A customer told me these were the best subs he has ever had. I was not disappointed. I got a honey glazed ham sub with mayo salad tomato and cucumber. The bread was fresh, the meat was very tasty. The egg salad was amazing, tasted like a deviled egg without the paprika. It is also made fresh to order. I just regret not bringing more people to taste different subs The place has 6 tables and a counter with 4 stools.

But it is great that there was someplace to go eat near by where I staying that I haven't tried yet. It has a nice, neat country style decor with two dining areas. There was a friendly and attentive young lady that greeted us that I was told was one of the owners. The only other person I saw appeared to be the cook. I believe they are open for breakfast and lunch only. I was there for breakfast and had a loaded omelet. It was basically a vegetable omelet with all the meats available and cheddar cheese. My sides were potatoes and wheat toast. The omelet was pretty good, well stuffed and tasty. The only issue I had was with the potatoes. They weren't homefries with onion and peppers as described on menu. They were sliced potatoes that were barely fried, so mostly white potato. Overall i like the place and I will try them again next trip to NC and update the review.

Plenty of folks enjoying their drinks, chatting, and soaking in the atmosphere. I grabbed a seat at one of the larger tables, hopped on the wifi, and ordered a coffee to start the day. Their menu is impressively broad, with a huge selection of coffees and a generous array of breakfast, lunch, and brunch options--everything from baked goods and sandwiches to salads and smoothies. There's truly something for everyone. The wifi worked just fine, and the atmosphere was warm and spirited. It's the kind of place that buzzes with conversation and community. I stayed for about an hour, and it was clear this spot is a local favorite. Can a place be too popular? Maybe--but that's part of its charm. Not only was the food amazing, the family that owns it, runs it, and visited with us during our dinner was even more amazing. From being greeted as we walked in, seated and orders taken by the cheerful & friendly daughter. We chatted it up with the Dad about military life (fellow retirees) and met Mom (the magic maker of the Family operation). We throughly enjoyed our dinner choices from the sample appetizer plate to what my wife said was some of the best yellow curry she ever had. The vegetables were perfect and the curry had just enough kick. We were checked on constantly by all the Staff, and everyone was super helpful & friendly. *** Most amazing was that we accidentally left our credit card at the restaurant, and the Owner remembered during our conversation that we were staying at local Fairfield. He brought the card over after they closed up*** This is the type of family business that we would visit every week if we lived closer. We will definitely stop the next time in the area for some of the best Thai & conversation we have had in years.
