The ladies are always cheerful and very informative of their menu offerings . The owner served us today and he was very busy in kitchen and covered for one of the early waitresses. Great guy. Then the cheese bread would have been ok but Wow was there a lot of grease in that box (check pics). Then when I went to dip into the marinara - it was ice cold. I ordered a side of ranch but since they sent it in the box w/ the bread & was Luke warm. Just not a good mix. I would give them a try again because of the flavor of the sauce and taste of the Stromboli but next time might dine in.

I was actually tasked with bringing snacks in for the faculty at my daughters school and decided to bring in bagels, memories from when I worked at the bank. While I was browsing and placing my order for tomorrow I decided I wanted to go there today! My daughter and I arrive in the drive through and I honestly didn't know what I wanted. We took a minute looking at the drive through menu but there is SO much on that menu that it was a bit overwhelming so we started looking through the app (that I had downloaded a few hours before). After we placed the order it was done in like 3 minutes tops. The look of the building and the parking lot looked really nice and well maintained. Overall I spent $30 on two drinks, two soups, and two cookies. I still think that their prices are a little steep. The cookie itself is almost $5 and a drink that I would consider a size small is over $3. And the soup bowl is $8. Good for a treat but would get rather expensive if you were picking this up on a regular basis. The opposite end of this is that I ordered 4 dozen bagels for less than $50, so in that sense it was rather affordable. They also have a sip club where you can spend $15 a month and get unlimited self serve beverages. That is something I thought about for a bit because I do really enjoy a fountain drink, lemonades and such... but I wanted to try it out before I decided on that.

Every time we go back home to visit family in northeastern Ohio she insists we get one of these pizzas to bring with us when we return home to Virginia. I was excited to discover several months ago that Romeo's had opened a location in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. It's not very close to our home in Chesapeake, Virginia but we finally made the 50 minute drive a couple weeks ago. We were not disappointed. We liked it so much that ten days later we made the trip again. As I mentioned, my wife especially enjoys the Ranch Lovers Buffalo Chicken Pizza. My favorite is Romeo's Deluxe Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, red onion and mushroom toppings. The sauce is unique and a little sweeter than most pizza sauces, it's really delicious. I appreciate they don't just use the same old boring mozzarella cheese but rather their Wisconsin cheese blend. I think the sauce and cheese set Romeo's apart from a lot of the competition. The store is clean and the staff is super friendly and professional. Service is stellar. Shawn (I apologize if I'm spelling his name wrong) is the franchise owner and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his business. Be sure to create an online account to receive emails for discounts and promotions. I don't know how long it will last but they've been sending emails every Tuesday for buy one pizza and get another one free on Tuesdays. We have taken advantage of this, it's a great value on some really delicious pizza. We are so happy to now have a Romeo's Pizza in the area.
