to go pick up the engine. When he got there the lady said sorry no checks. They don't except checks or credit card so I zelled them the money $1700 before I even saw the engine thinking that they are a legit business. After I zelled the money to the lady they were taking a long time holding my helper back without bringing out the engine so I called the lady Gladys back and told her that I want her to Zelle me back my money because they are taking too long and I cant have my helper waiting there for a long time because my shop is about to close up soon. The lady straight up tells me NO we don't give money back. I told her, look we haven't even seen the engine yet and you're just going to rob me for my money? So, I told my helper to come back to the shop without the engine. The next day my helper went back there at 9am to pick up the engine. Sure enough it was the wrong engine . They didn't have another one so I asked for my refund to go look somewhere else. The guy that claims to be the second owner straight up told me that I gave them the wrong information blaming on me for being wrong. I said look, either way its not the right engine so I want my refund back to be fair. I'm a business owner myself and thats what I would do for my customer. He straight up said for me to keep the engine because there is no return or store credit. I called the Sheriff out to handle this but they can't say shit. The Sheriff did mentioned that that shop has multiple complaints to the sheriffs office already. Thats why these ass holes continues to rob customers becuase they know that they can get away with it. They haven't met the right person yet that will handle this situation differently. read more

Jose was very helpful with figuring out what was wrong with my Chevrolet Equinox. Thank you.

Terrible place and customer service!! Bought an engine and they gave me the wrong one, they exchanged it, but gave me another bad engine that showed corrosion, overheating, and a noise when the flywheel was turned. I took it back (all this within a week), because I had a 90 day warranty, but these THIEVES, especially DANTE, does not want to honor my receipt!!! He refused to return me my money!!!! Do not trust this business!!!!! They will cheat you and not honor their own policies!!!! read more
