The salon offered to redo the service, which I appreciated, but doing so required me to fit another hour-and-a-half appointment into an already busy travel schedule. Unfortunately, the second service produced disappointing results as well. Within two days, the gel polish began chipping on multiple nails making me question whether there is an issue with the products being used. My mother-in-law had an appointment at the same time and her manicure was visibly streaky. The salon also told me they would follow up the day after the redo to see how the manicure was holding up, but I never heard from anyone. The services totaled $200 before gratuity. At that price point, I expect products, application, and overall quality to be held to a much higher standard. While I appreciate the salon's willingness to redo the original service, the repeat failure, the lack of follow-up, and the additional quality issues we experienced left me disappointed and unable to recommend this salon for gel manicure services.

At my first appointment, I showed a reference photo of exactly what I wanted. The technician never asked me what shape or length I wanted, and I ended up with nails that were completely different from the reference photo. I brought up my concerns that same day, but I was told the manager wasn't there and that there was nothing the staff could do at the time. The next time I came in, I explained everything to the manager. She told me they would correct my nails and make sure I was happy, so I agreed to have them redone. Based on that conversation, I believed they were going to make the situation right. Had I been told beforehand that there would be no adjustment whatsoever for correcting the previous service, I would have simply gone somewhere else. After my nails were redone, no price adjustment was made. On top of that, I noticed I was being overcharged by an additional $10 based on the price of the services I received. When I tried to address everything with the manager, she told me I should have complained on the day of my original appointment and that there was nothing she could do. I explained that I did complain that day, but her employees told me the manager wasn't there. At that point, I stopped disputing the original service and tried to explain that I would pay what they were asking, but that the bill for this visit was still $10 higher than it should have been. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a significant communication disconnect, and I ultimately paid the amount they requested and left. What bothers me most isn't simply that I didn't like my original nails. Mistakes and misunderstandings happen. It's how the situation was handled afterward. I brought up the problem immediately, returned after being told they would correct it and make me happy, and then was later told I should have said something on the original day when I had already done exactly that. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning. If I had known that their idea of "fixing" the situation meant I would still be responsible for the full cost with no adjustment, I would have taken my business elsewhere. The additional $10 overcharge on the second visit only made an already frustrating experience worse.

I'm a quiet person and like to watch Youtube when getting serviced and she's totally cool with it-- no pressure to make conversation. She's professional, personable, and pays attention to detail. She tracks my visits and gives me a free pedicure after every 10th visit. I live nearby and walk because the parking lot can get really busy. But, if the lot is ever full there is street parking in the residential streets beside the plaza. I like to treat myself to an iced coffee from the local shop next door before walking back home.
