As we have been here for over 15 years, your pizza was always hands down the best tasting, best crust, best fresh ingredients, the largest pies anywhere, and was always fast... You still have the speed, largest pies, but the crust isn't the same and the ingredients have gotten lessened... We have been getting your pizza since 2011 and have never had a bad one till last night. We are both handicap Seniors and can't walk far so they had to bring the pizza to our car. We called and ordered a 15" Supreme, we added Extra Cheese. We didn't check the pizza as we have always gotten very good ones. When we got home( we live in Currituck Close to Barco), we opened the pizza and boy were we disappointed. We both put 2 slices on our plate and my husband did not finish either slice. There was no mushrooms, very little meat, green peppers, onions, and black olives. They didn't add the extra cheese. I know these are hard times, but we don't get to take out very often and you are one of our favorites. We hope you can change this. We would like to try again, but are afraid to. Absolutely no sauce on the pizzas. None. Meatza pizza is bread and some meat on top. The wings are like boiled chicken with no sauce. Very regrettable because they're the most expensive around. Slice pizzeria on the OBX kills this place. Or Vans or dag on anywhere else adds sauce and seasonings in their pizzas. Wish these people knew that quality ingredients matter! It's a toss up if the food will be amazing or not anymore. Kinda sad it used to be super awesome and since the original owner sold it it went down hill. I think the exhaust fan is inoperable because it's smokey inside the last two times I picked up. The floors are kinda dirty too. I only come to this place bc it's the only place I know to get pizza or subs (I like taking the subs to work for lunch.) The food isn't over the top amazing but it's good enough for me to come back. All the people here make it seem like your bothering them and that they don't want to be there. They rush you while taking phone orders and huff and puff over the phone when you don't understand what they said. I hope it improves soon. read more

I eat at Itza Boutza Pizza whenever I can. Last weekend I went to the Camden location. I got a large thin crust pizza with pepperoni and mushroom and light sauce. It was 35 minutes to prepare which I as pretty reasonable for a Friday night. What a delicious pizza they have! It was prepared correctly and was ready at the time promised. I've used this pizza place many times. It tonight of all nights they ghost me after placing an online order. I was so looking forward to a couple of pizzas and with no indications I have no pizza and no then no one answers the phone. Incredibly disappointed with this service this evening. Cant believe they would be so inconsiderate to people on Halloween. Itza Boutza Pizza serves up some really good local pizza. I had a great pick up experience here. We ordered online, which was quick and easy. I know that they deliver as well, but we decided to just go ahead and cut out the middle man and pick it up ourselves. The pizza sizes are huge. We got a large hand tossed and it lasted two of us for 3 meals. At most places a large is 14 inches, but here there larges are 18 inches. It's no joke. We got pepperoni and banana peppers as our toppings. The pizza was great. Well sauced and the crust is very good. They have a good flavor to the crust and have a good amount of garlic flavoring. It is also very good leftover, and with these sizes, you are going to have leftovers. Itza Boutza Pizza is right off 343 in Camden. If you are coming from Elizabeth City it is going to be on the left side of the highway in a small shopping center right beside the public library. The place is pretty small on the inside and nothing fancy, but once again we just got pick up. Itza Boutza Pizza serves up good local pizza for a reasonable price. The pies are huge and the crust is flavorful. They were also quick and friendly with our pick up. I would definitely order out from here again. read more

IBP never disappoints. Their sweet and spicy wings are the best I've ever had. Their bbq chicken pizza puts all other franchises to shame.

I was really disappointed with our experience here. I ordered on Yelp 24 and was provided with a pick up time. We arrived at the designated time and they didn't know an order had even been placed. They said their system wasn't working, once we asked about the Yelp 24 order they found it and started cooking everything at the pick up time. 45 minutes later everything was ready. The food was good; mac and cheese bites, garlic and cheese bread, two medium pizzas. The pizzas had minimal tomato sauce but were good besides that. The staff seemed unhappy to be there tonight. We had heard a lot of good things about this establishment but left a little disappointed. Maybe a bad night.. hope our next visit is better. Dining area was dirty. Counters needed to be cleaned. We moved out of the State about 6 years ago and used to frequent this pizzaria when here. We came back for a visit and had to try it out again. It is under different ownership now, but were glad to find that they still make a terrific pizza! We ordered a cheese steak, a meat lovers and a vegetarian pizza and they were all delicious. Nice crusts topped with a generous amount of cheese, meats and veggies. We also got wings which were cooked just right, crispy outside and moist meat in. We went to their new branch in Elizabeth City this evening and were sorely disappointed. The service initially was slow. The pizza came before the salads and the pizza was OK, but as my brother in law said, he has tasted far better. On leaving, we paid cash as there were a pile of people all trying to figure out their bills. I was also dissapointed at the lack of beer and wine. Surely these things should have been sorted out before opening. I am sure things will settle down, but compared to The Mills Downtown Bistro which is also new, the service was positively amateur. read more

