So good Chicken YaYa is my jam. Not only is the food excellent but the owner & staff are super nice! We had them at our church during our men's event and of the 3 food truck that were there this was by far my favorite. Highly recommend! read more

Ok - so do you have to wait? Yes. Are there only picnic tables? Yes. Are the sandwiches awesome? YES! I would rather wait for an awesome sandwich from a locally owned restaurant any day than go to a quick drive-thru for food that is bland and made in a commissary. My only very minor complaint is that I wish they had either fries or chips to go along with the sandwich. We will be back for sure! PS - get the original as is. read more

IT'Z A Philly Thing - Original Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich - Food Trucks Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

Such a cool little food truck with amazing sandwiches, and OMG the philly egg rolls are INCREDIBLE! I love that I can order online and by the time I get there, I can just walk up and get my food! The guys are always super friendly too! I also love that there are some picnic tables where I can enjoy my sandwich outside when it's nice weather! read more

It was delish, reminded me of Geno's in Philadelphia. Fries were amazing. Can't wait to come back!

I really wanted to like this place! I'm a big Philly sandwich fan and saw this place. The outside is super cute and I love the idea of how it is set up and what's on their menu. I just didn't particularly care for the taste of the sandwiches I got- it seemed really really salty. But that's maybe more of a personal preference! read more

Their sandwiches are OK, nothing extraordinary. I have had original Phillys from Kings and Genos in Philly and they are very similar but the meat is cooked better in Philly; it is chopped where here it seems too finely ground. Also, more add-ons in Philly than here. read more

Drove 40 minutes just to find out they were closed. They updated their websites with promotions but failed to mention they were closed. In a matter of 5 minutes two delivery Uber eats drivers came through and we had to tell them it was closed. Y'all need to communicate! If you're closed, cool. But y'all had 2 other people while I was there turned away because of your miscommunication. And turn your delivery ish off if you're closed. You can buy me a cheesesteak for the next time I come through or lose a Philly customer for good ‍ don't matter to me. I don't believe anyone should have "Philly" in the name of their cheesesteak unless that ish is from Philly anyway. This born and raised Philly jawn drove 40 minutes to experience the hype. Y'all didn't deliver. read more

I saw some water ice online and thought I had to try it. Totally worth the drive alone. Wasn't planning on getting a cheesesteak, but ended up getting one and really liked what I got. Twas delicious. Gotta admit; water ice is kind of a terrible name and was kinda thinking. About that the entire time, but I guess the end product being great doesn't make it worth thinking much about. I really enjoyed this place and would recommend it to others. Pro tip: there's kind of a wait so I suggest ordering before going there. read more

Great food! Try the eggrolls! The eggrolls are the bomb! The ice cups are delicious and refreshing.

It was ok. Probably won't return. Sand which was kind of bland but filled the void in my stomach.

I'm giving 5 stars because I really want this place to make it. I don't go as often as I should but I lived in Philly for nearly a decade and this team is trying to bring the experience here. I need to go again soon! read more

Great taste and service. Will definitely return for a follow up visit. Highly recommended the fried Philly wraps.

Was worth the 30 min drive. I had the original Philly and fries no cheese. It was delicious the fries a little salty, but if you eat with philly made a great combo. The workers where friendly, and the wait wasn't long. Will be going back to try more of the menu. read more

This place comes recommended and gets a lot of positive reviews in our local Facebook group so we decided to check it out. We were not impressed with the Phillies at all and would not recommend it. Unsure if it was an off day for them, but we won't be going back for a second chance. read more

Food is always good. I enjoy every visit. Love supporting a local business. Can't wait to go back.

The cheese steak rolls are an absolute must!!! Ordered a platter for a party and our guests loved them. Highly recommended

Staff is very friendly! Meat lovers will love this, Wish they had vegan but I will be back! The Italian ice is amazing!! Nice outdoor seating and music to enjoy! You go Zyhir! read more

If you are in a hurry, this isn't the place for you. Waited a solid 45 minutes for one cheesesteak. If you have time to kill and wait go for it. But, the sandwich itself was okay. If you want a quick philly head over to penn station or Jersey mikes. read more

Ok this place is the Truth. I went there with my family and we got the the original Philly cheesesteak and the chicken Philly egg roll. Man this is the best philly cheesesteak in Nashville hands down. The meat was seasoned to perfection with cheezwhiz , mayo, onion, peppers and Jalapenos. The sandwich had so much meat on it. The egg roll was equally as great. The chicken and onion and pepper were seasoned well and it was nice and crunchy. I definitely will be back for more. The only thing I wish they had were fresh cut french fries. read more

First of all, it's a very low interaction that we had with the staff and it was our first time being here. We didn't know what to expect. No greetings or nothing. I ordered $50 worth of food. I ordered 2 Philly cheesesteaks and 2 orders of the egg rolls. I ordered my food at 504p and didn't get it until 534p. The lady stated that she texted me but I didn't receive no text. There was even no effort to inform me that my order was ready. It wasn't busy at all. My steak was dry. The egg rolls were decent. My boyfriend said his was good but he had better. It's a decent place. I just don't think I'd spend $50 here again with the type of service and quality of food. read more

Moving from Philly, this place is legit. Got the right rolls, cooks it right. Really happy that in the Nashville area I can get a true taste of Philly!! read more

The food is so good. It's a cute little outdoors spot. Always friendly service. I will return as often as I can.

