I made reservations at the IV Lounge to celebrate my Wife's 50th Birthday with family and friends. I talked to Christine to make my reservations for a party of 20 people. Christine was very helpful in making them and even accommodate us with an extra table because we had over 20 family members and friends that showed up. We had an awesome time. I give it a 3 rating for one reason and one reason only. The music (live band and DJ) is so loud, you cant even hear yourself think. The bartenders can barely hear what you are telling, when you try to order drinks. If there was an emergency, the security would NEVER hear you. The staff was very attentive And cleaned up tables as soon as parties left. Place is super clean and allows outside food. Which is really nice. For safety reasons alone, the music needs to be turned down a hair. For communication reasons, like ordering drinks, trying to talk to your party, it would immensely help, if the music was turned down a tiny bit. Owner of the club, I suggest you sit in the lounge and try having a conversation with the person next to you. Try ordering a drink... I'm dying to know what you truly think. read more

I've only been to the IV Lounge on three separate occassions....and that is to support Balance of Azuza. The venue is nicer than some other night spots (definately better than ORIGINAL MIKE'S which is now a dump). The biggest problem with this venue is the AIR CONDITIONING! There is ZERO circulation in this venue! More workers are also needed to support the volume of people who are entertained there. One Hispanic lady bussed the tables and maintained the ladies' bathroom! read more

So this was a special occasion for me and two of my close friends. After searching and searching we finally found a venue that we were happy about and now it was the least of our worries. The decor was nice and the set up was perfect. Now here comes the Un-professionalism .... ( nothing is never good to be true).. We met with the coordinator Christine for final payment and she was cool, until that next time we needed to meet up with her for a final walk through, she did a 360 on us. She made it hard for us to try to set up a time that will work for everyone. She was not flexible at all. I had to rush from all the way across town to get to Norwalk, ( that's two freeways and traffic).. To make an appointment at 5, when originally we wanted 6:00 or 6:30p which would have given everyone enough time to make it to Norwalk. See it's a total difference now that you got your final payment. Also, There was issue between our coordinator and Christine, which I felt that she wasn't even trying to be helpful in. Don't say one thing and do another and when we call you on it, you have an attitude... And the security guard was terrible and had issues. I had a gift that someone needed to drop off and it was bottle of champagne in a gift bag. He gave my guest a hard time bringing the gift into the party. I guess he felt like he was going to open the bottle and drink it, but a professional security guard would have seen that it was a gift and would have maybe mentioned that we don't allow bottles in the club , but because it's a gift it will be okay, just make sure it's put on the gift table. It was also mentioned that he wasn't pleasant when checking female purses and communicating well with our guest Lastly do not stay in that hotel. It's like a truckstop and tourist hotel. Mattress is hard as a rock. Good luck calling the front desk or housekeeping at 9:30am to get towels because your call will go right to voicemail. Just make sure if this is something that you want to look into for any of your special occasions, understand that personalities will change after that final payment has been collected. If you're looking for a place to hangout on the weekend this is a good place to be. There is always a DJ & LIVE music. Christine rocks, she's the bar manager & her staff is very accommodating. The drinks are great and at a reasonable price. Be ready to pay a cover charge which isn't much. It Rangers from $5-$15. Make sure to visit their website as there is also big name bands who also play at this venue/bar. read more

Talked to a girl named Christine about having an event at her venue. From the minute she picked up the phone she did not even seem interested in talking to me about having an event at the venue. She immediately said my date was not available. It also took me 6x to reach her as the phone listed on the business did not take any voicemails and each time I called it would go straight to vm. read more

This place is really cool no attitudes like when it was Sash new managemet is really cool,and they speak english no offense but spanglish is not to cool. The bands are really great Cold duck,Ace,Tease,and DW3. And also free Wings and Munchies. Less Thug clientele that the Sash Club brought. Way to go Iv Lounge will be back! read more

To reserve a table is almost impossible. You have to hunt down the owner Christine. Pay $5 a person for the number of persons you are reserving. IN ADVANCE! Only to find out it doesn't guarantee you your table!! If when u arrive and she has sold your reservation she pulls from her cash drawer and refunds you. Christine thinks this should pacify the customers! NOT!! The least she could do is offer the first round of drinks on the house to these customers?! Right?!! I honestly think its a way to lure guest in. We found last night as well, different prices on drinks. Christine sells her drinks at highest price! Doubt I'll be going back. read more

Went to The GuestHouse Club IV last night to listen to a band (Satisfaction the Band) I have been following for years. Have not been here in years, but I am glad I came to night. The club has been redone and looks great. Place was clean, lots of parking, freeway close, clean bathrooms, drinks a little pricey, but all in all a nice place. Thank You (Satisfaction Band) for coming back to Norwalk and on a Saturday night too. Always a great time, enjoyed every minute of the show. read more

today my husband was asked to cover a shift here at IV along with one of his coworkers. He has only worked here one other time. As soon as they walked up , they were disrespected by a rude Asian lady who I think is a manger or owner. She had asked the main guard if he was staying there because she didn't like them (my boyfriend &his coworker) and they didn't do anything except walk up and immediately were discriminated and treated rudely for no reason, they didn't even get a chance to introduce themselves to her. She's lucky my husband has enough respect to not disrespect her the way she deserves to be. Today is his day off and he's doing her the favor of coming to help her rude ass out. My husband decided to leave because he's not going to be treated like an idiot. Hopefully she puts herself in check because next time she might talk down to the wrong person read more

I hosted a private event here with two of my friends. Inside the building the decor is nice. Our experience started off very pleasant. After the manager Christine receive the entire fee her attitude changed. Her availability was limited to show the venue to our vendors. One of our vendors had to cut her lunch short at her job to meet Christine for a walk through because Christine was unwilling to be flexible. This was the first straw. The night of our event things began to go down hill. First my vendors arrive to get started as planned. Christine only allowed the vendors in two hours before the event even though the venue was empty and not being used. Our party coordinator went in only to find the layout was not functional. As the coordinator started working he was met with opposition from Christine and her rude security. There was white linen in places where there should've been black linen. Christine told our coordinator that she ran out of linen. Totally unprofessional. Black linen was already decided and previously discussed. As time progressed she continued to be combative with our coordinator. Our coordinator and family had to move tables and organize the venue to become cohesive environment. The security guard went as far as to stand inside the venue and watch the coordinator and helpers as they worked diligently to make our night a success. This action was so demeaning and uncomfortable. In addition, the one security guard was very aggressive and disrespectful to our female mature guests. The ladies were asked rudely to open their purse. He used no tact or courtesy when speaking to women. The security guard told my dessert vendor that he would have to taste her dessert to verify that what she was bringing in was dessert, So unprofessional and distasteful. These are just a few of the things that occurred during my experience with the IV Private Party Lounge. My advice is to beware!!!! read more
