Got my eyebrows and sideburns threaded the other day, and both were SO uneven. She seemed rushed and angry and kept repeating for me to wear a face mask. Now I have to go get them waxed somewhere else to correct them. Plus it's supposed to be a dollar off if you pay with Apple Pay, as their sign says, but she didn't add that discount. read more

Dropped by on a weekday afternoon for eyebrow and forehead threading. On arrival was greeted by the not-so-pleasant Mona. I've never encountered anyone who threads as quickly as she does, and I don't mean that in a good way. She basically rushed through it, and I had to ask her to go back to certain areas. The baby hair on my forehead kept getting caught in her thread as she didn't bother to ensure my hair was out of my face. They usually use some kind of cooling/soothing lotion after threading, but she only used tissue paper dipped in ?water. It is very cheap, paid about $5 for the above. I may go back given how cheap they are, but I'd definitely ask for someone else next time. read more

Honestly there's nothing special about this place, but I'll pick it every time. The woman who owns this place is simply so sweet, and she always does a great job. She even recommends tips for healthy skin and eyebrows! Price is good at 8 dollars. She has very particular hours, so check before you go. I just moved here from the SF Bay Area and was a little unsure if I wanted to get my brows done over here but they were getting too messy so I decided to try it out. I was originally going to go to the Pro Brow place in Lafayette since they had more reviews and better ones but I had an event that day and ran out of time to go over there so I went here instead. I might just be used to having more experienced people doing my brows from living near the city and I am a little bit of a perfectionist but I don't think my brows turned out very well at all. One was thinner than the other!! I usually just get them cleaned up but she thinned them out too when my brows are already thin and not very full!! Maybe if you have thick brows and want them thinner come here but I need all the brow I can get. I normally go makeup free most days but now I feel like I should fill them in so at least they'll be the same thickness. :/ maybe if this was the 90s I'd be happy with my results? read more

Great place to get threading done! Best pricing around campus area. She does a great job and is very friendly. You can be in and out if you'd like or she's great to chat with! Parking is always available right outside next to the silver Dipper or it's just a short walk from campus. read more

This place is horrible. I'm from NYC so I'm used to good eyebrow threading and the service here was substandard. The lady working here was rude and non-welcoming, the shop was very warm and not air conditioned, and she did a rushed and sloppy job. Never going here again. read more

Indian Eyebrow is a small shop next to the Silver Dipper Ice Cream Shop. Eyebrow threading is only $8, the golden price for threading in NYC. The woman was kind and relaxing, but was really fast in figuring out my brows. I walked in really excited for great service based on all of glittering reviews, when I arrived there was a woman sitting in the back bedroom coughing. She told me to have a seat and someone would be out in a minute, so I sat in the waiting area. The woman came out and just stood there she didn't say anything so I said hi and she responded likewise. I didn't think she could possibly be a worker there because she was visibly sick and coughing into her hand without a single drop of hand sanitizer to be found. So I just stayed put, I mean who comes in sick to work on peoples faces. Then she snapped, "are you going to sit or what". I was taken back but I just brushed it off and thought to myself there goes your tip. I sit down and she tells me to scoot up, I scoot and she says it again, this time with impatience, although at this point I am taking over the whole chair. Keep in mind I am 5 foot 2 and the chair is small so I don't know where she thought I was going to be able to go. But I scoot up again and she yells, "ALL THE WAY," at this point I really don't care and I scoot up another millimeter. When she begins she tells me to hold my eye down, I guess she didn't like the way I held it because she makes the decision to grab my hand and man handle me rather than use her words or demonstrate. I naturally close my hand up because at this point it starts to feel like I am being physically attacked. She starts yelling, "FINGERS, FINGERS!" as she keeps trying to put my hand on my face. At that point I have to snatch my hand back and just say, "I'm good, I'm going to go." I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, they don't treat you like a human, they don't even treat you like a dog. Having a sick woman cough in her hand then use that unwashed hand on your face is just asking to catch something, or worse she could cough while working close to your eye and you could get pink eye. read more

I'm a fifth year senior at Purdue and I've been coming here since my freshman year. Almost always available as soon as I walk in. Nice, friendly, and does a fabulous job. It has really improved the last couple times I've been there. Definitely worth 9$ every 3-4 weeks. read more