It's difficult to find a Philly cheesesteak that actually IS a Philly cheesesteak! I'm from Philly and this is hands down the winner for the Nashville area. Not a fan of Mayo on my steaks tho, but these guys will make it without! Sides are good and even the water ice is on point!! Bellevue secret for sure! read more

Legit legit legit. 5 stars from this Philly transplant. Love that they use amoroso bread and offer all the right cheeses (whiz, prov, American). If you've never had water ice, prepare yourself. You'll never want a slushee again. read more

A bit on the small side ide even with everything on it philly sub Ide definitely go to Jersey Mike's there philly subs are 8 out of 10 more bang for your buck at jersey mike's I give there subs a 3 out of 10 read more

Bring from Philly, it's hard to find a perfect cheesesteak until they came along! It's legit as so is there "wadder ice"!

Tastes as good as it looks! Got the original Philly cheese steak and a water ice, and both were very delicious.

As someone from west chest pa living in the Nashville for 3 years I can tell you that this place sells the best water ice and most authentic steaks in the south can't go wrong with this place the owner is from philly and knows exactly what he's doing. Highly recommend read more

I just had a delicious cheesesteak from here. I only wish they had more options on the menu. I grew up near Philadelphia, and my favorite steak sandwich was the pizza steak. Marinara, provolone, and onions. To me adding the cheese whiz was always some strange tourist mutation of what a real cheesesteak was. Tony Luke's is where I go whenever I am back in the Philadelphia area, none of the Gino's or Pat's garbage. I think if this place added the pizza steak to their menu I think it would become their most popular item. It takes cheesesteaks to another level when you add that marinara sauce. I always keep marinara on stock at home, because whether I get my cheesesteaks from this joint or Jersey Mike's, I'm always taking it home to add marinara sauce and dill pickle slices. Otherwise I don't even want the cheesesteak. It's like chocolate chip cookies without milk, I don't even wanna go there. read more

Awesome! The food is delicious and the staff is nice and quick! I would definitely recommend the Philly egg roll!

Let's call it a 4.5. In a previous life I lived in W. Philadelphia. Guess is that I have eaten about 500+ Philly steaks. Today we ordered both the steak & chicken cheesesteak plus fries. Ok, we really enjoyed the food. The Amoroso roll was fresh enough to hold the cheese & the meat perfectly. The meat was not over cooked (it happens & ruins the sandwich). Lots of cheese & onions brought back the memories of sandwiches past. All that was missing was a Frank's orange soda. Note: Mayo has no place on a steak! If you want a good steak...go! Well worth it! read more

Best Philly spot in the city!!!! Great group of young people working there as well! I'll definitely be back soon!!

We ordered the OG cheesesteak and the BBQ Chicken, both were incredible! They were not busy when we went and our food came out quick and we had fantastic service. We will be coming back! read more

This review may not be that helpful as after 4 visits, I've ordered only one thing -- the original Philly Cheese Steak. It's the real deal and as good as it gets. If I had one wish, though, it would be that they offered half ones because the thing is huge. It does freeze, though, which I've done. I have seen couples order one and split it, asking for extra foil. You really do need forks, but the drippy, ooey-gooey, fall down your shirt mess is part of the total experience. The people working the window could not be nicer. Onto the pandemic precautions. Could not be better. Unlike some food trucks, masks are worn by customers when placing orders. Extra caution is used with credit cards -- instead of handing you the screen to complete your transaction (which I hate), they cheerfully complete the transaction for you. Another huge plus is that smoking is not permitted on the property. I hate being seated outdoors and having to inhale someone else's smoke that the wind blows over. Kudos for that! Consider offering half portions, and I'd be a happy camper! read more

I got the chicken philly, the egg rolls and philly water ice cherry/lemon. Everything was Dee-Lish!!

10/10 recommend! Best cheesesteak I've had in Nashville! Recommend the original Philly and egg roll! Also don't forget to get the water ice! read more

Last time I ate here, a couple of months ago, I was blown away. My sandwich was huge, almost 1.5 lb., and even at around $11, was worth it. Now, after a 30 something minute wait, I get a skimpy sandwich, not even as much meat as Subway would put in, and it was still around $11. Based on my last one, I figured my wife and I could share it for dinner. Now I'm still hungry and pissed off. Definitely not worth the wait. Don't waste your time. Nashville remains a culinary wasteland and Bellevue's stature as a culinary shithole is safe. read more

Great food. Huge portions/nice value. Pretty quick service since the menu is t very big. The egg rolls are amazing. Not what I expected.

Not horrible but not worth the money and certainly not worth the wait. Should have known better when I saw they put mayo on their cheesesteaks and offered banana and jalapeño peppers instead of the more appropriate cherry peppers. They did get the bread right at least. read more

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! I cannot even express how fast you need to make your way to this place!!
