From the person that took our intake, Terry, until the time of the service, the communication has been polite, thorough, and useful. There were no hard sell tactics. I now know why. There is no need. Shaquille J was the professional that did our pest control work for us today. I think that the best thing I could say about him is that I would be proud were I his father (my kids are his age). In his work, he was thorough and knowledgeable. He even went out of his way to get behind things I had inadvertently placed in the way. As a person, he is special. He is exceedingly polite and well spoken. He listens very well. I also appreciated his patience. My wife and I basically told him the same story about our concerns without knowing he had been told by the other. He politely listened, asked appropriate questions, was appreciative of the info, and did not let on that the conversation was a rerun (though, admittedly, my wife's was more detail rich). I am grateful for the professionalism and kindness shown by the employees of this company. That speaks well of owner/management also as it is clearly a culture that values good work and customer service. I was a little reluctant to change services because we liked our previous company's technician. We were not fond of the business side of that national company, but sometimes 'the Devil you know is better than the Devil you don't." In this instance, that maxim does not hold. After many frustrating phone calls to other pest control places, all while killing wasps in my kitchen left and right, they were able to squeeze me in same day! They were quick to come out and help me! They sprayed all the areas outside my home and really soaked all the high activity wasp areas. They also treated my attic with was really great too! I've had a contract (their Premium 365 service) with Reliant Termite & Pest Control since March…read more2021 and so far they've always been prompt, professional, proactive in scheduling each quarterly service call and I've not had a single complaint. Until.... I was supposed to have a quarterly service back in late February but I never heard from them, which was odd as they've always been proactive, so I called them (2-26). It went to VM but I couldn't leave a VM because their mailbox was full. The few times I needed to call them for something that never happened so this was a first. Since then I've called eight times (I have the call long on my phone as proof) and their VM is full and it disconnects. Which begs the question: Is this company still in business??? Side note: Their Crowley office is a little over a mile from where I live so it's no big deal to drive by while I'm out running errands, which I did a couple weeks ago. This was around 10:30 AM or thereabout and there were two company trucks parked in front of the building and the office door was locked. Having never been to their office before I don't know if this is normal but when you take into account that phone calls go to VM which is full, it does make you wonder if they are still in business.