The restaurant was filthy. We sat at the one table that didn't have any crumbs or garbage and it didn't have any napkins. There was trash on the floor and at table closest to the door was a stack of dirty dishes etc. The wait time wasn't too bad. When the pizza came out we were given no plates just a giant tray. This is one of those places that ask if you would like to tip when you order. I gave a tip but then had to ask for plates. The lady who handed me my plate was the same person who had taken my credit card when I ordered. (99 sanitation score? Yeah right...). The pizza was the worst I've ever had in my life. Dominoes pizza may be worse because it is covered with salt but seriously little Caesar's would have tasted better than this. The crust was softer than wonder-bread. In fact, I'm pretty sure when I cut the pizza with my knife the crust tore before the cheese. If your crust is going to be that thin it should at least be slightly crispy. The sauce was extremely sweet. Remember the sauce on the luchables pizza you had when you were 7 years old? Take that and now smother it all over an 18 inch piece of wonderbread. The cheese was decent although a little overkill. For our toppings we had Italian sausage and pineapple. The Italian sausage was pretty good (real fennel and other spices). Overall we spent almost 20 bucks for a terrible pizza. And just think we could have gotten 4 hot and ready pizzas for that price and skipped the lame atmosphere of a restaurant that isn't willing to spend money on a menu you can look at while in line or even a picture to go on the empty wall. The cherry on top was when I saw the lady with flour all over her shirt bussing the random table where all the trays go. Sure hope she wasn't going back to kneed the dough in the kitchen! read more

Love and good mom and papa place. Dam good pizza definitely towards the top of the list for pizzas in the area. My daughter enjoyed her thin crust cheese pizza. The wife and I enjoy IB supremza hand tossed, toppings were generous and sauce had a nice flavor to it. Place was clean, staff was friendly. If you're looking for a better pizza than the chains give this one a try I don't think you'll be disappointed. Looking forward to try some more things on the menu. read more

I'm going to wrap up two different experiences in one review. First, we ordered 4 large pizzas (2 pepperoni and 2 cheese) for delivery 5 minutes away from the store. We were told it would take an hour, which is outrageous for a Sunday afternoon at 2pm, and it did not get delivered for an hour and 40 minutes. Second, we just ordered a half cheese half veggie pizza. Fairly standard order. It came with no sauce. I'm sitting here eating cheese bread. Completely unacceptable. read more

This place is A JOKE. We have only ordered three times and we will never order from them again. Each time, there was something wrong with the orders. The first time, we ordered a sausage with half mushroom, pretty simple. We ended up with a sausage and full mushroom. Luckily we checked and they made a second one. The second one ended up being.... again a full sausage and full mushroom. It took them three tries to get it right. The second time we ordered, we had limited time. So we just ordered a plain extra cheese. Could they get that right? Nope, when we got the pizza, the crust wasn't even crispy on the edges, when I checked the center, the dough was still raw. Even the simplest pizza is too hard of a task for them. The third order, was the final straw. Since they have such a hard time making the most basic of pizzas, we opted for a hot sandwich. We ordered 2 steak and cheeses plain. Just steak and cheese. I guess reading is not a forte for their cooks. So, we ended up with 2 steak and cheeses witho everything on them. We are now walking away from this incompetent establishment. read more

They were very busy but you wouldn't know it, with how the staff members took the time to make me feel warm and welcomed. Their larges are more like extra larges which was also great for the price. My favorite pizza place hands down! Everything we have ever ordered from here is excellent. Their wings are crispy and perfect. Pizza is awesome! We usually get half veggie and half hawaiian. My daughter gets the philly cheese steak and loves it. Then.... to top it off... we get our fat kid on and have their dessert pizza/cinnamon sticks. Oh my word. So yummy. To begin I must say the few times I have eaten here the food was good, once they got the order correct. Most of the staff I was ever in contact with were also very kind and friendly. But after my last visit a couple weeks ago, I was brought the wrong order 3 different times and when I finally got the correct order it was totally cold. I asked to speak to the owner/manager and he was beyond rude to not only myself but the entire table of 10 that I was with. I pray maybe he was just having a bad day but for this reason myself as well as the other 9 people with me will NEVER return. I was not rude, I was not asking for free food. I simply wanted to let him know what had occurred but it was made obvious by Mr. East that if he does not know you personally, he could simply care less about your experience at his restaurant. I pray he somehow makes this business turn around and I pray more so that God or some higher power can turn this mans attitude around, sooner than later. There is no possible way he will make it in this town if he treats everyone as terribly as he did myself and I wont begin to speak about things I have heard from former employees of this establishment. My niece worked there for a short time a few months ago, as a waitress, as most people know waitresses make very little to no money as far as their paychecks go and this poor girl had her $23 paycheck bounce, and I will not begin to speak of the stories I have heard about these people threatening not only customers they dont like but also threatening current and past employees. My advice to Mr. East as well as his partner/wife or whoever she is that they find a way to get it together as quickly as possible. This is the one and only review I will write about them because they are not worth any more of my time but everyone knows nothing travels faster than bad reviews in a small town.
