    Wood Fired Tennessee Pizza
    Mike R.

This is a very cool looking food truck serving some delicious Artisan Pizzas. We were at an event in Franklin and this truck was there so I grabbed a slice of Cheese Pizza. I've had this truck before, but this is my first review on it. The truck has a glass front that they open up depending on the weather. You can see them inside forming the fresh dough and get a view of the 7ft. diameter Mugnani wood fired oven. The women that took my order were very friendly and speaking with all of their customers. The pizza was fresh and took about 4 minutes to come out. The Pizza slices are large and the crust is foldable like a New York style. The crust isn't thick or thin--It's in the middle as far as thickness goes, but it's DELICIOUS !!! They do offer catering with a Pizza Buffet style and offer Gluten Free and Vegan options. If your out and about and see this truck you will thank yourself for stopping and grabbing a slice.

What an amazing pizza truck! Every time I am in Fairview and see their pizza truck, I have to stop. The service is quick and easy, truck is clean and cute! Pizzas are unique, flavorful, and all around yummy. YOU MUST get The *Velvet Revolver* (their Signature Pie). The hot honey drizzle is the perfect touch. The truck is set up in an easily accessible location.

Wow! Not only did the pizza live up to the hype, it exceeded the hype! The crust on this pizza is by far the best crust I have ever experienced in my life. And I have eaten a LOT of pizza all around the world. The crust has a perfect wood-fired "crunch" on the outside, is ever so slightly gooey (in the best way) on the inside, and is perfectly fluffy. Absolutely amazing. The toppings were also top notch. For my first (of many to come!) visit I opted for the recommendation of the Velvet Revolver pizza. The pepperoni were fantastic, flavorful and just a little spicy. The honey added a nice sweet touch. Everything else was fresh and tasty. The staff were also fantastic, friendly and quick to offer suggestions and answer questions, all with a smile. When I finished my pizza I was tempted to get another to go, it was that good. But I'm trying to behave (a little) on the food front so I'll wait until next time to try some of their other pizza options. I can't wait! Being a food truck (and a really cool one at that) I highly recommend following them on Instagram to stay updated on where they'll be when. You will be very well rewarded if you seek them out and have an amazing pizza.

Velvet revolver pizza and daily special (figgy piggy I think) both were DE-lish!

I found myself over at Bellevue for dinner, 2 hours before my hockey game. I wanted quality food…read morebut not super carb heavy but also not something that could potentially wreck my stomach. After all, can you imagine having digestive problems while playing hockey? I love barbecue so I thought I'd try this place. I walked in and it wasn't at all busy at 5:32. However when I finished my order, the line was out the door. I asked the cashier what was good and the manager (maybe owner) walked over and I asked him. I wanted ribs or brisket, but needed a 2nd opinion. He said he would choose brisket because theirs is USDA Prime and he would put it against any other barbecue restaurant in Tennessee. Those are some bold words. So I ordered the brisket platter (fatty portion) with green beans and cinnamon baked apples. What I received was 3 good sized portions (1/2 pound) of fatty brisket. The meat was tender, melt in your mouth without an overbearing amount of fat clumped together. The bark was salty and very peppery. It was actually good enough to eat without a sauce. Speaking of, there was only one sauce on the table, so I used that. It was a sweet sauce, definitely honey-based but not overly sweet like other honey-based sauces I've had in the past. The thing is I love everything honey-related, so I would definitely buy this to take home. It was so good, I was scavenging for brisket fibers on my plate. So I praised the brisket but I think the shocker was the green beans. These were hands down, the best green beans I've ever had...ever. Salty, tender, peppery, with chunks of meat and fat, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Who would have thought that a side could be that good? Last but not least, the Cinnamon Baked Apples. I love baked/fried apples. Something about the tart and sweetness brings me back every time. The apples were soft, but not mushy. I would have liked them to be a little more tender and more slices of apples. I think there was more sauce than apples but nevertheless, they were great. Overall I'm glad I visited Honeyfire for the first time. I'm here often (near Bellevue) so I'll definitely be coming back again and again.

This particular truck services mostly Nashville and the immediate metro area. Travelin' Tom's forte is coffee of course, but they also offer a variety of frozen drinks, refreshers and frappe's, along with a good selection of other standard coffee house drinks hot or on ice, such as chai's, cider, matcha, etc...And if coffee isn't your thing, they have lemonade and iced tea as well! I went with the nitro cold brew and added a flavor syrup. It was potent and strong, as the "nitro" part of the name would suggest. Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming, and I couldn't finish the whole thing. I am thinking a bit of milk may have help make it a bit more palatable. The service was slightly off-putting at the window. Several of our team members described the barista as "scary". She was efficient, but seemed to lack the bedside manner that you are accustomed to at food trucks. Overall, I would say a solid 3.5 for me. Travelin' Tom's was cool to experience for me and the team. Wouldn't mind having them back or grabbing a drink when I see them out in the wild again.
