She made me feel so comfortable like she's an old friend of mine. She answered all my intro level waxing questions with so much patience, and told me not to wry abt anything. Unlike my previous at home painful waxing experience , the waxing she did for me was quick and did not hurt at all!!!! Don't get me wrong, it was a nice quick job with professionalism and attention. The facial was also great. But it was so soothing and calming, I almost fell asleep, so I didn't talk to my facial tech that much. But it was absolutely a great job, my face looked so clean and it was literally glowing afterwards. It was not a big salon, but it was very clean, and the decor was even cute. They play very soothing music in the waxing and facial room, or it also can be your choice of music. Every girl there is awesome! As long as you get thereC you'll be in good hands. The first couple of wax salons in Lafayette I went to were fine, but nothing special... But then I found Sphynx Waxing Studio, and ladies, I'm telling you: Kelly is hands-down the BEST waxologist I've EVER HAD!! Kelly is attentive, caring, and knowledgeable: she gives the best tips on how to manage in between waxes to prevent ingrown hairs. She clearly cares about her customers, too -- even when I couldn't make it in for a few months, she remembered me & the family drama I told her about during our very first appointment. She makes the process as painless as possible, too. There's still some discomfort involved (she's ripping out hairs, after all) but she knows how to get it done quickly and gently. The best part, though, is Kelly's fun vibe. She's by far the friendliest and warmest wax professional I've ever met -- every time I go to her for a wax, I end up cracking up because she is HILARIOUS.
