The infrared saunas here are hot but a nice way to relax and detox!…read more I received a gift card to try this place out from an acquaintance, so decided to swing by. We booked an infrared sauna session (sweat with a friend) for the evening. This location is tucked away in a small strip mall and once you arrive, you are greeted, sign a form, and remove your shoes before entering the main area. The sauna space was nicely organized. There are sauna booths that are separated and have a little bit of space diretly in front of the sauna entrance covered by a curtain that allows you to undress and store your belongings. In our space, we had a timer, a call button for the front desk, a mini fridge with cold hand towels, a sign with all the different color options for the chromotherapy, and a small bench/basket for your belongings. As someone who does not regularly go to saunas, I had to take several breaks throughout the 45-minute session, but it definitely did its job and had me sweating! We enjoyed being able to adjust the colors for the chromotherapy as well. After our session, we were able to rinse off in the shower, and there is a sand room in the back where they set up some non-caffeinated tea for you to decompress. I enjoyed this part because the sand was so smooth and soft, and they do their best to create a calm ambience in the room even if you are just looking at a mural of the ocean. Some downsides for me personally: I felt the space was a bit small and cramped. Each sauna and other offered services are in small box-like rooms that aren't full rooms (the walls do not reach the ceiling). There was only one shower room, and the sand room was a bit tight (only 4 seats). I'd be curious to see if the other locations have a similar or different layout. Additionally, because the walls of the rooms do not reach the ceiling, nothing is soundproof. You can still hear some noise from other folks while in your sauna and are encouraged to keep noise to a minimum to maintain a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Lastly, I believe there is supposed to be a way to connect a bluetooth device in your sauna as advertised on the website, but we couldn't really figure out and weren't sure if it was a good idea to bring any devices in as it was super hot. That said, it wasn't something we absolutely needed so we just decided to hop in and enjoy the sweat. We enjoyed our infrared sauna and would recommend it if it is something you are looking to do regularly. It looked like they had several different membership options that give you access to different services each month.

This is located in the first floor of an apartment complex in Bellevue - the lobby is clean and the staff person I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable. Each float tank is in a clean, private, lockable room with a shower and towels and ear plugs - everything you need. The float tank experience itself is pretty cool - after showering you get in the tank, which is about ten inches of water with a whole bunch of epsom salt in it. The water and the air are the same temperature as the human body so it's a bit hard to distinguish between you and the environment after a bit. You can close the tank and turn off the light for a complete sensory deprivation experience, or try any combo to your comfort level. Being able to float provides great stretches and opportunities for meditation. I thought it would be hard to figure get through an hour of doing nothing - but it goes fast! The tank plays music to let you know the experience is over (for now). Afterwards I felt like I had a great massage. Go!

It was late and we were looking for a place that would be open late. My husband remembered that he tried a new place called My Spa and that it was a great massage. I walked in and noticed a clean well appointed space, not necessarily screaming luxury but very nice. I chose deep tissue and then my service began. Incredible is the only way to describe it. Deep tissue massages are not for the faint of heart . They are not for those looking to go to sleep during the massage. She was firm and targeted spending most time on the areas that needed it most. She started on my legs and feet and then worked her way up. I was most impressed with the owner's knowledge and experience. She is an expert in Chinese massage and understands and is trained on the benefits of Chinese medicine. As a result she understands the connection of massage and other areas of your body. This is different than other local massage places. This is a high quality massage that addresses your whole body. Suffice it to say, that I left feeling so much better than when I entered. I've already made an appointment to go back.

The reception team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the guided introduction at the beginning--it made it easy to understand all the different amenities and made us feel welcome. The salt room was incredibly relaxing, and the jacuzzi was the perfect place to unwind. I also have to mention the snowballs after the sauna--they were such a fun and refreshing touch! The complimentary tea, water, and other drinks were always available and added to the overall experience. Excellent customer service, beautiful facilities, and such a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to come back!

I'd come here roughly three times before deciding to host a Galentine's Day celebration, via private booking. The multiple spa spaces (steam room, clay sauna, Finnish sauna, and more) make it perfect for a large-ish gathering to have elbow room (we had 20 people) while the layout also makes it intimate enough that we felt connected. Nothing like all your friends cheering from the hot tub while you cold plunge! While the spa is always "social" so no need to whisper, I highly recommend the luxury and fun of a private booking. Aside from respectfully keeping our voices low in the locker room near treatment rooms being used by other guests, we were able to laugh and toast to our hearts' content. On that note, the staff was so accommodating with a table for the snacks we brought, a tub with ice for our drinks, and generally all the coordination that it took to pull this off. They made it as easy as possible. And on the day-of, Denise was a particularly gracious host -- welcoming us and even patiently/considerately snapping a group photo from multiple angles (at our request, to be clear - haha). I'll be back many more times -- whether solo or with friends. So grateful for this urban retreat in a very convenient location for Seattle-area city'zens.

I understand needing to enforce a strict cancelation policy in order to keep a business functional, but including reschedules in that policy is a little wild. Von Sauna has now taken $88 dollars out of our pockets in return for providing no service.

I recommend coming dressed with your swimsuit on underneath as there is a tiny locker space before you enter the sauna, but it is not private otherwise you can utilize the public restrooms nearby. Our host did a great job of explaining best practices for utilizing both the sauna and taking a cold plunge into Lake Washington. Water stations are available, but you should bring your own reusable water bottle. I noticed other groups had also brought some hydrating snacks that they were munching on in between the hot and the cold. The sauna and the lake were approximately 190°F and 45°F, respectively. We booked a social session so we were in a sauna room with a bunch of other people. When you enter the sauna, you need to bring your own towel to sit on. There are essential oils that you can use and water to create more steam on the rocks. Our host came in periodically to re-fuel the fire with fresh wood. In the sauna, there is a sand timer that lasts 15 minutes. Then you do the cold part and jump into Lake Washington. It's absolutely freezing cold! You can either go down the metal ladder to ease yourself in or jump off the dock. Most people immediately get back out, but you can stay in there for a couple of minutes. Because you have to utilize steps and a dock ladder (at least to climb back up and exit the water) I would say this experience requires an abled-body. We had an excellent time getting to know the other people in our session and bonded over the ridiculous temperature extremes. I would absolutely recommend this experience and would love to return again.

Unfortunately, the overall experience fails to live up to that first impression. Fyre leans so heavily into the social aspect of modern wellness that it undermines the atmosphere. The facility caters to its regulars, many of whom seem to run in the same fitness and social circles. While a community focus can be a positive, here it felt more like intruding on a private club. Too frequently, I overheard regulars and staff gossiping, making judgmental remarks, or outright complaining about other guests. Ultimately, the amenities cannot make up for the uncomfortable social situation. For me, saunas are for relaxation and recovery, and the cliquey environment at Fyre consistently ruined the experience. If you're looking to actually unwind, it is well worth paying a little more to visit one of the area's competitors.
