Clearly they are able to make exceptions for people that look a certain way, and not for others. We had a party of 15 inside; they charged them 10 for water without mentioning to them that there is a cost. Overall, while I understand that rules are rules. It is clear that the security and management only make these rules for certain people.

The Cleanliness: The physical state of the dining area needs immediate attention. Both our dining table and the sake carafe itself were noticeably sticky to the touch. It was telling that on a night when next door restaurants were packed, Umaya was almost entirely empty. The Silver Lining: The one bright spot of the evening was the waitstaff. The servers were actually very good, attentive, and polite. It was the waitstaff that have me upgrading from 1 stars to 2 stars. I hope management takes a hard look at these menu changes and cleanliness standards. Until they fix the food quality and bring back what made this place great, I won't be returning.

I used to go here many years ago. When it was nice. I went to the Ive loung this Sat night with a few friends. I can honestly say. I did not like it. First of all im not one to complain. However I just had to. We did not like it. First It smells like throw up by the bar. Then I saw bottle caps all over the floor inside the bar. Not clean at all. Then we ordered drinks the Chinese female bartender was very rude. Drink are to pricey 10 a shot & 7 for beer WTF.. Then I went to use the restroom and it was filthy bathrooms doors hanging on messed up hinges, its smelled like urine. Then they had no soap to wash my hands and no paper towels or toilet paper. Come on guys. You wanta run a night club. Clean your shit up. And make it comfortable for us consumers. I personally I will not be going back. Music was good. But the bartender was lousy and not nice.. My advice!! Clean up, Treat people nice, more bartenders and please clean & stock the restrooms at all times.. read more
