Since living in the greater Seattle area, I've been having a really hard time finding a cryotherapy business that gets cold enough for upper extremities and it kind of requires a little investigating because there's a lot of options. There's electric versus nitrogen and there's coming in through your feet, there's fans circulating up at various levels. Here we have nitrogen with the cold coming in from the feet with no fans getting it upward . You usually get a temperature check to see where you are before you go in and where you are when you come out to see how effective it was. I came specifically for upper body and I opted for the coldest. My lower extremities were 'freezing' at 43° while my upper extremities were like 60.. So obviously not effective. I would've had to crouch down at the floor level to try to have any kind of impact in a positive way to my upper body, but then I felt like I'd be at risk of touching the walls which could cause freezer burn. So unfortunately, their set up is not for me though they do offer other things that other people probably would love like the IV therapy, sauna, red light therapy, homeopathic natural doctor and staff is really friendly.

Years later, after a truck smashed into me and I was in pain that my doctor nor massage therapist simply were not able to help with, I was recommended to Dr. Kobata. I was skeptical remembering my previous bad experiences but I was to the point of trying anything. I'm glad I set up an appointment with Dr. Kobata! For the first time, I felt like a person being cared for rather than easy insurance money. Dr. Kobata and team were welcoming and did everything they could to work with my busy work schedule. The office was relaxing and welcoming while the treatments helped relieve my pain. I got to a point where I simply wasn't getting any more out of chiropractor-style medicine and rather than continue with appointments, Dr Kobata referred me to another specialist to go deeper. That to me is a sign of a true health care professional and I greatly appreciated the candidness and eagerness to get my health on track. Completely unexpected! Even though I had moved on, working with a specialist, it had been some time from that point to when my lawyer was finalizing things with the insurance company, Dr. Kobata really came through once again for me and went on record to ensure my case was solid. My lawyer reached out to me to say just how impactful his message was and how he fought for me. Bottom line, I highly recommend Dr. Kobata and should I need a chiropractor, he would be be first and only one to call. Thank you Dr. Kobata for all that you did for me, I'm truly grateful!

The infrared saunas here are hot but a nice way to relax and detox!…read more I received a gift card to try this place out from an acquaintance, so decided to swing by. We booked an infrared sauna session (sweat with a friend) for the evening. This location is tucked away in a small strip mall and once you arrive, you are greeted, sign a form, and remove your shoes before entering the main area. The sauna space was nicely organized. There are sauna booths that are separated and have a little bit of space diretly in front of the sauna entrance covered by a curtain that allows you to undress and store your belongings. In our space, we had a timer, a call button for the front desk, a mini fridge with cold hand towels, a sign with all the different color options for the chromotherapy, and a small bench/basket for your belongings. As someone who does not regularly go to saunas, I had to take several breaks throughout the 45-minute session, but it definitely did its job and had me sweating! We enjoyed being able to adjust the colors for the chromotherapy as well. After our session, we were able to rinse off in the shower, and there is a sand room in the back where they set up some non-caffeinated tea for you to decompress. I enjoyed this part because the sand was so smooth and soft, and they do their best to create a calm ambience in the room even if you are just looking at a mural of the ocean. Some downsides for me personally: I felt the space was a bit small and cramped. Each sauna and other offered services are in small box-like rooms that aren't full rooms (the walls do not reach the ceiling). There was only one shower room, and the sand room was a bit tight (only 4 seats). I'd be curious to see if the other locations have a similar or different layout. Additionally, because the walls of the rooms do not reach the ceiling, nothing is soundproof. You can still hear some noise from other folks while in your sauna and are encouraged to keep noise to a minimum to maintain a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Lastly, I believe there is supposed to be a way to connect a bluetooth device in your sauna as advertised on the website, but we couldn't really figure out and weren't sure if it was a good idea to bring any devices in as it was super hot. That said, it wasn't something we absolutely needed so we just decided to hop in and enjoy the sweat. We enjoyed our infrared sauna and would recommend it if it is something you are looking to do regularly. It looked like they had several different membership options that give you access to different services each month.

I've seen Nichole Geary for more than 10 chiropractic sessions over two separate treatment periods. She is attentive, takes time to understand how you're progressing, and adjusts each treatment based on your current symptoms rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. What impressed me most is her thoughtful, patient-centered care. She's also willing to recommend other therapies, such as laser therapy or acupuncture, when she believes they may help your recovery. I've experienced significant improvement during both treatment periods. I also appreciate that treatments are provided in private rooms rather than in an open treatment area. The front desk staff has always been friendly and helpful, but there are a few areas where the clinic could improve. Appointment confirmations are sent only by text (not email), massage appointments can be difficult to schedule, scheduling isn't centralized across multiple locations, and there isn't an online billing portal where patients can view invoices. Those administrative issues keep me from giving the clinic five stars. However, Nichole Geary's excellent care is the reason I continue coming back, and I highly recommend her.

My biggest complaint has to be the fact myself and another patient were told not to eat kale and greens because they supposedly cause inflammation.
