I needed a pedicure so I searched for the closest salon and this came up. I popped in and was able to get a pedi immediately. I later learned that they work mainly on appointments so I was lucky to get right in. Great service and friendly people. read more

I paid 67$ for a pedicure & gel polish. It's less than 24 hours later, & I have tons of dry skin on my feet &&&, my gel polish is coming off. I walked in to tell them, & they didn't seem to care. They even offered me the SAME MAN who messed up my toes to begin with. seriously? Don't waste your $$$$ read more

I wrote my first review 3 years ago and just want to add that I continue to use this salon- it's the best in town! Very hygienic, and they have new massaging chairs that massage the entire body-they are fantastic! John and Kim are consistently kind and I have never once had a poor experience. Highly recommend! read more

I had a great time here. I got a very simple gel color and the manicure was amazing and super relaxing. Loved the atmosphere of the salon. I would definitely come back! read more

Store opens at 11am not 10am. Quiet and quick. He is tedious about his work but not perfect so make sure if you're particular about sections of uneven paint or things like that to remind him in order for him to pay special attention. Very nice. Not the biggest selection of polish but has plenty. Doesn't do anything other than nails (meaning no waxing etc) read more

I have been many places to get my nails done here locally, but none make me feel so welcome and important. I started after Covid so I make an appointment and have never had to wait. They do an excellent job and a even get a hand massage with my fill, which I have found is an amazing plus not many offer! The price is comparable, but the service blows the rest away! read more

I went in for a simple dip powder manicure that (should've taken 30/45 minutes) ended up taking over 1.5 hours. When finished, my nails weren't filed correctly at all ( didn't even resemble coffin shape), were DULL with only 3 or 4 nails being shiny, and the technician didn't even cover the whole nail so most of the edges were rough with powder still showing. So disappointed, not worth all the money. read more

First time in Sunny Nails, John did an excellent job for a delux spa pedicure. Warm towels, rub and wax on heels. Very comforting and relaxing. I will definitely be back. Thanks again read more

My dip manicure looks horrible. My manicure was rushed and done very poorly. Polish all over my cuticles and around my nail. It is uneven and when asked to fix it, color was just dipped on top of the errors. Will not be coming back. Would not recommend. read more

Still a great place! Kim and John are so friendly, and I really appreciate their commitment to personal attention.

I've been to almost every nail salon in West Lafayette/Lafayette area and to me this is the best one overall. They have quality nail polish and I've never had a bad experience here. Now the reason why they are getting 4 stars is because it's a husband and wife team and they are the only ones there so wait can be very long if you don't call ahead. Other than that I like them, they give a card for repeat customers for 20% off after I believe 4 or 6 times. This will be my go to nail salon for here. read more

Found this place by chance based on yelp reviews. They were able to get me and my sister in for a manicure at very short notice. They were super friendly and did a perfect job on my quite less than perfect nails. I was really impressed by how much they do for only a $15 manicure. They even do paraffin wax treatments, which is super cool. They also have loyalty cards, which I always appreciate. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be going back. read more

Great service. I went here based on the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Kim and her husband (?) own and operate this nail salon. It's just the two of them, and man oh man do they know what they're doing. Looking for a way to treat myself while visiting Lafayette, I called and made an appointment here for a manicure and pedicure (they don't take walk ins). I got there and it was just me. I was seated right away. Kim was meticulous. She gave me an unexpected paraffin wax treatment for my feet, exfoliated my legs, wrapped my legs in warm towels, and massaged my legs and feet separately. It was very relaxing. My manicure was just as nice. She shaped my nails perfectly and took her time painting them. The drying process was much quicker than I've experienced most of the time, no fans, just UV light. After three days and a kayak trip my nails still look great. The price for everything I got and the precise work and sweet service was very very reasonable. Even though I'm from out of town, Kim gave me a members' card. She was also very easy to talk to and took a real interest in getting to know me. What a lovely experience! I'll be back in Lafayette in the future and will definitely be back. read more

I have been going here for a long time and I love this place. Treat me like a friend and know my name even though I only go once in a while. I have very sensitive nails and they have never hurt me and sadly that is impressive. Everywhere else I have been usually burns me or cuts me. Will never go anywhere else. read more

First I call to schedule an appointment and they ask if the nails are for my "girlfriend" and not myself just because my voice is masculine that automatically makes me straight? That should've been my first red flag to not go in but with the 4 star overall review I figured to give this place a shot. Set an appointment indicating I wanted stiletto acrylic set with polish before coming in. When I came in he quickly sat me down and just started working on my nails without clarifying what I wanted. Not to mention every tool attachment he put on he dropped on the floor, picked up the piece and just continued doing my nails. Not only unhygienic but super unprofessional. When he was done putting the set on he goes "okay we are done, no color right?" and I said no I was told that you could do a full set with polish. Putting the polish on was rushed, there were a ton of bumps, and after it was done setting with the amount of imperfections they didn't want to fix it because the next appointment came in. Not like that has much of a factor because the moment I came through the door it was like they wanted to do the fastest and poorest craftsmanship of nails I have experienced. Save your money, save your time, and go to another nail salon that upholds more professionalism. Not even the common courtesy to clean the nail polish off my skin and telling me to "wash it at home". read more

