Even after I returned home they were helpful in getting me my meds and dressings sorted out. I would point out that, as I write this, all of the low ratings are NOT about the facility or care, but about problems with insurance coverage. I saw an ad on Facebook for Metro Vein Center and called to get pricing and make an appointment. I got in right away. The doctor met with me and I made two appointments for the following week. Dr. Abdulla Alabagi was terrific!! He was very informative and answered all my questions. He was gentle, kind, and thorough. He did one leg one day and the another at the next appointment. The solution they use is not near as painful as what I experienced in the past. And just 7 days of support hose which were included in the price. He told me they would look worse before they got better, and in 1-3 months I should see a 50-75% improvement. I'm hoping by summer they look much better!! The staff was also very nice. We chose to stay on the line (because how do you schedule an appointment in an email), and after one full hour, we still hadn't moved up in the queue. Scheduling a simple vaccine shouldn't be this difficult. It's disappointing that accessing basic healthcare services requires this much time and effort. This experience has left me questioning the level of customer service and health care TMC provides.

My experience at this facility has been very pleasant overall. I recently brought a loved one in,…read moreand she was seen by Dr. Herbert, who was wonderful. She was professional, caring, and provided great service. The only issue I have is with the lady at the front desk, whose name I believe is Lorena. She came across as very rude, although that may simply be her personality. Unfortunately, I had two separate interactions with her within the past week, and both left me with the same impression. On another occasion, I brought my son in after he was hit in the face with a basketball and busted his lip. I called ahead to ask about the wait time and explained the situation. Lorena told me that if he needed to be seen, I would need to come in and wait. I understand that wait times can change, but I simply asked whether there were a lot of people waiting at that time so I could make an informed decision about whether to come in immediately or consider my options. She told me that she would not provide that information and repeated that I would need to come in and wait if he needed to be seen. I want to emphasize that the medical care and service I received were great. My concern is specifically with the customer service and friendliness at the front desk. A little more patience, kindness, and willingness to communicate would make a big difference. I will absolutely return if I need to, because I was pleased with the care provided. However, first impressions matter, and for some people, that first interaction can be the lasting impression of a facility. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve the overall patient experience.
