Follow their IG and go to Kakaako farmers market on Saturday morning. PROtip: you can message her on IG and pre-order and pick up at Kakaako Farmers market. IF you dont pre-order then go early as they do sell out. One of the best mochi! Always fresh and delicious! I love supporting local and her mochi is delicious! I think my favorite is chocolate peanut butter but she recently had a pumpkin mochi that was yummy too! Delicious homemade made mochi definitely recommend!

The mochi is so good!! I saw their stand at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market and they were almost sold out at 11 am. I went with the pumpkin spice mochi, which was a seasonal flavor. The mochi is perfectly soft and chewy. The pumpkin spice flavor was spot on.

Izu's Mochi at the Kakaʻako Farmers Market is, in my opinion, the best mochi on the island! You can find them every Saturday morning, but make sure to go early as they often sell out quickly. They have a rotating menu of flavors, but my favorites are the peanut butter chocolate and the matcha. Absolutely delicious! Waiting all week just to satisfy my mochi craving can be tough! LOL

You're never going to have better mochi in your life. I will put my life on it It's not that fake ass frozen ice cream mochi. This is the real deal, freshly made each morning, chewy pull apart mochi I got it from the market's on Saturday in downtown. The lady behind the counter was sweet and wasn't putting up with my bullshit when I tried to bargain with her for a deal on 20 of them. I think she shoulddddd do a buy 10 get two free type deal but that's just me It's a tiny little stand with just a case of all the mochi that is kept clean with a ton of flavor options. Eating it fresh, outside at the market on the curb is the exact way these were meant to be Every single one was absolutely bomb and delicious. Highly recommend the cookie butter

The main reason why I even visit the farmer's market is because of Izu's Mochi. The best time to visit is first thing in the morning to ensure best parking and best selection. Also be sure to not park in other businesses' parking lots to avoid an unplanned tow to the yard. Izu's Mochi is always such a perfect gift to give and receive. When you support this business, you know you won't be disappointed from the service and aesthetic presentation.

Not your ordinary mochi... Izu's is found here bright and early at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market every Saturday and there's always a long long line which deters me and seeing each item sell out one by one on the regular. Today as I decide to arrive early was delight to see practically no one and decided to peek what they had to offer. The varieties of Mochi is the fun part the case which holds the filled mochi with various flavors are $3 with the exception of Azuki Strawberry the also have mini Mochi variety pack that are bite sized and super adorable and what I got today is their chi chi dango...matcha of course. Great prices with super fun flavors is why they're rock stars and so excited I secured a pack to start my weekend. The vibe here is a delight and this freshly made treat is not to be missed. Thank you!

If you are ever at the Kaka'ako Famers Market, you HAVE TO stop by Izu's Mochi!!! This place makes the best mochi I've had on island so far. There are so many different flavors! My favorite is the matcha one! The mochi itself is nice and soft. It is topped with like a matcha icing and then filled with like a matcha pudding. So for matcha lovers, it's perfect! Not only is the mochi amazing, but the prices are great too! I've seen other mochi places that charge upward of $8 for one mochi! But each flavored mochi is only $3 (except for the strawberry one, that one is $5). So good food and great prices, what more could you ask for?! Oh yeah, good service! Haha. Every time I've gone to pick up my mochi, I've always been greeted warmly and with a smile. Always a good experience. Whenever I am in town at this farmers market, I ALWAYS stop by Izu's. NOTE: You might want to get there early. I went an hour before the market closed last week and they were sold out of pretty much everything. (Because everything is so good that's why:)

Izu's mochi is very yummy. Lots of flavors to try out. She's very creative with her mochi. The customer is very friendly and kind. Hope to see more creativity.

What the heck -- 5 stars! If you haven't swung by Izu's Mochi at the Kakaako Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning, you're seriously missing out. This spot boasts the best mochi on the island, and I can confidently say it lives up to the hype Arrive early because this place is no secret. They tend to sell out quickly, especially because their mochis are freshest in the morning. My top recommendation? Go for the daifuku mochi. It's a delightful treat with a whole strawberry and azuki bean filling that perfectly balances sweet and satisfying. The medium or large size is just right for getting the full experience Don't stop there, though. Make sure to try some of their other flavors (e.g. lilikoi) as well--each one is crafted with care and tastes like a little piece of mochi heaven

We discovered this shop at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market. All I can say is, Oishii!!! My favorites are the Lilikoi and Strawberry mochi. The mochi is so fresh and soft. The centers were filled with deliciousness. It was one of the best things I've tried at the market.

Tasty, pretty, melts in your mouth! We got a bit of each from Izu's @ the Kakaako Farmers Market. The Market opens at 8:00am. There is always a line. We were able to get the last pack if assorted mini Mochi. The minis were filled with flavors including matcha, chocolate peanut butter, coconut, and Azuki. They were out of the small Michi filled with a strawberry and Azuki so we got the large ones and the small coconut. 10/30/21 Instagram Pre-ordered Halloween treat!!!so cute!! She has a separate line for Pre-order pick ups. It's great after refrigeration. Just leave them out to room temperature!

Support Small Local Business! Gigantic Fresh Strawberry Mochi was a surprise treat from my friend, Lisa M. I hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch yet, so, these gigantic mochi were perfectly filling and healthy plus tasty all in one! The strawberries were sweetly tart while the azuki bean paste held the soft mochi creation together! When I saw the strawberry mochi, my heart was excited for my tummy! I don't know where she got the mochi. Lisa Special Ordered it from Izu's Mochi and brought it to our meeting. One box held two pieces and - in the plastic container - was a set of six mochi. We ate two mochi each which came out to a $10 snack. Yum yum! From Lyla D.'s review, you can find this vendor at the Kakaako Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. I may have to stop by soon and try the other flavors!

Feel it with your fingers. Caress it gently with your lips. So soft and supple. You quiver with anticipation as you close your lips around its powdery surface and take in the gently sweet aroma, then the explosion of pleasures. Texture. The outer layer of the soft but very glutinous mochi yields to a softer core often with contrasting textural ingredients. Ie coconut creme with toasted coconut and crushed macadamia nuts mixed in. Flavor. Gentle sweetness of the mochi gives way to a pronounced flavor core of filling. Ie mildly flavored matcha infused mochi with an intensely flavored bitter sweet core of matcha flavored white bean paste. A hint of salt in most fillings boosts the flavor. Complexity. Chew it and release different levels of intensity and flavor. Izu Mochi is outstanding. Though made from rice flour, the mochi is heavily worked to greatly increase the gluten. Japanese level sweetness (1/4 of your typical American confection). Local Hawaii flavors (the coconut described above, or Okinawan sweet potato). Both tsubushi an and koshi an (coarse and smooth red bean paste), are excellent with very well controlled sweetness and just the right amount of salt Kinako, very good with pronounced roasted, nutty flavors. $2 each. Buy them all for a tasting and enjoy with tea. Follow on IG for new flavors. Special orders welcome. Cards through Square. Next to the Two Ladies Kitchen, and what my mom makes (I have to say that), this is at the top of the mochi mound in Hawaii.

Sold out on many by the time I came around 10

This one popped up often on YouTube, and as luck would have it, we were dining at The Pig & The Lady on the next block. How calorifically convenient. We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece.
