The sauce was definitely on the sweet side; I've had baked ziti many times and do not recall ever eating sauce this sweet before. Our server was not overly attentive but did eventually refill our drinks. The restaurant is clean and had a bit of a 1990s feel. We both noticed that there was pay telephone in the lobby that appeared to work. It definitely reinforced the 1990s vibe. The restaurant charges a 4% fee to use a credit card. There really aren't too many dining options easily accessible off of highway 64 east of Rocky Mount until you reach the OBX. Momma's Pizza is a reasonable choice as long you have modest expectations.
