This local staple was has been around for around 30 years. I see why because they have one of the best pepper steak I've ever had!

Good spaghetti and meatballs. Subs are good. Yes they are slow but the food is good. Not fancy, benches to sit on. Clean place.

First off they don't sell pizza. It's just subs. I got a pepper steak sub and it was just ok. Nothing spectacular.

757 Philly Cheesesteak Cafe - Vick fries steak

757 Philly Cheesesteak Cafe

I was hungry for a cheesesteak and was curious about this place. Based on the previous reviews I…read morethought it was worth a try. I was also intrigued about the cheesesteak egg rolls. I hate to say it but I didn't like it. I ordered a cheesesteak and a chicken cheesesteak egg roll. My biggest complaint with both was the meat was chopped way too fine for me. I'm use to big slices of steak and chicken in my cheesesteaks. The sub roll was also not substantial enough to stay intact when I bit into it. It just fell apart. I will try this place again when I'm visiting the area because like I said earlier others thought it was great. I'll also go earlier next time because I overheard the cook say while I was waiting, "here comes the end of the night rush." They had some good foot traffic.

Let's get into it! This Cheesesteak Cafe is a "Mom and Pops Joint" located at Peninsula Town…read moreCenter. It serves Philly-style cheesesteaks, samplers, egg rolls, exceptional customer service, and some of the Best Wings I have had in the area! The restaurant is relatively small and gloomy, with enough seating to hold about 20 people for dine-in; however, this place is not a dine-in but a takeout place. I like that they put their full menu online, unlike other places that only put limited items. Service is outstanding; my first time calling in an order, the server not only told me how long it would be. Also, on this occasion, after calling in my order and completing the call, the server realized there was something that they did not have at the time. So she took the time to call and let us know and offered us something else. It was honorable in my eyes that she did that. Lastly, when I arrived, she double-checked to ensure my order was correct before I left the store. I had a cheesesteak, and my wife had the same. They were served hot, cheese melted all the way, and tasted terrific; the only problem was they were light with the meat. This is a very unique menu. They have sampler platters that can feed an army or combo platters that can feed two, and the price is right. You can mix and match them or have the pre-selected item. Now, let me talk about these wings. AMAZING! Fried to perfection, seasoned with a wet or dry rub, plain or on the side. These are cooked to order, so if you get wings to go, they are still hot when you get home. These wings are excellent, and you get them whole or halved. The wings are a must-try; they are some of the best in the area! I recommend you call ahead, but if you don't, there is a seating area where you can wait. I will be back! Happy Yelping!

I had today off, and while I was running errands I figured I'd catch a bit from one of the spots on…read moremy list that I wanted to try. This one was the closest, so I parked and went up to order a sandwich. The place is cute inside, bunch of Eagles memorabilia lining the walls, the big open counter you can see the kitchen through. Good vibes, I liked it. I had looked on their menu before to see what sounded best, and I decided on a mushroom and cheese along with a regular hot dog. The man at the counter explained my topping options. So, I got onions, ketchup, and mustard for the dog, and sweet peppers, mayo, mustard, and grilled onions for my sandwich. He wrote it down, and said I'd pay once my order was called. It was fairly quick despite seeming busy with the start of a lunch rush. I paid, and went to my car for a quick bite before wrapping and eating the rest at home. First impressions, it was hot but not burn your tongue hot. The sandwich was also huge, and the hotdog a decent size. The hot dog was split in half and grilled on both sides, which was a nice texture enhancer. Could've used a little more condiments, I'm a condiment person, but it was a solid dog. Buns were toasted a little and they flattened out a bit, which was nice. It was a good dog to bun ratio. As for the sandwich, I was super excited for it. The bread is nice, spongey, not crisp. The meat was fine, good quality and chopped nice. It was cooked, a little dry but greasy. Cheese was great. Loved the melt and flavor. Sweet peppers were almost like pickles, which added a good balance. Mushrooms were sliced so thin it blended really nicely into the meat. Onions added more savory to the meat. The mayo and mustard made it a bit more moist. Overall, it was a really great, greasy, messy lunch. They did give me a bunch of napkins which helped a lot. I can see myself coming back again, and most definitely will. If you haven't tried this place I would recommend putting it on your list, it's a great spot!

First of all the man at the counter was rushing me and a smart a$$. (He had long hair. The other man at the counter was pleasant.) I also requested that my steak be chopped up with the cheese and other items but when I opened my cheesesteak it I guess he chose not to honor my request and when I thought about it, I didn't recall him noting this on my ticket when I ordered. Cheesesteak was just ok.

My brother and I were in town for an event and decided to find something to eat after dropping off…read morepeople at the airport. We knew we needed something quick, but good. So we pulled up yelp and found fat Phillies. This is what I would call a classic Bodega/hood joint (They have all the flavors of Rap Snacks) that does a great job of serving up a good variety of sandwiches and sides at an affordable price. Now this establishment is housed inside of a convenient store in a strip mall that also has a Chinese food place and a couple of other establishments. This is a typical convenient store with groceries drinks and a couple of casino machines at the other end of the building. We pulled up to the counter as they were shutting down, so unfortunately, the wings weren't available. So we decided to go with the standard Philly cheesesteak, and fries. Sandwiches were ready in about 10 minutes and they were cooked to order. Both of us were very satisfied with the sandwiches. Mine did have a little bit of grissel and tougher meat, but not necessarily something I didn't expect given the price. Overall, this is definitely a place I would likely stop through every now and then just to grab some sandwiches and other items that I can't find in a Whole Foods.

Although they are a great place for a quick meal that's nice going down. I got the 12" Philly, and my coworker got the Italian sub. Pretty good amount of meat and cheese, the hoagie roll is soft as well. They do give a hearty amount of fries that are seasoned very generously. Same goes for the Italian sub--good amount of meat and toppings. Overall this place is a fair spot to get a nice quick lunch
