BEST doctor's experience I've had in Tucson!…read more Here's why: -Booking the appointment was fast, easy and I could be seen same day! -NO long wait times. Shown to my room quickly and Dr. Gallo came in soon after that. (It is an absolute pet peeve of mine when I schedule an appt but I'm not seen until much later!) -Dr. Gallo was professional but extremely personable. Friendly, good sense of humor--NONE of the arrogance, uncaring attitude or rushing out the door I've experienced in the past. -My procedure (removal of stitches) could be done in the office by Dr. Gallo's staff (who were also very nice and funny) Will DEFINITELY be back and highly recommend Dr. Gallo if you are looking for a great doctor!

Rude staff. Rude doctor. LISTEN TO THE REST THE REVIEWS - find a different doctor…read more I constantly had issues with, Laura (the manager) and I should have just found another PC - but I just thought "yeah they're rude, but I can deal with that because I can make appointments relatively fast". A mistake that's now cost me health, money and a lot of time. They didn't submit the proper documentation to my insurance on time - even though I called and asked multiple times - each time I was met with a rude tone, as if "we're not stupid - don't ask us again". Well, my insurance confirmed that the office ignored multiple phone calls and faxes trying to get it covered. They lied and wouldn't even try to help resolve the issue - then calling the company that she works for - they couldn't care less. They "looked into" my issues and found no problems. They wouldn't talk to my insurance or care to look at the evidence - they said "we talked with Dr Gallo's staff and everything was done properly". No, it wasn't and that's why I'm not liable for THEIR referrals - because they wouldn't submit it within the timeframe needed and lied about it. We choose professionals to do things like that because it's a complex deal understanding the processes and policies involved. They don't act professional and it's as if they enjoyed my issues - both Dr Gallo and Laura. I'm going to sue them because it's cost me months of treatment, a financial loss and countless hours of my life - not to mention the stress it's put on me. Run away - don't walk - this office is only interested in your money.

Sht Britt said he would provide referrals. After a month with no referrals I took off 3 hours from work and went to the Knight office. I was provided with referrals to providers out of my insurance network. I called back & complained. One of the illiterate minions called back an hour later telling me I was on my own to find providers. Left me with no assistance. The next day I received a call from Britt's Biotch who admitted she had mixed up paperwork from my file with another client. I am not a patient, I am a paying customer & Sht Britt is nothing more than a Service Provider who is incompetent. I told the stupid girl that I'd had enough and questioned if she was trying to push me over the edge when I was already struggling with my mental health. He could have stepped in and prescribed medications but directed the Biotch to call the Sherrifs Department on a wellness check. If Sht Britt cared, he would have called personally to check on how he could help. Sht Britt didn't care about me, just locking me up on a 72 hour psych hold. What a piece of Trash ! The police called me at work at 4:55 pm and I had it out with them and demanded the name & phone number of the Biotch that called to police. We have the police report. We are moving forward legally against Sht Britt and TMC one. He offered no medical care and harmed me emotionally and psychologically. May he & the Ho who called the police rot in Hades.

And two days ago I stopped by after I have been refused a visit at a specialist referred by my PCP at CareMore. How this matter was handled is indicative of the care I have received at CareMore. My medicare insurance is provided by Alignment. This is their first year in Arizona. Consequently, they are not known by name to many of the providers that I encounter. I was referred to an ophthalmologist and when I got there I was told that my insurance was not accepted by them. CareMore was on my way home so I stopped in to find out more. Needless to say, I was not happy. I was riding a bicycle and it was nearly 100 degrees. The office manager sat with me and worked for me for a total of about 40 minutes trying to get to the bottom of the problem. First, she called the ophthalmologist and discovered that indeed my insurance is honored at their office. Next, she discovered that the ophthalmologist had set up the wrong kind of visit for me. That required another phone call. And finally, she called back and made an appointment for me. All of this in the kindest and most considerate way. I have had the same kind of caring experience from my PCP and from the NP who did my induction work. From everything I can see, CareMore is a first-rate office staffed by excellent people who are kind, caring, and motivated.

I left after he brushed me off with my chest pain "anxiety" and after my decreasing my dose of medications like he asked, he then flat out refused to fill because "it's been too long since you filled it" (I decreased based on HIS request). Then he tells our daughter about a medication I'm taking. (Isn't this a HIPPA violation?) I changed after I had a cardiac arrest. My husband has an appointment with a new PCP but not until the end of July. He needs a pre op visit prior to that. I just had a huge argument with Sheri at the front office. She initially did not want to make the appointment "He is changing doctors". Well, until he does they are still responsible for his care! I told her that if she refused to make the appointment my next call would be to our attorney for abandonment of patient care. She made the appointment. What a way to solidify that we need a new doctor/office. Would not recommend this doctor or this office.

This is long, but if you're shopping for a doctor, please read the whole thing…read more It's so hard to move to a new place and try to find a doctor without a trusted referral. I'll spare you the sob story, but when my husband developed Pain (which turned out to be multiple kidney stones) last spring, we happened upon a good review of Dr. Eric Sonderer online. After letting my husband suffer through multiple visits, he finally did refer him to a urologist who "blasted" some of the larger stones (of the 13)! It was a horrible 4 months for my husband. If you've had kidney stones, you know. My husband liked the doc's laidback style, so I went to him with a sinus infection in the fall. During that visit, he took it upon himself to diagnose a skin "condition" and prescribe a topical medication. (I found him a bit arrogant, but tolerable.) The medication didn't do a thing for my skin. A dermatologist told me he made the wrong call. And I ended up visiting a sinus specialist for the same sinus infection that took months to clear. Shortly after my visit, I saw a suspicious mole pop up on my ear, I called for a referral. He did give me a good REFERRAL, I'll give him that. This spring, his office started calling, hounding both of us to schedule physicals. My husband needed blood work and, by the way, where was my blood work?? I have mine done through my Gyn. They argued a bit. Cajoled me to send the results over. Shortly after the calls, my husband had some recurring abdominal discomfort. I scheduled an appointment with Sonderer. For the second time (he did this with the kidney stones, too), Sonderer send him home recommending he take a laxative!!! (Did I mention he "prescribed" 2 beers a day as a "preventive" treatment for kidney stones? "One beer for each kidney.") Bottom line: NO blood tests ordered. My husband is 59 years old and they had already been badgering us about blood tests! So... I call for an appointment today. They can get him in in 4 weeks. If he has the blood work done early (we're talking cholesterol screen, etc.) it would not "be any good" for the physical. (Wah??) Because? "That is a new Medicare law." I said "We don't have Medicare." Last time I checked you have to be 65. "Well, it's a new law," she says. We pay DEARLY for our medical insurance out of our own pocket. And despite the ineptitude of the health care system, I'm holding Dr. Sonderer responsible for his part. We're finding someone with enough ethics to authorize basic, yearly blood tests for God's sake.
