The doctor was great really liked him. But communication with office is awful. You can not get a person in the office on the phone. Have left numerous messages and sent emails trying to fix problem but no one has gotten back to me. Have spoken to scheduling dept cause that's the only people you can get ahold of. And they have told me they are sending note to a person in the office 4 times and still nothing. Terrible messaging system with staff. read more

The worst office, I waited an 11/2 hours because they forgot about me and I went to a dark locked location and could not find the sleep clinic, no directions no lights. The staff is a hot mess. Why the doctor allows a practice to be run so poorly is bewildering. Notice the 5 star reviews mixed in with a boat load of 1 star reviews? Little doubt that a least several of the 5 star review are placed for damage control. This place seems to be a CPAP / BIPAP mill. Kindly ask your PCP for a referral elsewhere. VERY DISAPPOINTING !! I just moved to Tucson and had to find a new Pulmonary doc to replace the one I had used for over 10 years. After several attempts to call I got an appointment. I met wit Puri and I liked him BUT his office staff is awful. After getting several tests he ordered I called to make a follow up. After FIVE "no answer, leave a message" calls I left a message. No one returned my call. The next day I called FOUR times and go no answer. I left a message that I would no longer be a patient due to the lack of correspondence. The next day I got a call to schedule a follow up. It was not Puri's office but a remote service that called. I asked," didn't you get my message?" No was the answer. I said if you had gotten my message you would know I am no longer interested in being a patient of a doctor who does not answer his phone and does not return phone calls to a patient who has a CHRONIC LUNG CONDITION. The service caller did not seem to care and said okay goodbye. I would not advice anyone use this doctor. read more

They never call you back, they cancel appointments on the last minute, when you do schedule an appointment you have to make it for months out, their computers don't properly talk to the insurance company computers so they lose your authorizations, and when they make a mistake that causes you to lose your appointment you made months in advance they act like they are the victim and don't do anything to remedy the situation read more

I went to do the sleep study, it was in Green Valley. Ladies bring your husband, it is in a very dark area, business park had low low lighting. I left at 5:30am, still very dark. I came from Benson and had no idea where i was, let alone i was unfamiliar with the area. Door was unlocked to the building all night. I was very nervous (had this procedure done twice before, so I new what to expect.) And lets not even talk about the hospital bed and pillows, OMG, no wonder i didn't sleep. read more

Being relatively new to the area, I was in need of a doctor to renew my prescription for a CPAP. My PCP referred me to Dr. Peri. I was contacted by the office staff who told.me to bring.my records to the appointment. Everything was done to expedite my appointment before my arrival, which was great. As in other reviews, yes, the receptionist is very short and almost rude, but this was my first time at the office. Who knows, maybe she was having a bad day. Dr Peri was great. He was actually a cool dude to talk to and very knowledgeable on the equipment I was going to get. I got my equipment orders and everything has been excellent. Like I said, this was my first time in the office. After reading some reviews, and reading about the problems other people have had, my experience was pleasant. I had this appointment scheduled with Pima for about a week. They called me a few days before their appointment to gather some information took us about 45 minutes to get all the information down. They did ask about my old sleep study which I told them that I'll be looking for. I did not have the information right now at no time was I told I was supposed to bring in my CPAP machine when we got to my appointment the doctor came into the room it says good morning. Look at me. Where is CPAP machine with a sort of grin on his face? I looked at him confused and I said nobody told me to bring in my seat Machine at this point, he turned around and said why are you being so hostile so I'm not being hostile. I'm telling you no one told me to bring in my CPAP machine. My question to him was why didn't they tell me when they called me for the appointment to bring in my CPAP machine, he looked at me and said who is there I said the people that called or who was that person someone from your office he said no no one from my office calls to make appointment is an Service that he has. He then looked at me goes. I don't know who they are. Then he started telling me that if I didn't wanna have my services done there, I could always go somewhere else. My son was with me the whole time that this happened then he left with my older sleep study to enter into the system. He kept saying that we were being hostile and all we were doing is asking questions on why we weren't told to bring certain things. I was told to bring any sleep studies that I can find but never did they tell me to bring my CPAP machine he was very arrogant. I later spoke to one of the office personnel to file a complaint. I was told that his daughter files all emails and and tosses all complaints. I was also told that we're not the first ones he treats this way if you look at his rating it's out of 1.7. I should've looked at it before just to see what I was getting myself into. I normally do go and look up the companies, but this was referral from another company that was in good standings with me. I did talk to the office that referred them. And I explained everything on what happened. I will try to be getting my testing done at other location. I do not recommend this place. I'm sure that there's some good people in there, but as far as this owner/operator doctor I will never ever refer him know when I ever go back to him. read more

