I came across one of the best pandesal in Las Pinas when I decided to walk home from work one day. An overwhelming smell of freshly baked bread filled the street and it came from Iyanna Bakery, a small stall dedicated only to selling Pandesal and homemade peanut butter.
The pandesal was Php2.00 each and slightly bigger than a ping-pong ball. I bought a dozen and got a peanut butter too. As soon as the lady handed me the paper bag, I took a bite and whoa... It was hot, soft as cotton, and it tastes amazing. Now the homemade peanut butter was just okay for Php10.00 each, it's approximately 2 heaped tablespoons and placed in a small plastic container.
The peanut oil was collected on top so it needs stirring prior to use. It was peanutty with just the right amount of sweetness.Iyanna Bakery's products were delicious, but for their staff, it doesn't hurt to smile once in a while specially people would appreciate friendly faces in the morning. read more
