(in case his questions didn't encompass everything) several times, and then did an in-depth physical exam of reflexes, sensory, etc. He was really thorough and a STARK contrast to the neurologist I saw for the same issue a year and a half ago who spent 5min with me after waiting 4mo for the appointment. I was warned that Dr. Peress does not keep his appointments on time and may not have the best bedside manner, but that he is good at what he does, electrocardiology. My appointment was for 8:30 am and he took me on time. He walked in, introduced himself, looked me in the eye when he spoke with me and was very professional. I have nothing but the highest regard for him. He took a few minutes to review my EKG's, ask questions, and determine my diagnosis. I have been having tachycardia attacks for over 25 years and never has a cardiologist been so exact in his analysis. He knew what I had and why I experience my heart symptoms. He drew a picture and explained in detail how my heart was operating. We discussed my options. They ranged from ablation to beta blockers to nothing at all. We agreed on what was best for me in my situation. I now had the information I needed to make an informed decision which was to try a beta blocker when I have an episode. I know that if I choose in the future to have ablation, that I now have a cardiologist whom I trust to do the procedure and do it right! When you go to a specialist, you should not choose the person by his office staff, or how friendly he or she is, or whether they see you on time. You should select the most knowledgeable, most proficient, the one you are confident knows what he is doing and can perform the procedure correctly. If you choose Dr. Peress, you will be in the hands of someone you can trust.

When Dr S called to go over the results... they charged me $89 and told me at the end of the visit that the company that provided the test gives a free 30 min consultation to discuss the results... Another completely unnecessary charge! To top it all off, they gave me a list of questions to ask my insurance carrier to ensure the food allergy test was covered, it appeared to be but somehow I wound up paying $280 for that as well.. This was a really expensive way to confirm I was allergic to milk!! I love the naturpathic approach but this place seems unethical!!

He is big on testing, particularly food and it can be expensive, however after getting tested and staying away from the many, many foods I have intolerances to, I am feeling so much better. I feel like I'm gaining control over my health again. Dr Sadilek is not just holistic, but also uses traditional means as well, so I feel like I'm getting a well rounded view of my health. They went out of their way to help her maintain her dignity, and never once dismissed what she had to say, even when she was a little whack-a-doodle. They adjusted to whatever was best for her! The team at TMC Rincon are to be commended for doing their jobs with heart! Oh and this is a brand new facility. The ER was timely and thorough; the place is beautiful; and the room had a couch that converts into an actual BED for me to stay with her! And they have done away with the big beeping monitor system that always drives both patients and families crazy. She had a mini monitor "pack" that sends the feed to a central monitoring location which alerts the staff in the actual hospital if there an issue. This frees the nurses to do real patient care, instead of constantly responding to unimportant beeps and buzzes. I think they have really managed to create a different hospital experience for patients and families alike. I am very pleased, impressed and grateful.

Where it once asked for the extension it seems to do that intermittently. Also they expect you to re-enter your information each time you come in. If you don't they hand you a tablet to do so. Most of the clientele is old so have trouble. I can't believe they you can't call or even get in the door without a huge hassle. Note that most places will ask you if anything changed, not make you go thru a re-enter info process. This makes the visit seem unprofessional and slow.

The office manager, the nurse I dealt with and the person that orders the scans were not accommodating at all. While I was standing in the reading room, asking for the procedure and what was going on rather than address me, she only would talk to her subordinates. I found it extremely rude and degrading!