Terrible quality of care and poor communication with patients. Pima Lung and Sleep has blacklisted me and I have no idea why. I have been trying to follow up with them for over 5 years and my calls go unreturned. From our first meeting with Dr. Peri at Pima Lung, we were happy to get in when my wife's asthma was very bad. That was the last good thing! At our preliminary meeting, he changed her meds to a new prescription with 13 uses and said he would send the renewal prescription to our pharmacy. That apparently never happened. Further, the pharmacy and my wife called for the prescription numerous times. My wife called six days straight to the prescription renewal line and the scheduling desk and left messages to call us or the pharmacy. No return phone calls! When she went in to hear her test results today, he actually became abusive in his clinic's phone policies. We are in there for a long term asthma problem so the doctor suggested she needed a CPap machine for her sleep. She can't even wear one with her asthma so bad. He then became dismissive. If you get this referral, consider asking for another doctor or clinic! This was the same advice he gave a friend with lung cancer. They have never called back! I have called 8 times and only once did I reach a person. I've left 7 voicemails none of which were returned. They left a voicemail asking that we call and confirm that we'll appear for our sleep study. We returned that call within 90 minutes, (voicemail, surprise!). When we showed up, on a Sunday night at 8PM, we weren't scheduled because, 'you did not confirm' I recommend finding a doctor who will help you get better, not add stress to your life. The RT who performed our PFT was a superstar, working great with our autistic child. The Nurse who met us for the sleep study was professional and courteous in an uncomfortable situation. read more

So far so good, checked in for sleep lab appointment to be tested for sleep apnea. Room is "ok" but definitely not geared for "sleep"! More like wired for sound. Cameras overhead watching you, hope I don't do anything crazy in my sleep! No chair or recliner, bed is definitely uncomfortable and there is no TV! Staff have been friendly so far, let's see how much I like them by morning! 5 am, yikes! Woke, sleep test is done. Slept well considering the environment, the staff was fantastic! For 3 working days days called to get info on my CpaP cord left at the office. 5 days with out CPAP or return Call. Resorted to my insurance advocate to contact them. Advocate had No luck.. Finally drove down there, 1 hr trip, Receptionist knew nothing, called for office manager. A Patient next to me said, "good luck, manager is horribe". Well she wasnt horrible but not helpful. I had to talk over her to get my request understood. She just kept saying, we will call you if we find it. How about calling to say that it isnt there and we'll order you another one or you can order it yourself. No return calls for 5 days. But what was horrible, was Dr Puri came out and basically, directed me to stop talking loud, don't wave my hands, and quit accusing them of steeling. And do not make disparaging remarks about his company. True. Cant believe a So Called Dr behaved that way. Office manager then said she can order another one, but by then I tolld Dr Puri Im not ever coming back here, so he told manager to cancel the order as I am no longer a patient, quit disrupting his office and leave. I Did. And reported it all to United Health Care. Terrible. A Dr acting that way with a patient that that has an inoperable breathing machine. read more

