I recently purchased a car from J&C. The two women who take care of everything were wonderful and friendly to deal with. Even with my less than perfect credit, they were able to secure financing with a good lender with a much better interest rate than originally anticipated. The entire process was as smooth as butter. From the first email to the last handshake, they definitely made my experience positive. My only gripe is, on the day of delivery, the car was supposedly going in for service on the front brakes, as I noticed the rotors were warped. They called and said that the work had been complete, along with another little issue I found. When I test drove the car again before signing off, I noticed the shaking was still there but didn't have any more time to fuss with it. Other than having to now complete a full service brake job myself, instead of getting the one I was told, it was a great experience. I don't know why there are so many low star reviews. I'd give them 5 if my front brakes were done as promised. read more

Do not shop at J and C. I was just run out of the showroom by the owner. I had an independant appraisal done on a car I was extremely interested in buying. When I told them about the work that needed to be done ($2000 worth) on the 2011 Ford Flex that I had brought cash to pay for, the owner started criticizing the shop that I had do the audit. When I was told they would not change the price or fix the vehicle, I stood up to leave and the owner started yelling at me in the middle of his workplace in front of his workers and customers. This was the most disrespectful and unprofessional experience that I have ever had while shopping for anything, let alone a high priced item like a car. Not only did they lose a cash sale, but I will strongly advise anyone I know to go elsewhere. Whoever the taller bald guy is who owns J and C motors... learn to control yourself. WARNING DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS LOW LIFE! PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM ON APRIL 7. 2023 AND BY APRIL 15th THE Cadillac converter and the water pump, chef seal all went out and the young man so shady and I should've paid more attention to what he was doing. Charge me extra $500 and he did not put it on the purchasing agreement. All he put is that I paid $7000 and he took my Nissan Sentra 2011 and said he could only give me $150 towards the car because I transferred my plates, I called them back on the 15th. I got no help no communication they was really rude and nasty. They wouldn't give me the owner who tell me who the owner was. None of that didn't offer me me no help or nothing do not buy no cars from them and they told me that nothing was wrong with the car and the car and the wheel should last me at least a good year or two before it would break down now I'm looking at over $5000 in repairs and I didn't have the car for two good weeks and is sitting inside my garage because I took my Social Security savings that I had been saving for years to buy me a car to go to the doctor and they swindled me out of my Nissan and the extra $500 that the boy pocketed because he sure didn't put it on the purchasing agreement. Totally unprofessional and rude. I bought a car from them about a month ago from the woman with the brown hair. Everything was going fine up until a couple weeks later. My car was leaking so much oil it was ridiculous on top of that it stalled out on me multiple times. And I've taken it to their shop they told me to go to next door not once but 4 times after that and each time they sent me on my way saying that there is nothing wrong with it. (Obviously something's wrong if it keeps stalling out) so I take it to one of my customer from works collision shop and he texts me 30 min later to tell me exactly what's wrong with it which he then proceeded to tell me the oil pan is stripped definitely not my fault but whoever changed the oil on my car last did the damage. Which I assume it's the shop next door to j and c. Why the shop they told me to go to sent me off 4 times? Idk. Unprofessional on their part too. So I called the dealership and respectfully asked if they could pay for it. She kept brushing me off for a week and kept telling me she'd talk to the owner of course she never did. So I decided to buy the $200 part and go in person and and respectfully ask if they could pay for the labor AT LEAST. She told me once again she'll have joe (the owner) call me. And what do you know? She never calls AGAIN. So I call her and she brushed me off the whole day and FINALLY after a week tells me no joe won't do it. So on top of wasting my time I have to come out of pocket 2 car payments to fix my car and waste money on Uber's to work because this unprofessional place couldn't give me the decency to let me know when she knew the whole time joe would say no. Bottom line I will never recommend this place to anyone, the whole place is just unprofessional. If it wasn't for me buying the car the same day they go it on the lot it would of been leaking oil in their lot anyways and would of had to come out of pocket either way. My sister and my grandfather went to this place to purchase a car. She bought a Black, 2011 Ford Fusion from here in July 2020 for the price of $9,000. The car was paid for in CASH! We left the place to take it home, little did they disclose that the car had parts that were completely rusted out! We have since 1 week after purchasing the car have attempted to call them, after 3 weeks of attempted calls to tell them they sold a 16-year-old a lemon. They asked for pictures and two certified mechanic reviews of the issues that were wrong with this car. So we Faxed copies of the car and reviews from the Ford Dealership and professional pictures from a certified mechanic. They now as of Today; September 18, 2020, said there is nothing they can do, they will NOT make this right with the customer, and will not fix it. They said "We waited too long." mind you all phone calls are documented. They sold a car for $9,000 cash, Kelly blue book retails for a maximum of $6,000 in good condition, and there is $4,000 worth of things that need to be fixed to make this car drivable. They constantly lied stating their owners were out of town every other week; and that is being their reason for not getting back to us. DO NOT go here they will take your money and sell you a lemon. I will personally not go here for a "used" car nor suggest any of my friends or family purchase a vehicle from here. I implore you to look elsewhere for a used vehicle since J & C Auto Sales have no ethics and take absolutely NO responsibility for their actions let alone sales. Hi there, I want everyone in Macomb and Oakland and Wayne county to know the J & C Auto in Eastpointe are crooks. My son purchased a Jeep from them along with a warranty the was supposed to cover pretty much everything. The cost for the warranty was $2,000. From the beginning there were issues with the Jeep, the warranty said they wouldn't cover it. There's is another big issue with the Jeep that they said they would not cover. The warranty place said they would give us a partial refund and J & C said they would give us the difference which is around $500. I talked with Katie at, J&C aft least 8 times, she assured me I would get the rest of my money. I had to be patient she said. 6 Months later no money and pretty much was told too bad your loss. These people are serious crooks and people should stay away. I also submitted my complaint through the BBB, not surprising I received notification that they refused to respond. I left a deposit for a truck in cash, went to get the deposit back and I was told they would mail me a check. I have been waiting for the check since 10/11/16, they told me it was sent, then told me it was sent on 10/18/16 as it was lost in a bag. I called on 10/21/16 to inform them that I still had not received the check. I asked for a stop payment and the lady Katie said that cost money, I said it was a personal problem and she proceeded to repeat what I said and hung up the phone on me. I called back and a male answered the phone and he asked who it was then he proceeded to yell at me and hung up the phone . I called again and he called me a " stupid M---Fer" and he hung up on me again. When I was checking on the car a man was in there saying his car overheated and caught on fire after a week. Three days after I bought a car, the fuel pump harness wrapped around the driveshaft, causing the car to immediately stop while driving! My mechanic thinks it was rigged or not installed properly, and recently. Within 10 days and two more repairs (and more I am putting off because of cost), I asked the owner if he would at least have a rear end fluid leak repaired. He indicated that I was probably lying and I could've created a fake receipt for the $600 I had already paid in repairs.
