During my inspection I was notified that I needed to change my right rear tire. I could not afford $300+ at Firestone so I trusted Tire Guys. Huge mistake. I went to the Selden location in 11/5/2025 to get a tire. They charged me $125 +tax. Everything went smoothly. On 11/11 I was driving on the LIE headed east to a Drs appointment and my car kept having engine issues and my tailgate sensors and engine sensors were going off at an alarming rate. I made it to my appointment. After I left the appointment I drove slow and got my car home. I take my car back to Firestone in 11/12 and they tell me they noticed I got a tire replacement and I acknowledged. They told me to go back to Tire Guys immediately because Tire Guys put the wrong size tire on my car and that caused issues with my All Wheel Drive system. I went back and the Manager was not professional. He did not want to believe that the tire was incorrectly installed and refused to initially go outside and check my tire. I told him that he was being crazy towards me and I'm the one that should be hostile and angry yet I'm calm. He sent another young tech out to verify the tire was incorrect and it indeed was. The tire was changed free of charge but it didn't matter because the damage was already done. Now my car is not repairable due to a high cost. My car now requires cylinder replacement and a new engine which is not a reasonable repair. Now I have to replace my vehicle 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. The part that upset me the most is the lack of accountability. How can this shop completely install the wrong size tire on my AWD SUV and not even want to be responsible? I wasn't making it up and I had documentation and photos to back my claim. For all this I could have just paid the $300 and gotten my tire fixed at Firestone. This was the worst car experience I've ever experienced in my life. And this car hardship is now in is ruining my holiday season. Please avoid this place at all costs. It's not even worth the risk, I don't care how affordable it is. I worked with Richie and Taylor on this replacement. Richie's demeanor completely unprofessional and uncalled for.

Another time my husband gave me a coupon he had for a special they were running for an oil change, which is what I was bringing my car in for. I usually speak with Stephanie, in customer service, at the front desk. She is the nicest person and the epitome of what customer service should be. She goes out of her way to accomodate you and is extremely efficient! This particular day though, I dealt with Aggie, part owner of Pinky's. The coupon was for part synthetic oil but my car took full synthetic oil so Aggie told me the cost beforehand, which wasn't really much more anyway! Another time, my tire had a slow leak because I ran over a nail. My tire was patched and a year later it's still fine. My daughter has a 2013 Hyundai which has needed a lot of work over the past year. Mark diagnosed everything accurately and made the necessary repairs at a very reasonable price with a long term warranty! I also have to comment on the waiting area and bathroom as I'm one to pay attention to detail. The waiting area is clean and tidy with a TV and snack machine so it's very comfortable should you choose to wait for your car. The bathroom is also very clean and tidy and.... there's PINK toilet paper!!! That's just awesome!! If you are looking for a great and honest Mechanic, your search stops here! I would give Pinky's 10++ stars if I could. My entire family will only bring their cars to Pinky's to be servicedI We will never trust anyone else!

My car is out of warranty, so going to the dealer is not economically wise due to the markups. Ronk's prices are competitive with but is more affordable than the dealer's. Above all, Mike is honest and stands by his work. For example, in the Fall of 2018, Ronk replaced my brakes and rotors. This Spring, my brakes squeaked consistently during the rain, and Mike inspected them and explained that the brakes are good and function well; and that sometimes they squeak when constantly wet. He is certainly right because it is summer now, and my brakes no longer make noise. Lastly, Mike the owner is friendly and jovial. His customers and employees enjoy his jokes and outgoing personality. I highly recommend Ronk Auto for your routine maintenance needs.