Dr. Perry is the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. I have been calling for 4 months trying to follow-up on an issue involving my insurance. Each time I talk to someone at the office, I'm told they will ask the doctor and call me back. I have never been called. Today I was told that I have to make an in-person appointment to ask the doctor to follow-up with the insurance company. What?!! So, unprofessional and ridiculous. 9 months total trying to get a CPAP with Dr. Perry. I prefer to drive to Phoenix to get REAL medical attention instead of this quack. When explaining treatment options to me he kept saying "because you are so big". It wasn't just once. I let the first one slide. The problem is he said it would be month to receive it. In the mean time I am just supposed to suffer. I really wish I had an option to go somewhere else. The most disorganized company I've probably ever dealt with. Nobody answers the phones. They clearly don't listen to emails. They will tell you availability for one time and schedule you for another. Then you finally get to your appt, wait in the lobby for one hour, only for the doctor to say "your lung scan looked good." I was called back and the dr came in after waiting 6 months for an appointment and only be seen by the dr for 2 minutes is not acceptable. This is the worst place ever they quadruple book patients, which means you're in the waiting room for 1hr to 1hr 45min. I actually waited almost 2.30hrs once. I waited another 45 minutes in the room to be told because your fat you have sleep apnea, so we need to test you. Ok, I got tested. It's the worst thing that was ever invented; it was made even worse due to the fact that I have anxiety and all those wires and stuff in my hair were driving me nuts. If I slept, it must have for only about an hour or so, but when I went back, they were like o yeah you have sleep apnea." I explained to the dr. Very mismanaged office. I was scheduled for an appointment for Thursday night they called the day of and canceled. They scheduled me for Monday night and she promised me they would not cancel me again. Showed up half an hour early was admitted into the building. Waited another 45 minutes only to be told I was not on the schedule. They sent me home. Don't understand why it took 45 minutes to see I was not on the schedule. Arrived for an appointment the expected 10 minutes early and sat with no explanation or apology from the staff for an hour before being seen. We were not told to bring the CPAP then eye-rolled for not having it. Asked to bring it the next day, and when I arrived (from our home, 45min from the clinic) I was told I could leave it and come back or they would have someone adjust it electronically because they didn't have time to see me then. I am a critical care nurse and understand the nuances of managing patient care. I also value time management, customer service, empathy and establishing clear expectations. My primary doctor referred me to this clinic. Although the doctor was very nice and had good bedside manner the staff on the other hand did not. My first encounter here I waited hour and 25min as a new patient with 20min on top of that because they wanted me to be 15 to 20 min early. Unfortunately as I was about to reschedule they were about to call me back and I rescheduled anyway due to conflicting other doctor appointments. I waited patiently while the check in /rescheduled employee was huffing and puffing upset that I asked to be reschedule. mind you I too work in the medical field so I get it. But seriously the 2nd time was I was given the wrong date and time for a breathing test. When I asked about it the front desk person snatched my paperwork and said I was given the wrong paper. So that had to be reschedule. Now tonight! Tonight I was scheduled a sleep study and then was told front desk scheduled person called me multiple time's Ya no! 3rd time I have been lied to and missed treated here by staff. And always my miscommunication with front staff. If you do not like what you do and just there for a check please don't take out your frustration on people. I will not be returning here sadly. Had appt for next Monday & call from staff saying my online form hadn't been received. This was Thursday. AJ said that I hadn't saved it. I had saved it, because I was able to do it over 2 days, so able to retrieve it so it had to have been saved. She said I would need to redo it. This had been an horrible website to work, so I asked that it be mailed. AJ said it was needed to be in their office the day before, eg Friday. I irritably said it couldn't happen as I was literally going out the door to pick up friends & leaving town for the weekend, & that this was their problem & they needed to fix it. I re-arranged my life for a sleep study...changed both work and vacation schedules. I had a sleep study appointment for over a month. I drove an hour and a half...90 miles each way from my home to the center. I got there at 8pm for my 8:30 appointment. I was then told everyone had already checked in and there were no beds available...sorry, have a good night! I called the admin office the next morning and was told they don't know how 1) they overbooked the beds, and 2) why I was the one to get sent away. My pulmonary function test appointment was similarly screwed, but at least they rescheduled that before I made the 180-mile round trip. The office staff is great at making appointments, but they apparently have no clue what it takes to follow-through and follow-up. The Doctor may be good, but the staff and services are not. I would not recommend any new patient to go there, and would tell the insurance companies to stop recommending them. read more

I have been here several times and the wait time to be called out of the reception room has exceeded reasonable limits. I had to leave my last scheduled appt without being called or seeing the doctor even though I waited over 1 hour. This visit I just waited 45 minutes before being called up to the desk to show my ID and insurance card. The patients waiting across from me have been waiting 1 1/2 hours without being called to the back office and they are here for a 5 minute ekg test which does not even require seeing the doctor directly. The office management is so poor it is beyond belief and extremely disrespectful of your clients and their time. We as patients show our respect by being on time for our appointments and would appreciate the same consideration. read more

Completely incompetent staff. Scheduled a sleep study two months out because that's all that was available. Then THEY have to reschedule that appointment and I have to wait another month. I call the day before to confirm and find out I'm not even on the books. I'm extremely frustrated because I've rearranged vacations, etc, to accommodate this appointment. The scheduler attempts a half hearted lie by saying, "we tried calling." I point out that my phone shows every missed call and/or voicemail and I ask, "when did you try?" and she has no answer. The staff did not know I was coming in for a sleep study because the scheduler did not do things right. The techs did a sleep study for me and were great. I was told that the Dr would be getting back with me but I never heard back. My PCP tried several times to get my results and after the third or forth attempt finally got my test results. I will never again go to this place to have a study done. read more

If i could post zero stars i would! The Doctor is a jerk to his patients.. There was a miscomunication about bringing my father's Cpap into the appointment. Other appointments he brings it in for nothing, then this one time he does not bring it the doctor decided to replemend my father (who only speaks spanish) about how could he not bring it in because that makes his office look bad. I tried to explain to Dr.Puri the reasoning he interrupted me and continued to bash us on about the damn machine. Throughtout the appointment he did not even know what machine HE gave my father apparently does not do the appropiate dictation to his charts. THE WORST EXPERIENCE!! read more
