We chose to go with AJT over the other 2 quotes we recieved because Mike was the only one who actually went on our roof to evaluate which I felt was important. No hidden surprises that may have come from the other quotes. Roof was done in 1 day and gutters the day after. Both crews left our property spotless of any debris or nails. Moose and Taner were also a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend AJT for roof and gutters.

Your quote was $10,000 over my next highest quote, and I got four quotes. I've done four bathrooms and know the process. With materials, your total would have been over $32,000. Again, for a 5x8 basic bathroom, keeping the fixtures in the same place, the cost was exorbitant.

They're door to door scam artists. They knock on doors offering simple things, like cleaning…read moregutters, or fixing concrete. They ask to look at something, and find other problems that cost you a lot more down the road. Don't let their photos deceive you. And never hire a contractor walking your neighborhood knocking on doors. For $25K you can get a new roof. You can get two. They can post photos of them working until the end of time. Doesn't mean their work is good, doesn't mean they're honest businessmen, or good, reputable contractors. They prey on women assuming that they're not knowledgeable- they talk you into thinking a situation is worse than it really is. Always interview more than one contractor when you need work done. Get multiple estimates after letting licensed and insured assess the jobs. And make sure you see their license and insurance. A good contractor offers those things up front. Edited to add: I don't honestly believe that their website is even their website. Judging by many of the photos and the verbiage, I think they took another company's photos and website, and copied and pasted it. All these different faces doing work, but this is literally two guys- father and son, I believe, and they don't even have a truck/van with company logos. And as someone else mentioned- 20 years in business, NO Google reviews. The roof photos on this page- that's my roof. My wife is their so-called "satisfying customer." Their work put holes in my bathroom ceiling, which they denied. They fixed it, but didn't buy the right paint color, so my ceiling is two different shades of white. They also cracked the grout on my shower wall. As another reviewer said- they start with one quote, find more supposed issues, and "can't do the job at that price," or "if you don't let me do more, I can't guarantee my work." They're liars, they're frauds. And how I mentioned they prey on women- on the last day they worked on my house, I was home. They saw me, put their heads down, and wouldn't even address me. Again- no licenses, assuming no insurance, no Google reviews, and no sense of decency. I have a hard time believing the positive reviews here.

As a security company, we work with many contractors and job sites, and it's immediately noticeable when a company operates at a higher level -- Innovation definitely does. Their team was professional, organized, and respectful throughout the entire project. We were responsible for protecting a multi-million dollar property, expensive construction equipment, and ensuring the site remained secure overnight. Thanks to the way Innovation runs their projects, our personnel had zero issues conducting patrols and maintaining site security. One thing that really stood out was the housekeeping and overall site organization. The job site was kept extremely neat, which made patrol operations smooth and safe for our guards. Their workers were also highly professional, clearly experienced, and appeared to follow proper safety practices at all times. It's refreshing to work alongside a contractor that takes pride in both their workmanship and how they manage their sites. We look forward to working with Innovation Construction NYC again in the future. -- Aspire Security Protection LLC

And that was exactly the same experience for us working with John and his team to redo our driveway and part of our sidewalk. John was extremely responsive, got the necessary permits from our town, and made the experience super easy for us. It felt like they were in and out; it was probably the smoothest experience we've had when dealing with home repairs/work. He stayed in touch and checked in with us before, during, and after the job -- which to be honest, consistent communication is sometimes half the battle, but not with Cannizzo. I would absolutely recommend their work and appreciated how easy the entire experience was for us!

I would like to share an update about this company I unfortunately contracted to fix my chimney…read more After I left my review, surprise surprise, I was contacted by Steve Lapin a partner in the company and the main person I dealt with the entire job... well, not exactly... Instead of calling me and saying 'sorry man, we've been super busy and I know we promised to come and finish last week, I will make time this weekend and finish up' which I would've completely accepted and agreed to. Instead, Steve called MY WIFE and went on some unhinged tirade about being scared for the safety of his guys because I was racist and unstable because I use drugs! This actually happened! He got that stuff from us talking about going down the shore 20 years ago and 'partying' with friends and how it was so fun. And I told them their Spanish guys wrecked my lawns and destroyed a bunch of stuff! That makes me a racist druggie I guess. So this guy, Steve Lapin tried to screw up my marriage and mess with my family!!! Because he didn't have an excuse for not returning my calls and figured he would do that to wiggle out of it, I guess? After I finally spoke with him and yelled at him what in the world he was doing, he tried black mailing me saying he recored our conversations and all kinds of crazy stuff. He continued trying to harass my wife and me, trying to get me to take down the review. His partner John seemed appalled after I told him what happened and assured me he would take care of everything. That was the last I heard from him as well and no phone calls or messages have been returned. Meanwhile the huge leak THEY CREATED that goes into my basement, has not been fixed. I will be filing a lawsuit shortly. I would still be willing to work things out with John, but he doesn't seem interested either. They took my money and ran away! That's what you will get if you hire these guys! DONT DO IT...