After reading the great reviews for this nail salon, my mom and I decided to go there to try something new. (I usually go to Bella Nails). I called the # listed TWICE to make an appointment and there was no answer. It just kept ringing. So, my mom and I drove over there, walked in, and asked to have Mani/pedis. There was no one waiting in line ahead of us, and only two customers being pampered right then. The woman working in the salon sounded irritated and rudely said to me "You need to call first and make an appointment." I told her I had called twice and no one would answer. She just gave me this crooked smile and went back to what she was doing. How rude! If I could give this salon a zero star rating, I would. They don't even deserve one star. Wow, how rude. No wonder the place was practically deserted! read more

Love the spa pedicure here! The wax is amazing for rough feet like mine! Not many Pedicure places around town offer the wax option that they have! Well worth the extra money!!! And Kim and John are great people! So friendly, warm and welcoming. I love that they don't take walk ins too! I've been to other places where I'll have an appointment but then have to wait 15-20 minutes because they took a walk in person 5-10 minutes before my appointment. Not at Sunny Nails! They honor their appointment times. They don't overbook. They give you the time and attention your individual feet or hands need! read more

The BEST pedicure I have ever gotten. I highly recommend. They are kind, the place is quiet, and they do paraffin masks!!! Paraffin masks on your feet. My feet have never been so soft. Only $26 for the best pedicure. read more

Sunny Nails is my new go to favorite. The prices are reasonable, and I'm always one of the only ones in the shop. I always make an appointment, and like others, have seen some walk ins get turned away. The first time there, I got a spa pedi and a gel mani, and it was $60 - very reasonable. The second time, I got a regular pedi and a french gel mani, and it was also $60 - and well worth it. I'm on my third week on my mani, and plan to push it to 4 ...I definitely recommend Sunny Nails. read more

My favorite!! They give the best pedicure and have hot wax. They don't rush like a lot of other places I've been. I haven't been anywhere else since I found this place. I've never seen them accept a walk in though, so make an appointment! read more

I only have good things to say about the experience we had at Sunny Nails. We booked three pedicures, and when we arrived, they promptly sat us and began the pampering. The basic pedicure includes a soak, foot care, lotion massage, paraffin wax dip, and polish, all for only $26 plus tip. The salon is very clean and they were very hygienic with their tools as they performed the pedicure. I will certainly be heading back many times in the future! read more

I am 32 weeks pregnant and can't reach my feet to save my life right now. Needless to say they were starting to look like troll feet. I went to Sunny Nails for the first time based on the Yelp! reviews for a Spa Pedicure. I've had several pedicures at numerous places throughout the area but I have never had one this amazing. The deluxe spa pedicure included foot and calf massage plus hot paraffin wax treatment for the soles and heels and hot towels on the calves. The entire experience was wonderful and relaxing. My calves were aching when I went in due to pregnancy night cramps. By the time I left my legs and feet felt so wonderful. The massage even helped some of the pregnancy swelling in my ankles and feet go away. John even knew that I was new there and gave me a frequent customer card without me asking. I think he knew that I had found my permanent nail salon. It's the only place I'll go from now on. read more

I called them on a Thursday and they said the next appointment they had was Saturday at 3 pm. I planned my entire Saturday around this appointment, walked in, and they first told me to come back later. I told them I couldn't come back later and that is why I made an APPOINTMENT, they looked in their book and said they don't have a 3 pm appointment and showed me that they have someone else at 3:30 so they could only do a pedicure OR a manicure and I needed both for an event tomorrow. They even said I had the wrong nail salon so I pulled up the number I called to make the appointment and they confirmed it was their number. Since they ONLY take appointments and not walk-ins (per the person I spoke with on the phone), I would say skip this one because they don't even write your information down. read more

Avoid at all cost! They are rude, make appointments and then tell you they never talked to you. "Ok, see you sic twenty" we arrived and she says we never called. And then being the unprofessional person she is, she turns us away. We took our business elsewhere and so should you! Try A+ , way better job and better service! read more

Amazing gel manicure! I had them done over 2 weeks ago and they still look great! Definitely my new go to place in the Lafayette area.

very sweet workers and great service. didn't have any wait. great prices too! my nails look nice but i am ranking a 4/5 because of the lack of dip powder colors. read more

Loved it! Felt pampered in a very unobtrusive way. I was worried because a guy did my pedicure and I had a bad experience at another salon with a male pedicurist but he was awesome. Can't wait to go back read more

Good work, bad service. The pedicure and manicure bowls had residue in the water they used to provide my services and both owners were rude.

Highly recommend! Best place in Lafayette to get your nails done. My nails always look flawless and it's such a great deal. This couple is great ! read more

Pretty much appointment only as they are run by a husband/wife duo. Pedi is fantastic - they do a good job plus they treat you to a leg scrub, leg/foot rub, and parafin wax treatment. Good manicure. Best place in town. read more

This was my second pedicure ever, and I really enjoyed it. I picked this location based on Yelp reviews; I called the morning of and got a reservation for me and my friend at 5:30. Apparently appointments are only by reservation, since only Kim and John work at Sunny Nails and they can't attend multiple customers by themselves. As the other reviews mention, Kim did warm towels on calves and exfoliation and wax masks on my feet, and various types of oils and lotions on both calves and feet. I would have preferred a little more exfoliation on my heels, but that's ok. The place was very clean and Kim and John are quiet but friendly. The pedicure (with French tips) was $32, which is very reasonable compared to the other local businesses. read more

Friendly, professional, efficient, thorough for a "basic" price compared to many other places. I'll be going back for pedicures in the future, especially with the fun reward card! read more
